  1. "Make it quick," the sorcerer said just before the monstrous figure swung his blade. Drug'thok closed his eyes and smiled as the blade fell toward him. His hood was thrown back by the wind, revealing his snub nose and elongated lower canines. Perhaps I bought them enough time. Even mere moments will be treasured when this monster continues upon his path. The sword reached the half-Orc, slicing cleanly through his left collarbone and down through his heart. The blade stopped there, as though rooted in stone before being withdrawn from his body. Drug'thok crumpled to the ground, a grin still on his lips as the light faded from his vision and blood began to pool around him.
  2. Jory reached out to pet the Squirtle on his head, making sure to move slowly. He spoke calmly to Crush, still observing the turtle-thing's every move. "This is Nefertiti, but I like to call her Neffi. She's a... she's my partner, just like you're Logan's. And you know what, Crush? I never really had pets growing up. I always wanted one, but now that I have her and Sampson I can't help but think that there's something more here. She and Sampson are going to be my best friends, I can already tell." Sampson snorted in disagreement, shaking his head. "Well, maybe Neffi. Sampson's playing hard-to-get right now." Jory looked up at the Ponyta and grinned lightly. I'm not alone anymore... Jory wiped something away from his eye and looked back down at Crush. "I think Logan wants to be your friend, Crush. Whaddya say?"
  3. Drug'thok grimaced as the spires crumbled harmlessly against this.... monster's shield. He turned his head so the rest of the group could hear him. "Get out while you can! I shall attempt to hold him here! Spread the word, and quickly. This world is in great peril!" With that, Drug'thok strode toward the malevolent giant, desperately firing shards of rock at him. Suddenly, a golden knight appeared at the end of the street and disappeared just as quickly. The sorcerer continued his advance. This monster cannot be stopped, not by my magic and not by petty illusions. He continued forward, his every instinct screaming at him to run.
  4. Instead of that, maybe just have a patch on their uniforms or something? idk just spitballing ideas.
  5. Drug'thok gaped as the Harbinger brutally murdered Magni. The sorcerer stepped forward to interfere with Marcus's fight, but not before Marcus had his arm sheared off the side of his body and was crushed to the ground. The half-Orc clenched his fist, blood running from his palm as his fingernails bit into the toughened flesh. He began to chant loudly: "Terra maximo locoxe en venti e nagrima hana-e abre terra maximo ytexa mela-a nakuma el-redar expulse!" As he chanted, the earth began to shake around him. A weakened building collapsed behind him as the rumbling intensified. The ground in front of him split open and seven large stone spires levitated out before the chasm sealed itself. "Terra expulse!" Drug'thok shouted, his breathing clearly labored as he thrust his hands forward and caused the spires to fly toward the Harbinger.
  6. "Sigurd, NO! Terra locoxe!" Drug'thok screamed. The earth underneath Sigurd rumbled loudly. Suddenly, a large dirt pillar rose underneath Sigurd, flinging him backward toward the group. The half-Orc's eyes flashed yellow for a moment before returning to normal. "What sort of demon are you?" he asked their enemy loudly as shards of earth began circling the sorcerer once more.
  7. Drug'thok stepped in front of the line of his allies. "Stand back," he ordered, his voice solemn. He watched with curiosity as the lizard-men fled, then turned his attention to the rider approaching them. Drug'thok closed his eyes and reached out with his magic, attempting to feel what the earth felt near the rider. The air reeked of death, and the earth seemed to rebel against the entity's very existence. He turned his head so the others in the group could hear him. "This... thing that is approaching... It is a more powerful foe than any who were here before." The sorcerer retracted his magic senses, the maleficence of the entity leaving him light-headed. As he pulled away from the entity, he felt his health returning. Is he of Death? Drug'thok wondered to himself.
  8. Jory laughed lightly as the turtle-like GAO fired off its Water Gun into the woods. "Well, aren't you just full of spunk?" he asked the GAO as he bent down, looking it in the eyes. "Have you met Nefertiti yet, Crush?" he asked the turtle.
