    Sampson charged through the spot where Sleepy and Lars had been just a moment before. The Ponyta looked around for them, puzzled as to where they might have gone. He turned to Jory, pawing at the dirt with his hooves. Jory was still standing in his previous position, unable to appropriately react to the pair's disappearance. "Wha-... how?.... The battle...?" he stammered, looking to the other cadets for answers. That GAO can make people disappear? he thought to himself, worried about Lars. "Hey guys, maybe we should go look for Lars."

    Jory grinned as Sleepy deflected the attack. "Wow! That's awesome!" he said loudly, unable to contain his excitement. His GAO seemed to be no worse for wear after launching his attack. "Alright, Sampson! Use that one Tackling attack!" The Ponyta snorted, then complied and charged toward Sleepy.

    You were the one behind that, so you tell me. As far as I can tell it's just an intro to 5th gen, not carte blanche for us to take gen5 starters also I'm only sore about it because i wanted a Minccino

    I'm pretty sure it's just gen 1-4 right now.

    Jory frowned slightly as Lars sent out Buddy. I know it's gotta have some kind of psychic ability, but I don't want Sampson to break it in half... he thought to himself, perplexed as to how to order his GAO to attack the other without being overly rough about it. "Can you send some fire his way?" he asked the horse-thing. The Ponyta looked back at Jory expectantly, once again blowing sparks and hot air out of his nose. That brought to mind some of the other supernatural things these GAOs could do. Like Virtue making that invisible barrier. Suddenly, Jory grinned to himself and snapped his fingers, entirely satisfied with his conclusion. They're key words. Barrier, Tackle. They're just simple command words. "Alright, Sampson! Shoot some embers at it!" The equine GAO responded immediately, opening his mouth and blowing a stream of orange-tinted hot air and sparks toward the smaller GAO. "Alright!" Jory cheered as his Ponyta was able to use an ability. What was that, Shoot? Embers? It's gotta be Embers.

    Jory looked over at the person who had asked him to battle. His name's Lars... right? Better safe than sorry. "Yeah, sure, man!" Jory walked a short distance away from Lars, his GAOs following him. Sampson was snorting and bucking his head, obviously quite restless at the prospect of a battle. "Okay! Same rules as them! Don't hurt each others' partners too badly!" The trainer smiled and turned toward Sampson. "You're up first, Sampson. Let's show them what we've got!" The Ponyta tossed his head and then stepped in front of Jory, ready to battle. "Who're you gonna use, Lars?"

    Mega Rapidash Type: Fire/Flying Ability: Aerilate Old Stats: 65 / 100 / 70 / 80 / 80 / 105 New Stats: 65 / 140 / 90 / 80 / 80 / 145 Appearance: Elongated horn and wings (white bony area, flames instead of feathers). Shiny is white with gold flames.

    Jory nodded, still grinning happily. "It's alright, Lionel. Although I think you should go check on Keaton's GAOs," he added as an afterthought, still focused on the idea of testing out his new friends in battle.

    I imagine that a Poison/Steel type would be a somewhat malevolent/misunderstood legendary like Giratina. Maybe it should have a new ability that makes its Poison-type attacks more powerful since we haven't seen a Poison-type main series legendary yet. I imagine something like this: Blight- Increases the power of Poison-type attacks by 1.5x when HP falls below a threshold point.

    Drug'thok walked over to his body, prodding his torso with his foot. "Well, it appears as though I had a small accident." The sorcerer chuckled, casually weaving a small spell around his corpse with his hands. The corpse glittered for a moment, then sunk into the dirt below it. A small flower appeared where Drug'thok's other body's head had been. "We have a second chance to save the world. Let's not squander it."

    Name: Nolan McKyntyre Appearance: Male, Average (5'8"), medium-length orange hair, blue eyes Age: 18 Personality: Driven. Will do anything to get what he wants. Backstory: Decided to go to the hill in order to become powerful enough to change the world. Ability: Absorption of others' abilities. Cost: Can only use their abilities while he is near them and has slightly mitigated drawbacks. Also means he lacks expertise with certain powers. I figured it would be nice to have someone working "against" the group.

