Frequently this is for balance reasons. Its been played like that because in forums a No Lynch every other day makes it easier to hide as mafia and do nothing but skate by and be forgotten about and not participate in the game essentially. For this game it will be more or less unnecessary since lynches can be pardoned. If it can be proved that everyone can remain active in this game then if I host another game, I'll allow it.
