"I suppose we should head for this bar?" Lexiel suggests.  She reapplies her disguise, and heads for the bar, pausing to slap an Azorius traffic ticket on the hood of every misparked vehicle she passes.

Visrii snorts, considers tearing up the brochure, but keeps it, just in case they had to raid somewhere to get medical supplies.

"See there, 'angel'? Places like this doesn't give a fuck about your concept of 'justice'. Let's find whoever's sending us to do their dirty work, do the shit and get out of here. Nothing here's worth the trouble." Visrii says to 'Lexiel'.

Visrii checks the weapon, and pulls the trigger like he saw the guards do.

Huh. Must have run out of those arrows. I'll just sell it for scrap, then.

The man responds with "All of their SINs match up with confirmed members of the humanis policlub, no record of any of them working with Lone Star"
The woman chuckles "Hah, you're in luck it seems, it still counts as the usage of a blunt weapon against another citizen, which is a 500 nuyen fine.....that would be collected by a member of Lone Star, so yeah, you should be fine"
"Take care, and good luck winning that costume contest, I had no idea that the Renaissance fair was still on"

Visrii and Lexiel would see the bouncer, who has yet to allow any of the gathering crowd to enter.

The bartender spots Psymund moping around the bar, and he says "You look like you need a drink".

"If I ever get as jaded as you, I hope someone puts me out of my misery," Lexiel mutters in Visrii's general direction, "Everybody wants justice, save the foolish and depraved.  But few have the courage and strength of arms to get it.  Oi, bouncer.  Harley. Quinn.  Davidson.  Oh, and tell riddle guy that I'm going to set his pants on fire if I see him again.  If I wanted pointless, cryptic nonsense I'd hang out with Jace."

"Justice to one is sin to another. The only vague sense of 'justice' is what everyone agrees upon to be mutually beneficial to the most number of people.

Those people on the sidelines get swept away just for the convenience of befitting the wider public. What do the public blame when things go wrong? The poor. The aliens. The different.

Because there are less of them. Or they are not as loud as them. And all your 'everyone loves justice' shit disappears.

... and who are you to decide what's right and wrong for everything?"

"You talk like you think anyone knows the answer to questions like that.  You want Razia or Iona or something for big, philosophical pronouncements.  I'm just a fecking task mage who picked the wrong place to get bodied and woke up with wings and a compulsion to righteousness.  Or self-righteousness.  Not sure how much a difference there is.  Whatever the answer, I don't get a choice anymore.  All I know for certain is that a cause is only lost if no one will champion it.  For better or worse, this one is mine until I get dead again.  Free will's a real head-twister; it brings out the highest and lowest in you mortals.  I'm not sure I miss having it.  But it does mean that whether you sink to the depths or rise above the rest, there's no excuses.  You choose your path, for harmony or for suffering.  And in my experience, whether I get involved or not, you'll reap what you sow one day.  Heh.  Look at me, talking like a real Archangel.  Maybe in a couple centuries, assuming I don't get my fool butt killed doing something heroic and stupid, people will stick my sigil all over their holy vestments and armor, and pray to me for safety and protection.  Keep my rambles of wisdom in a little proverb book or something.  Or I'll go batty dealing with people like you and turn into a loan shark.  That's what Ravnican angels do when they Fall, you know.  Better fate than what most Fallen can look forward to at least."

Becoming rather exasperated, Edmond asked pointedly.
"What is Aztechnology? You still have not explained that satisfactorily. What is the book? How did these people get ahold of it, and what type of security will we need to get through?"

He was about rattle off another string of questions, but quickly thought better of it.

"If you don't know enough, at least tell us this: when will the laughing man be here? He will know, right?"

The bouncer opens the door with "Then I better bring a fire extinguisher then, you'll know why soon enough", after a few moments he says "Your 'friend' may want to tone down his general philosophical stance, and hide that halberd of his better, I mean what is this? The Renaissance fair?".

