I feel you bro. Radomus was among my hardest as well, I had to spend time and multiple trips back and forth to Reborn City on not one but TWO happiness evolutions for that battle and I loath happiness evolution. Slowking throwing that battle was just unreal! I certainly hope so. I still need to play Rejuvenation myself. Does one need to complete through ep 18 of Reborn to understand it? It's a sequel is it not? -

Not to mention folks just want to get on with the game/plot, not spend hours "beating around the bush" so to speak with a puzzle. Admittedly, I'm speaking here as someone who does make an honest attempt at them but frustrates easily. The Vanhanen Castle one is the one exception, not to just for me but to the entire perception that using a guide is lazy since for one without any knowledge/understanding of chess, the option to figure it out oneself does not exist. I even attempted to get an explanation from Elias but still didn't understand. Ttar was able to do it regardless of how long it took him because he seemed to have at least a basic understanding of chess. Now taking bets on how long it takes him to figure out that he needs to talk to Archer to access 7th Street and then what to do to on 7th Street to trigger the event not counting leisure exploration (I actually had to Google the latter myself). -

Was that battle for real? Was that a strategy he used right there?! O_O Frick, the length of time it took for Slowking to use Trick Room, I'm telling you The Peeko rigs these games for him! As for the puzzle, I had to use a YT video for this one. I've never played chess in my life, I don't know a thing about it. -

Agreed, the double battles require quite precise strategy which is Ttar's weakness. -

Or Quick Claw Perish Song Kriketune. That Sand Attack had to be ridiculous luck, remember when he tried to Sand Attack spam ZEL's Umbreon, I believe it was in the PULSE Muk battle, with no successful accuracy loss and shouting "WHY ARE YOU STILL HITTING!" Still this dude does tend to have luck with Sand Attack that is usually exclusive to the AI in my experience. He made it work with Garchomp as well. My theory is that The Peeko rigs the games for him. I'm looking quite forward to how he's gonna handle the Radomus battle no doubt without stopping Trick Room. Slowking in particular is pretty damn nasty with Trick Room active. I foiled it with a Fake Out and Taunt Alolan Persian. Yes this is a gamble with his load of fighting moves but perhaps some of Ttar's luck rubbed off on me as he preferred to spam Strength on me and my Alolan Persian was able to survive one enabling it to be able to Taunt Slowking before going down. -

So the roulette now only occurs when he blacks out? That's a lot better because it doesn't kill off Pokemon consistently and inevitably but what is this "weakest link" bit? That seems rather subjective to me. I was glad that he checked out the dialogue produced when siding with El, I was never even leaning towards him but was curious. Man I wonder if he would have considered sticking with El if he knew winning the Ditteus battle would've been optional? -

Assuming he knows of the Notradamous, if the line: "I should know better than to ask a player character with no dialogue" doesn't clue him in, then probably not. That and Cain's WTF reaction got a laugh out of me, actually. -

He could see from the 16th century all the way to the 22nd? Wow. That would make this man the most powerful seer there's ever been. It's no wonder he's so famous. -

Ah, I hadn't caught that but there are several complaints in the comments that he's still basically Nuzlocking because the only Nuzlocke rule he's eliminated is that losing a battle means game over and that he's actually doing himself more damage with the roulette because it kills off Pokemon inevitably and steadily. He really does need to allow himself more freedom if he's going to survive the more difficult arcs he'll be facing in the near future (ie: Charlotte, Blake, Glitch World and the raid on Amaria's and Titania's house, just finished the latter myself and that chain of double battles is a bit of a nightmare). I don't know what Nostradamus is but I thought Mad Hatter as well. Indeed he fits well with Luna's Alice in Wonderland theme. As does Gossip Gardevior, she's very Cheshire Cat like. -

Agreed, that El was the true brain washing master and had brain washed Gardevior was my original theory. I never trusted Dittovior's Radmous trash talking. It's a bit understandable considering the hat he's wearing when first encountered. It sorta looks like long hair. -
I very much like the way you've put it. Now my choice is 100% clear. I am a woman of truth. Reshiram it is.

I didn't get the TM either so it was fortunate I caught a Quagsire on Azurine Island desperate for water types for the Aster/Eclipse battle. Unfortunately the pond on route 4 outside Calcenon City doesn't allow fishing though supposedly it once did and Finneon/Lumineon could be captured but you might have had to go all the way back to the circus to get Rain Dance on them from the move relearner. If you can't use Rain Dance, then I'm not sure where to steer you. Sorry. -
Yes, if you don't battle Connal at Yureyu it's: -1 Cain, -1 Heather +1 Connal There is a relationship points list here: I am now a bit torn at the choice of whether or not to battle Taka at the Water Plant. I'm not actually there quite yet, I still have to solve a puzzle or two after defeating PULSE Swalot but have been researching the choice throughout the entire event.

