It exists. I recently finished Devon Corp with a Ryperior on my team and there were times when my entire team were knocked out by the tiles but it. @Shiruu34 You can use the A button to toggle the tiles as you progress to get through the puzzle taking minimal to no damage. Lit tiles are safe. It's also advisable to carry a handful of potions and revives.

TyranitarTube's Pokemon Reborn Playthrough

I found it amusing that he thought Samson was the ground leader when Terra's name is literally the Latin word for 'Earth'. In regards to the X-Defends, I personally never use X items but believe it was fair use here. Considering Samson is the most pure brute physical strength focused character in the game that battle is probably the most logical use of them and he still struggled and lost over half his team. Additionally, since he doesn't use revives, he needs to put extra effort into avoiding fainting. Next Gym Leader: Charlotte. His current team is gonna have a lot of fun with her. XP -

Funny thing, I don't know if he plays Kingdom Hearts but there is a male Terra in that franchise. He did figure out this Terra is a woman though as someone referred to her using a female pronoun. Personally, I am looking forward to seeing him in the Glitch Realm. Dude's probably gonna go nuts being thrown back into the Gen One rules. Especially when Terra's 2 or 3 Synthetic candies are thrown in which turns the holder's type to unknown (???) so most of the time she only takes neutral damage. -

Same. I recently found out watching Dai Laughing that I missed out on at least 2 event Pokemon possibly 3 that are gone forever post-restoration which is where I'm at; the Mystery Egg, Gothita, Igglybuff and potentially Chesipin. I have to double check 7th street after I can get this damn Corrupted Pokeball Raltz shiny but I don't remember the woman being there last I was. The whole secret area with the Yureyu key got by me as well. Granted it didn't take me as long as him, it did take me some time as well to figure out what the stickers did. It's not exactly obvious nor do any of the Department Store staff NPCs explain it. This despite that I've frequently used the Wiki and various older threads here to figure out quite a bit in this game. He doesn't have the same luxury to research stuff that we do and this game is so jam packed. -

That first time shiny Type Null: I didn't think it could get anymore ridiculous than Slowking throwing the Radomus battle! I had a soft reset for it a handful of times. I commented that it's not scripted. He needs to know that most people have to work for that shit! -

There shouldn't have needed to be a second battle. Luna is easy and there is so much better prep he could have done. 1. He should have put Snubble in his team (the one from the girl who is against Common Candies) and evolved it. 2. Taught Kiki Play Rough with the move relearner. 3. Have gotten the Eevee from Chrysolia Forest and evolved it into a Slyveon. Unfortunately the Nuzlocke capture rule which he has maintained wouldn't have allowed him to capture a Carbink but that is helpful as well especially against Honchicrow. -

Ttar: *Throws away Blizzard for Karen* Ttar (shortly later): "I've got nothing to beat this thing (Bandersnatch)!" His stat battle with White Rabbit was a bit painful to watch as well, flashbacks to Belly Vs. Kiki's Hitmonlee. -
True I remember the comment about Adrienn and I believe he flirted with Charlotte during the orphanage break out.

Aya x Hardy are the only real solid ship in this game and are the embodiment of what a couple should be. Not only does he show up just to welcome a new gym leader but ironically lifts up and gives strength to the one who activates the machine for it. He also presumably provided protection for her to supplant his absence via loaning her his Pokemon. Notice when you're paired with her on Route 3 that she uses a Dusk Form Lyconroc. Being a poison user, it couldn't possibly be her own and Hardy is a rock gym leader. This following when you find him at Titania's and Amaria's home after the Terra attack and the first thing he does when he regains consciousness is worry about Aya. I also like the chemistry between Cain and the Player/Protagonist. Cain comes on a bit intimidatingly strong but he's compassionate and devoted. Although he tends to jokingly flirt with most people he meets, it seems to be a method of dealing with his fear or awkwardness and I get the sense that his interest in the Player/Protagonist is genuine. I, wonder, however if the relationship differs with a female Player Character since although it's not officially established, his frequent comments about boys suggests he's gay not bi (I'm a male character if the previous sentence didn't clarify that enough).

That was Corey or a Corey impostor? It didn't look like him. Thanx for this thread @Goomymaestro and @wcv for the 411. I hadn't thought anything of it. I thought it was a new character we're supposed to officially meet later.

I'm in Devon Corp as well and had to end up using this video: One advised adjustment to his approach is to press A to toggle the tiles as you progress. Lit tiles are safe and won't zap you while you're standing on them allowing you the ability to change the tile you're aiming for next safely. His approach, to fill your team with Pokemon that are immune to the electricity such as Ground types or those who have Volt Absorb or Lightning Rod isn't bad though as you'll also need ground types for the Arclight battle. I've read that it's impossible to black out the tiles, that once you're down to your last Pokemon the damage stops regardless of what type it is but this has been refuted.