Solomon takes another sip of vodka, somehow still not passing out from the sheer amount of alcohol he is ingesting "Aztechnology are one of the worst companies in existence morality wise, unless you are one of their employees and think that human sacrifice is a perfectly harmless and moral way to power up your magic of course." he then stops to consider Edmond's questions some more, until he replies with "It is supposed to be one of those extremely ancient books, the kind that contains magical secrets that presumably would be better of remaining buried, I honestly don't know where they obtained it to be honest, but I would guess that they either found it in an archaeological dig, or stole it from someone, the latter seems more likely than the former, if they had obtained it legally they wouldn't have kept it inside what is at best their second most secure facility".

Another bout of sipping at the vodka follows "Heavily armed and fanatically devoted men and women, watcher spirits, just...watcher spirits everywhere, security cameras just in case the watcher spirits weren't enough, misc locking devices, pressure pads, that one security device that does literally nothing if you can just cast an invisibility spell and is pretty unreliable even if you can't, dumbfire miniguns, elemental spirits if the guards weren't enough, a smattering of world eating monsters if we are a bit late, that is pretty much all we have to worry about if we are only trying to attack the real world, not sure about the whole matrix thing.".

"Ah, not much I can do about that.  Polearms aren't the most concealable weapons around, and not everyone can be as gifted in the arts of subtlety and being fun as us,"  Lexiel grins at the bouncer conspiratorily, "Don't worry.  I know a good extinguishing cantrip.  Second spell I ever learned."

Striding past Visrii and the bouncer into the club, Lexiel immediately realizes that she's made a critical error as she hits what to her keen senses feels like a wall of sound and stench.  Ravnican Revues can get loud and smelly, especially if the Rakdos are running the place.  However, they're still acoustic.  Electric speakers are a lot louder, enough so to drown out any attempt at navigation.  "Oh, no.  Uh, grumpy halberd guy?  Friendly bouncer?  Theo?  Jump pack guy?  ...Anybody?"  Not good.  Very not good.  At this point, even finding the exit again is unlikely to happen.  The only bearing she can get is directly towards the stage.  So, fingers firmly in her ears, that's where she goes.

Unfortunately, knowing the direction of the stage doesn't tell her when she's reached it, and as she gets close a large, boisterous fellow accidentally elbows her hard enough to lay her out, face down, right at Theo's feet.  With the speakers facing outward, she feels like she's standing in the eye of the hurricane.  "...This day is not going at all as planned."

Lexiel considers her options.  She could dive back into the completely impassable crowd and never find her compatriots again, or she could stay where it's relatively quiet, give the DJ a boost, and hopefully find someone she knows once the club closes.  And just maybe, she could convince him to play something a little bit easier on her poor, poor ears.

"Hey, music man!  How do you feel about about a duet?" Thinking quickly, Lexiel hums a few bars of the first song to come to mind.  Her aura begins ramping up again, as it always does when an angel chooses to sing, "You got a beat for this?

"Well, my friends, it's been a long, long time..."

The first piece she thought of.

"Oooh, sounds crazy, crazier than any challenge I've faced before!" Halley spoke up, almost stood up from excitement. "Hit me up. How are we going to get to this facility? In fact, where IS it anyway?" She asked, much intrigued by the details.

Solomon turns to face Edmond "You know, you can keep asking me what Aztechnology is like or what the security will be like, or you could just read the book I gave you".

He looks oddly at Halley "That's weird, I have never seen someone be so excited over the prospect of potentially dying horribly".

"Dying horribly? Come on, I'm literally made for this! Crime-Fighting Extraordinaire, that's me!" Halley said. "And besides, it's not like you're taking No for an answer, right?" She smiled cheerfully.

"So, are you telling me how to get there or not?"

"Calm down, the others aren't here yet, and it's a couple of hours away if we take a car, it's somewhere in the northern areas of the town, I don't remember it's exact location", Solomon stopped talking and continued sipping away at what is now very likely to be nothing but water in a vodka bottle.