  9. Drug'thok waited calmly behind the Barrier, blasting the rabble away with pieces of stone to guard the backs of his comrades in the anti-magic shell. Come on. Drop the Officer and the fight is ours!
  10. "How do you keep your GAO under control? Mine do nothing but cause trouble." Jory looked up from Nefertiti, noticing Logan and nodding in acknowledgement to his question. He softly stroked Nefertiti's head, then looked at Logan again. "Honestly, I'm not sure. My mom once told me that I have the rare ability to love unconditionally, but I don't think that's why mine listen. I think they're scared, all of them. I don't think any of them were actually born the way they are. They must be just as frightened of themselves as we are of them. They just need to know that everything is going to be okay." He shifted Nefertiti to his left arm, then stroked Sampson on the nose. The Ponyta tossed his head, removing Jory's hand from himself. Jory frowned, then thought of something. He held the Nidroan in both arms again, turning toward Sampson. "Sampson, this is Nefertiti. She's gonna be like a sister to you now, okay? You and I need to protect her." The equine GAO lowered his head into Jory's arms, sniffing the other GAO before lifting his head back up and looking Jory in the eyes, nodding his head. Jory turned back to Logan. "I'm Jory, by the way. What's your name?"
  11. Jory sighed and walked over to Keaton, shaking his head. "Hey man, I think your GAO just needs to be paid attention to. At least that's the case with this little bundle of awesome right here," he said, the latter part directed at the Nidoran in his arms. He tickled the GAO under her chin, causing her to tilt her head back and spit out a series of sharp, purple needles harmlessly into the forest as she let out something between a laugh and a mew. Jory flinched away from the attack, bringing Nefertiti with him. "Neffi, what was that?" he wondered aloud. "Is that one of your attacks?" The small GAO nodded her head, nuzzling Jory's neck and drifting off to sleep.
  12. Drug'thok moved back to the barrier he'd raised, meeting with a few of his fellow heroes in the middle of the fray. "What's the plan?" one of them asked. The half-Orc raised his eyes to take in the Wind Templar. So many skilled fighters in one place.... This is no coincidence. Drug'thok raised a pillar of stone under his feet so he could see over the barrier. The well-organized army was bearing down on them. He returned to ground level, where he leaned in so he could speak more clearly to the others. "I believe our wisest course of action might be to slay their leader first. I cannot aid you with this, however. Once he is defeated, I can likely drive the rest of them off."
  13. Drug'thok whirled to see Marcus heading for the barrier. He nodded at the Cinder Knight, then turned toward the rooftop where Akuma lay embattled. The sorcerer watched the bird-man physically dismember his foes, wincing with each brutal stroke of Akuma's hammer. The sorcerer stomped the ground, causing a pillar of stone to rise under his feet quickly, launching him toward the Kenku and landing him seemingly unharmed on the opposite side of the small group of enemies. The half-Orc swirled his cloak, trailing sand from a wineskin attached to his hip. Some of the foes turned toward the sorcerer, growling and baring their teeth before lunging at him.. Drug'thok grinned lightly, then said, "Arena expulse." The sand (which had by this time pooled into a layer coating the ground in a ten-foot radius around the half-Orc's feet) was pushed downward, creating a 5 meter deep pitfall for the enemies. Six of the feral warriors fell in, but one made it over the pit and swung at Drug'thok. The sorcerer sidestepped the wild swing and kicked the Green Orc in the chest, sending him into the pit with the others. "Arena cantrohl zed!" The sand came back up to the surface, filling in the pit with dense, hard-packed earth, then returned to the wineskin. Drug'thok calmly placed the cork back on the skin, allowing Akuma to finish the rest.
  14. Drug'thok backed away from the crowd slowly as his stones were vaporized upon contact with the anti-magic shield. He turned to the rest of the group, taking a deep breath. "We need some fighters down here, now! I cannot touch them with my magic while that dark shield still exists!" The half-Orc turned back toward the street, focusing his energies. "Terra locoxe!" he shouted, making a raising motion with his arms. A huge chunk of earth rose from the ground in the middle of the street, preventing any projectiles from coming from the horde.