Ah. I see. I am aware of who Christopher Robin is, I just wasn't picking up on the metaphor. Nice. Luna is one of the easiest gym leaders in the game, she and Florinia are the only ones I've beaten in one go so I swear if he blacks out to her... -

Bennett is more than a loser, he's a selfish naive brat and has now gone full on creep. As for the metaphor, I'm not sure I get the Christopher Robin reference. He could go all the way back to Reborn City, get the house key and use the move re-learner in the Onix ward to teach Kiki Play Rough but I doubt he'd want to. -
Ah, thanx for the info.

Well shit, how did I not come up with that? A Misty Terrain Sylveon is one of my general VIPs. Rain Dance/Earthquake/Dive Quagsire was my MVP for Charlotte with support from Fake Out/Trick Room Meowstic though I wasn't able to get Trick Room in before Meowstic went down and I don't know if it's a glitch or not that prevented Prankster from allowing it to go first. I also used Lyconroc to set up Stealth Rocks. Surf Swanna took care of Typhlosion and Darmanintan, Earthquake one shot both Ninetales and Delfox and Dive finished Rotom. Side note: I love your Donphan's name. Big Fleetwood Mac fan.

TyranitarTube's Pokemon Reborn Playthrough

He at least knows how to recognize it if he read my comment on the previous episode (episode 16). I explained vaguely as not to spoil that it's marked by Cain questioning the player about moving on because "we might not be able to go back for a while" and warned him that some of the quests and encounters he still hasn't done (i.e The Mystery Egg) will be gone forever after the point of no return. Buuuuut the likelihood that he read it is admittedly pretty slim. As he finished the Sanctum in one episode, if he continues at that pace, he'll probably be there in the next two or three. -

Well with the exception of Gen two, 8 badges is the mainstream but I concur. As he's met at least 6 characters he still hasn't battled but have bluntly identified themselves or been bluntly identified by another as gym leaders (Amaria, Luna, Charlotte, Hardy, Adrienn and Saphira, not to mention he's got his Fury Badge to supplement and I believe Victoria had mentioned Samson by name when she said she'd notify Ame to get him set up after Kiki's death), to call 8 badges an "end game" it's rather obvious that he's still under halfway albeit just barely. Unless he was talking about the arc beyond the Agate checkpoint. He did briefly talk about it here with a 'new saga' type of reference and he seems to understand that it will lock him out of his current area range. -

Oh I so hope he finishes the Type:Null quest. He's gonna love it. I thought it was brilliant myself, I totally got Adam vibes from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In fact for that reason, I had to name it Adam. -

I appreciate those details. I've not played Rejuv yet, though I just downloaded it a bit ago. I definitely would love to see him play Rejuv, just under the right circumstances. -

I'm ever so grateful that even the official games have gotten rid of the HMs. This one sounds similar to that which Insurgence uses. Ex. There is an 'Instant Lapras', a Sun/Moon-esque ride to function as Surf, a Pika Taxi to function as Fly which can later be upgraded to function as the Lati Soar in ORAS and Scuba Gear to function as Dive. The Strength and Rock Smash over world functions are actually fulfilled by common moves naturally learned such as Bulk Up or Bulldoze functioning as Strength and Double Kick functioning as Rock Smash. I appreciate Reborn's system that allows one to overwrite the HM moves by downgrading them to an in-between category instead of the HM category just as well. As long as I'm not stuck with them in my Pokemon movesets I'm happy. Unfortunately, I never even owned a Game Cube. I wanted one badly but couldn't manage to badger it out my mom as I did my PS2 and N64. I was able to play Game Cube games at my best friend's house but she never had the Colosseums, the games we played were the Mario Parties and Smash Bros Melee. I've heard of the Shadow Pokemon though, and a Youtuber called PokeTips includes shadow sprites in his randomizes. They're so badass! I've also read that the relationship points in Rejuvenation are a lot more important than in Reborn because they actually represent how much the characters trust you which if true would make things a lot more interesting. A little late here but there have been like 5 new responses to this thread since I started composing this. I concur with this concern. Personally, I sometimes need stop and take time to relax after just one gym or boss battle in Reborn alone, that's how stressful this game is even without rules or an audience, hence the level of pressure we'd be putting on him to go from one entire intense game to another would be borderline abusive. That aside, in addition, from what I'm reading here, apparently Rejuv isn't even half as complete as Reborn and we wouldn't want any more hiatuses than necessary in between development updates. Not to mention the time that would allow for him to forget about the game. -
FYI Ice Stones can be purchased on the 9th floor of the Obsidia Department Store.

Charlotte is difficult, pls help!
Lucifer Morningstar replied to The8BitzySpider's topic in Reborn City
Yes you can. They're available on route 2, albeit they are a 4% encounter. I used a Lyconroc to set up Stealth Rocks against Charlotte. -
Here is a visual of what is described in the above IF you're playing on Windows 10:
