Well congrats to whoever made this puzzle. It has my friend and I stumped. We got through the riddle but are now delving into full on insanity trying to find more meaning. From running certain parts through cipher decoders, to solving anagrams, to googling different meanings for circles with dots in them. We are losing it

I know. But I can't quite figure out if it's a word, sentence, number combination or something entirely else  Inspecting the code of the page doesn't help either.

Hadn't considered that. My gut feeling says it's just something somebody randomly bashed into their keyboard. Lots of closeby letters in the center of the keyboard, like kjh, and numbers that are often in sequence, but no 1 (too far left on the keyboard). Also no repetitions.

It's not too hard to guess. It's not a person. Think along the lines of something very valuable and expensive.

Thats what my friend and I did. We got 2 that seem odd. 4 and 8 seems like an anagram

Took me a while but I figured the keyword out. That was a good riddle.

its one of many different ways people encoded messages, you just shift the letters by any number in the alphabet to solve it, but it didnt work for this

i tried entering this mirror ciphered phrase where we had the first riddle but it says incorrect keyword

The blog is a mirror cipher, not the URL of the second part.

Anyhow, I ran exif and binwalk on the gif, ran the URL through pretty much every cipher I could think of, ran ScreamingFrog on the blog itself, can't find anything else. Looked around the html page itself for any other sneaky messages but nada.

Dumbed it down a bit and went through the individual frames of the gif...Nope. If anyone else has anything or is already in the third stage, lmk.

No, the keyword is written in lower case. 

So far the puppet masters gave us something good several times, so I don’t think the next package would be suspicious at all. But who knows.