  15. I was actually more concerned that I'd seem OP It's hard to find a good balance when your character's alias is the "Stone-Caller" EDIT: Welp
  16. I couldn't find a language to use for my magic so I just kinda made it up as I went along XD I figured that as a sorcerer, my guy would be pretty skilled at combating multiple people from range, but isn't particularly skilled at close range and can only really defend himself at that range by covering himself in stone or something else equally contrived.
  17. Drug'thok sighed, shaking his head as the group ran recklessly out of the tavern. "And we're off without even a simple plan," he said aloud. He turned on his heel and strode out the door into the pouring rain, immediately encountering the fallen corpses of both friend and foe. Kobolds, Goblins, and... Oh, mercy no... he thought to himself as he saw the corpse of a savage Green Orc. The half-Orc delicately stepped over the body and joined the line of heroes, looking down the street at the horde. A volley of arrows flew toward him from a rooftop on his left. Six of them on a roof. Drug'thok raised his right hand and quickly said: "Terra locoxe." A large chunk of mixed earthen materials two meters high and one thick rose up from the ground near Drug'thok. "Terra expulse." The mass flew toward the goblins, picking up their arrows and crashing into them, taking a large chunk of the roof with it as the earth crushed the sorcerer's foes and continued off into the woods. The half-Orc then turned his attention down the street, to the crowd being led by the large, armored lizard. He strode forward, beginning an incantation. "Abre terra cun gryte fwyrte e lyste mes nakuma terra!" The earth around Drug'thok began to rumble loudly as he came to a halt several meters in front of the group from the tavern, facing down the lizard and his troupe. Shards of stone began to worm their way upward through the soil, some extending to nearly a meter in length and a third of that in thickness. After roughly ten seconds, a few decuplets of shards were floating in a rough circle around the sorcerer. "Terra expulse," Drug'thok said calmly as he joined the index fingertips and thumbs of his hands at the tips to create a triangle, the rest of his fingers splayed to the sides of them. His spell coincided with a sharp pushing movement of this hand formation, causing the shards to fly down the street toward the organized group of enemies.
  18. I'm currently playing through Omicron/Zeta. It's a long game, but holy crap is it fun.
  19. Hey K_H, good to have you here! Just a quick tip: If you work on your grammar, it makes it easier for us to read your posts. In addition, it'll help you do better in school or whatever.
  20. The thunder rumbled loudly, as if punctuating the unfortunate end of the tankard of ale. Drug'thok stood abruptly as the man in plate armor stumbled in, causing the half-Orc's chair to slide backward into the wall. The sorcerer strode over to Odin, facing him and clasping his shoulder. "Friend, you have given me safe harbour and even better, free ale. Allow me to aid you," he said loudly enough for others to hear. He then turned to the rest of the group in the tavern, looking expectantly at their faces. Surely I cannot be the only one who is willing to help. He then turned back to Odin. "I may have neglected to mention earlier that I am a sorcerer; magic is my lifeblood, my connection to Graterras. Anything I can do to aid you, I will."
  21. Flux, you seem to have misread a few things: 1) Dirt and sand came from under the door of the tavern 2) Drug'thok finished his ale already. That spell won't really do much.
  22. Don't worry, dude. I enjoyed that post. It was a really good character development moment, which was super-necessary for you since you haven't been in the RP all too long.
  23. Drug'thok continued to sip his ale, whistling a little bit to look more casual. He glanced over to the Elven maiden, who seemed to be quite upset about her chair. He lifted his tankard to his chin to hide his smile and took another long gulp of ale. This tavern had been getting just a little bit dull, anyway. He cautiously looked around the room. People had noticed the prank, and evidently thought it might result in a fight. The half-Orc sighed and shook his head. Cannot any person take a small joke in this age? he wondered to himself, frowning as he realized his tankard was empty.
  24. Y U NO VOTE LAURA? But seriously, she's such a sweetheart.