Psymund would find himself greeted by the club's owner, if by greeted you mean almost kicked in the back of the head as the man jumped over the bar's counter, the man quickly composes himself and says "What? It is a very good way to save money".

"I had no idea. Hmm. The Neo-Anarchist's Guide to Real Life? I very much doubt that they'll be able to answer all my questions in a single magazine, but I'll take a look before assaulting you with further questions."

Edmond took a glance at the magazine that he had been ignoring in his hand, and stared at the cover. He carefully opened it and began to read, skimming over the articles that seemed less than relevant.

What is in the magazine?

Edmond would find that the book has no actual information about Aztechnology, instead talking about the Seattle lifestyle, how to survive on a small budget, personal weaponry and armor that are both fashionable and easily concealable, the most common technological security systems, and how to bypass them...it is a treasure trove of information on a lot of things, but not necessarily what Edmond would want to know about, although it would also tell him about the value of the Nuyen inside of his credstick.

Visrii sighed, annoyed at this 'Lexiel'. Wyvis always told him he would meet someone just as headstrong and opposite to him. And here they were, striding around, sticking their faces into other people's businesses. In shady parts, that was the fastest way to get yourself killed.

He heard thumping inside the bar, and sounds of bad music in between the crashing of glass bottles. Theo. He growled. He JUST came back from battling a bunch of idiots because Lexiel decided to go ahead and torture a guy in the name of 'justice'. Now they were too busy entertaining a bunch of drunks to actually go ahead with the mission. "Ah shit..."

Bars back in Rosenfell did permit weapons in bars, knowing how rough it got in there, but 'bars' in snobbish countries like Nivinuxis forbade even the notion. This bar looked no way near snobbish, but the bouncer didn't look pleased looking at Climax. Urgh, fine.

He held up Climax, and suddenly, it burst into flames. Within seconds, the giant polearm crumbled into ashes, the dust flowing into one of his armour's many pockets. An old trick of the Watchers; extremely useful to conceal weapons whenever they needed to. He felt a dull pain in his arm whenever he did this, but it saved his neck in all sorts of situations.

He pushed inside to towards the stage, and seeing how they were still attempting to entertain the crowds, Visrii grudgingly played along, shooting up a non-lethal lighting storm in sync with the lighting.

15 Minuters

Round 4

Lexiel proceeds to sing a certain song, dealing 1 damage, some of the crowd seems to be leaving with their guns drawn, and several men and women appear to be calling someone, an imposing looking tusked man in a leather jacket seems to be crying about something.

Theodore plays some rap music, which meshes badly with the song that Lexiel had been playing, but despite everything it still manages to deal 5 damage.

Visrii is apparently confused, as his thunderbolts and lightning seems out of place in a setting that isn't a metal concert or the second part of the bohemian rhapsody, he still manages to deal 6 damage

Some members of the crowd try to contribute to the show by firing a rather large fireball into the air, this deals 6 damage to Lexiel and Theodore, it also deals damage to Visrii, but that doesn't matter as....

Visrii is hit in the back of the head by the friendly bouncer from earlier, knocking him out cold, as Visrii is being picked up and carried by the other bouncers the friendly bouncer says "Is this guy real? Who randomly shoots lightning inside of an enclosed area?"
The club is vanquished as the last 10 points of damage is dealt by the bouncers escorting the members of the crowd, the bartender waves to the group from the bar.

The bartender is smiling widely as he says "That was some good work kid, one of the most entertaining performances I have ever seen, I knew it was a good idea to let the riff-raff in the same day as open mic night", he pours himself a drink as he says "Oh right the laughing man left a message for you, but I'm not going to tell you what it is, I'll let that douche who nicked my vodka tell that when you meet him".

The bartender hands Theodore a pen like object and points him towards an open door where Edmond can still be seen "500 nuyen, just like I promised to the man".

Visrii is carried by the friendly bouncer and dropped off next to Edmond "Thunderbolts and lightning~, very very frightening~ me", he then walks away from the room.