*shrug*, why does he call Solaris Samuel-aloris? Dude's just on something I think. That image is great BTW, ironic for me since I just beat Terra yesterday, so had to battle Gen One Mewtwo which I never knew was so damn hard without the Dark type because I always used the Master Ball so really smart experience right there. -

Rain Dance is the secret password. To avoid the burning field which raises her existing Super Heated field boost and does burn damage to non-fire Pokemon every turn. Use Meowstic to Fake Out Typhlosion (who would otherwise use Eruption to burn the field) then use Rain Dance. Personally, I had planned to also have Meowstic use Trick Room because she's very fast but it went down before it had a chance. Still I came out victorious. At this point, whether you are able to get in Trick Room or not, you can sweep her with Surf and Earthquake. I'd favor Earthquake as the Super-Heated Field will still cut a bit of Water's Power even with Rain Dance helping it whereas Earthquake will one shot her. Save Surf for Rotom who has Levitate so is immune to Earthquake. I'd go with Quagsire for your Earthquake user since Mamoswine won't resist fire as well being part Ice. FYI, my Quagsire was also my Rain Dance user. I've read that Flash Fire Pokemon are also good for this battle since they're immune to fire moves but you'd have to be careful of Darmanitan in that case as it knows Rock Slide. I also set up Stealth Rocks with Lyconroc which halves Volcarona on it's own. On another note, I'm wondering how her Typhlosion knows Eruption at least 20 levels early. Typhlosion doesn't learn Eruption until level 88 I believe Serebii said. Does the move re-learner offer it? Is there a TM (I know it's not the TM she gives you but *shrug*)? She didn't use at least 20 common candies did she? That's ridiculous. -

For sure. I'm so stoked! One must be extra careful with that scene. El comes across as a hero and Radomus a dick if you're not paying enough attention. I was accidentally spoiled while researching the choice but I was suspicious of Dittevior to begin with. The anti-Radomus tude felt a bit abrupt. I'm also interested in hearing how he pronounces Adrienn's pronouns, as I have no idea so have just read them as 'they'. -

I can verify this. When I battled Terra yesterday, she never sent in her Garchomp, which seems to be her ace, last, it took me about 3 resets but it always came out third and in my successful round, it was Palosand that came last (BTW, It's name, GIVE SANDY feels a bit foreshadowing since the name Sandy is listed in the gym leaders roster on the Wiki, at first I thought this person was the Reserve Ground Leader but Terra gives you the Gravity Badge). I know he's still quite a ways from it, but I just battled PULSE Swalot and couldn't help but think about how much Ttar is gonna love that. Belly's coming back for revenge! On the Nyu subject, I never even found the Pikachu house. That's now on my to-do list for when I regain access to route 1 and Reborn City. -

Exactly. I'm convinced it's not possible for AI to be absolutely flawless. I haven't played Gen 8 yet myself. My birthday was a bust so now I'm counting on Christmas to save me the money, but I'll have one or the other in January either way. Admittedly, so far I haven't been impressed with what I've heard but I still want to give it a shot. Gen 7, other than Totem Vikavolt which was a bit like a Reborn battle for me, including with my having barely won it with one Pokemon standing, I concur was pretty easy. One of the smartest mechanics in Reborn which is the core problem in the Maintreams is the obedience caps. The freedom to over level is the main thing that makes the Mainstreams easy even if you eliminate the Z-moves and this Dynamax thing. It's more than just the difficultly level, but the fact that it has a more adult oriented plot and the interactive/choose your own adventure aspect that keeps me active in this game. I use guides for the gym leaders and other bosses and still tend to be surprised. Most of the time the plans and prep I go in with won't work out as I imagine. Perfect example just happened: FREAKING GLITCH WORLD MEWTWO, WITH GEN 1 RULES! -

LOL, I'll bet she did. In all seriousness, over the years, even the mainstream games had AI issues. I'm reminded of the following discussion on another forum regarding the first generation AI's PP usage seeming to be unlimited and that it didn't compartmentalize damaging moves from stat moves when prioritizing super effective moves. http://www.psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=21424 This thread specifically discusses how Sabrina's Alakazam spammed Recover against a Kadabra. -

If as suggested the ace rule is specific to gym leaders than it wouldn't apply to Cain. Even without switching he doesn't always send out Nidoking last with me either. In the Vanhanen Castle battle Primarina was last, Nidoking was second to last. Though admittedly, I don't think Fern has ever failed to send out Decidueye last. Speaking of Vanhanen Castle, it's Ttar's next destination. Looking forward to that. -

That's what I figured. This would then be the reason Swellow didn't U-turn into Clefable despite it's type advantage to Mightyena. However, I double checked, Swellow was only Noel's second Pokemon after Porygon Z which means the U-Turn should have gone into Bewear, so this glitch did indeed occur. -

Though I save before every boss battle and reset just before my last Pokemon goes down when I lose, everything I read agrees with Dream, that it's siding with Radomous which requires you to win the Ditteus battle. Interesting, but Noel has just two Pokemon which type-advantage Mightyena; Bewear and Clefable but Clefable is always last (one thing I've noticed with the reset method I mentioned above is that a trainer's signature/highest level Pokemon almost ALWAYS goes last regardless of how many times the battle is reset and/or how you alter it) and hadn't Ttar already taken out Bewear? -

It's primarily Cinccino and Clafable that are pretty damn nasty (and I was NOT expecting that at all of Cinccino, it's usually a shit Pokemon in my experience). The rest of his team were fodder for me. Both are fast, - Cinccino wrecks with Bullet Seed of all moves and he'll probably need to watch out for Rock Blast too. - While Clafable's Magic Guard shouldn't be a huge issue for him since he doesn't use poisoning or burning moves though I'm not sure what would happen if he tried to freeze it with Karen, it's Moonblast is it's own wrecking ball. With the teams he's been using, I doubt he'll have my experience with the rest, Noel's fodder might be a problem for him as well. That is a bit of a concern considering his response to Solaris and if he picks Rademous which I can see him doing, it WILL NOT an optional win. Since, however, he is no longer Nuzlocking and as you've pointed out, he's finished with Sword/Shield not to mention his determination with Solaris, I feel its a safe bet that he'll figure it out and continue. Even if he were to go into it aware of the entire choice tree (though that's doubtful), I don't see him being the type to pick El solely for convenience/the easy out.
