I don't know whether this is a fix or updated yesterday but Vullaby went from Breeding only to Wild/Repeatable Event

Aye, didn't notice that. Thanks

Magneton from Evo to Wild/Repeatable

Cloyster from Evo to Wild/Repeatable

Seadra fixed from Evo to Wild/Repeatable (you can get it with super rod at Ametrine in E17)

Machop fixed from Evo/Breeding to Wild/Repeatable (you can get it in Glitch Victory Road in E17)

Lots of changes just happaned on the list
Magneton/Cloyster/Seedra/Musharna/Fire&Water Gen 5Monkey/Avalugg/Diggersby/Leavanny from Evolve/Breed to Catch/repeat event
Hariyama from Event to Catchable/repeat Event

Dev Blog snuff says "In order to tell which are fixes and which are new, know that only today's new mons are ice types."

So the new mons then are Avalugg and Cloyster while everything else is a fix.

I just had a 10 hour workday in the sun and have another tomorrow, so I'm not really feeling up to double checking the list today. I've updated it with the things Paperblade and Khaisz found, lemme know if you find any more of the retcon updates, though!

I just want victory road to have fully evolved wild Pokemon that people spent hours on getting so that everyone feels like it was useless trying to catch them anyways lol. Especially there should be psuedo legendaries like Metagross, Garchomp etc. Then it would really feel like a victory road made to discourage everyone.

Vullaby's the most confusing one so far, I wouldn't expect any new areas to have wild Vullabies instead of Mandibuzzes. So that's probably not a typical "new area, new wild pokemon" thing. Either it's been added earlier in the game, or there's some sort of repeatable event involving it, or possibly there's some kind of pokemon nursery area? Some new area that specifically has a lot of low-level pokemon, maybe a few of the previous Mystery Egg-only ones like Azurill or Gastly. Could be a decent way to make them obtainable without having to add too many new events or letting us skip straight to level 80-90 versions.

Hmm? The elemental monkey evolved forms (minus grass one), were always available in Chrysolia Springs, ever since episode 16...

Yeah, but they where shown on the obtain list as evolve only, but has been fixed there now and shows them as catchable in the wild.

I'm sure I've seen Vullaby in the wild somewhere, maybe the desert or maybe before (Beryl? 🤔) but I'm not sure

Checked my pokedex and Vullaby is nowhere to be found in the wild. Mandibuzz can be found in the Teknite Ridge

You can find Magnemite freely roaming about Shade's gym. That should stay as it is. And I didn't receive an egg either I think.

I think Ame would move it into the back room that's locked. Need to give other electric and steel types a chance to shine

@Abyssreaper99

The only other electric steel type is Togedamaru which no one would probably even bother picking up. Klink is pretty decent steel type but then the player is deprived of a strong electric type that resists stuff.

Honestly with so many pokemon that are difficult to obtain and with the overpowered field effects of gym leaders, there should be the easy availability of at least one pokemon that can carry a team through.

Getting the Yuryeu key was a disaster for me because of the horrendous puzzle. With the key you could evolve Magneton into Magnezone. I think the puzzle is changed now but it was still bearable because you could get a Magneton without it and the offensive stats of Magneton and Magnezone are the same. But depriving the player of a whole good pokemon for a long time by locking it up behind a puzzle, especially after their team is probably already built is pretty bad.

Ah I meant mons that can either be electric or steel (Ampharos, Jolteon, Klinklang, etc).