    Jory stepped back, not sure how to feel about the sudden rash of battles. On one hand, it was pretty cool to watch the GAOs duke it out under controlled circumstances. On the other hand, he really hated the idea of asking Nefertiti or even Sampson to get hurt because of him. He turned to face the equine GAO, stroking the beast's neck. "Sampson, I'm not sure how to feel about this. I guess it's really up to you two. Do you want to battle for me?" He looked from Sampson to Nefertiti, concern evident on his face. Sampson turned his head toward Jory and snorted, releasing another shower of sparks from his nostrils. He pawed at the dirt, pointing his head toward the battle. "I guess I'll take that as a yes. How about you, Neffi? I won't make you battle if you don't want to." The smaller GAO looked up at Jory and nodded, her small claws glowing white as she scratched at the dirt. "Okay then!" Jory smiled and hugged his friends. "If you want to battle, then I'll be the best partner I can be. I want to help you be the best you can be!" The Ponyta looked Jory in the eyes and then bowed his head, moving his mane into Jory's hand. "What the-!" Jory began, but stopped as he realized the flame didn't hurt. "Cool, coolcoolcool..." Jory murmured as he looked at his hand in awe. He then turned toward the field. "Hey! I want to fight whoever wins!"

    Drug'thok looked upon the Lady of Light with awe, his face awash in pure awe. He finally blinked, the death of Magni barely registering as he gained his bearings. This place was... Pure magic.... the sorcerer thought to himself, delighting in the divinity of the plane. He breathed in slowly, still quite unable to believe that he was alive. Eventually, a worm of thought poked its way into his delighted stupor. He did not want to address it. His surroundings were a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I must... he realized, seeking out that small, itching thought in the back of his mind. At last, Magni's death struck him. He did not feel sorrow or regret, but anger. He was just visiting his father, he thought angrily, cursing the ill-fated coincidence. At last, he gathered himself and spoke. "How do we stop him?"

    Okay, so my post is going to be divided into three parts: Region, Limited Fanfiction, and Legendary Pokemon. 1) Region I feel as though the creation of a new region would be pretty cool. We could turn it into an RP community project, with gym leaders being able to have a say in what exactly their town is like. It would also lend itself to the creation of areas as deemed necessary by the community and would obviously need to be designed after any "limited fanfiction" is decided upon in order to make room for that. The creation of a new region would also permit leaders to choose types or no type at all (similar to Blue in Gen 2). It would also make it much easier to include the "limited fanfiction" factor. 2) Limited Fanfiction The addition of limited fanfiction would be the driving reason to make a new region. We could make legendary Pokemon and actually be able to include them in the proper environment, as well as create new plot devices that have not already been used to death. I really like the idea of new Mega Evolutions as well- it gives a trainer a reason to bond with a Pokemon that might not be used otherwise. The new Eeveelution is a cool idea as well; it could be similar to the Gen 4 Eeveelutions that rely on location to evolve. 3) Legendary Pokemon Community vote, moderator supervision.

    Jory laughed at Nefertiti's antics, turning around and stroking the GAO's head. "Hey now, don't tease!" He then turned his attention back to Keaton and Logan, a concerned frown forming. "I'm not sure if I'm up for a battle, especially after seeing what happened to Erick's GAO. It's our responsibility to protect our partners, and right now the best way for us to do that is to receive proper instruction before setting them at each others' throats, you know?" he asked the other two, a little incredulous that they would even suggest something like that after watching the gruesome fight between Erick and Surge. Sampson looked at Jory curiously, blowing sparks out of his nostrils and standing at his trainer's side.

    Jory laughed as Crush tackled his trainer to the ground. "Well, that's one way of finding out how your GAO feels about you," he said lightheartedly. Nefertiti mewled in Jory's arms, scratching him lightly with her paws. "You want to get down, Neffi?" he asked the small creature. The Nidoran nodded and Jory bent over, releasing her onto the ground. Nefertiti walked over to Crush and booped him on the nose before suddenly rushing back to Jory and hiding behind his legs.
