  1. Torchic with speed boost is by far the best starter in reborn and rejuvenation, fire and fighting is a great type, with awesome level up moves. Water starters will be at a disadvantage at the start of the game being weak to the first two gyms, but they can all be used. I wouldn't reccomend using totodile as the only STAB water move it gets is Water Gun untill Aqua Tail at like level 63. (Seriously ik, I used one on my first playthrough) The snivy line with the contrary ability is decent, but leaf storm is gotten too late to fully take advantage of it All the starters will each do good. If you're more of a defensive player, Chikorita isnt bad, as you get both screen moves by level up Also keep in mind that all starters are available as events later on, but you wont get these till wayyy later so if you want to use multiple starters on your team you can do that
  2. Pokemon will continue to gain exp after hitting the cap, but if they go over the level cap, they will continue to obey you for the rest of the battle
  3. Decided to move this to major/fatal bugs from minor bugs, because it is stopping story progression So I have an error When going back to the top of the pyramid, the sky view, right before the gym, the game has an error I can't upload the image but the error says "Script 'Game_Event_' line 194: ArgumentError occurred, comparison of String with 118 failed I re downloaded the game, went back a save, and re patched the game only to have this error occur Game.rxdata
  4. Update downloaded a fresh zip of the game, still not working
  5. So I have an error When going back to the top of the pyramid, the game has an error I can't upload the image but the error says "Script 'Game_Event_' line 194: ArgumentError ooccurred, comparison of String with 118 failed
  6. Through them game there isnt a way to see what is completed and what isnt completed This is a playlist that shows the location of a lot of event pokemon, some are outdated and the updated videos are in the description If It gets to the point were its very disorienting, it may not be a bad idea to just start a new game on Episode 18.3 as a lot had changed
  7. Same thing happened to me If you go to the rejuvenation v12 download there is a patch named patch 2 (from 8/1/19) After that, unzip the file and there is a text document in it teling you how to patch the game
  8. Are you sure u need a doll? I was able to get a Natu from the pole before the events of 7th Street. All i remember is that the weather was windy
  9. 1. Greninja With Protean, effectively giving me STAB on any move, and the diverse move set allows it to help a lot. Like Souta, using smack down on his lead bought the field to a mountain top making the battle a lot easier 2. Alolan Raichu The massive special attack and speed make it a great revenge killer, and always went I'm when something had low hp and needed to be killed. After a couple nasty plots, anything that touched the field was dead with a psychic or a thunderbolt, and if I needed to cripple a pokemons speed, thunderwave was the option 3. Torkal, while it wasn't a main stay on my team, it was crucial in two battles, the bug and grass gyms. Each these battles start with rain, so bringing the sun changed it to a rainbow field which allowed my actual fire type, flareon, to kill anything in those battles without worrying about rain reducing my damage Finally I know this thread is about rejuvenation, but my Shiny Haxorus from reborn (who I was lucky enough to be able to get from the mystery egg) was absolutely kick ass, dragons dance (or swords dance) pretty much allowed me to kill most things in 1 turn
  10. "Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best." --Karen of the Johto Elite 4 Idk just thought this fit
  11. Early game team members aren't bad, most of my team was caught early game (I do that in most pokemon games Core, and fan games) I ended up starting with Froakie Spearow Fomantis can both be caught in Gearen City, and they both help out a lot. Pichu, Now an Alolan-Raichu has been a great team member due to its high special attack and speed, and its what help me kill Adams Mega-Aerodactyl, although it was very hard to train when it Was a Pichu/Pikachu Eevee can be gotten relatively early too (Before gym 2, but I didn't do the battle till after it.) And eevee is eevee, meaning its amazing, i evolved mine into Flareon and it has helped a lot, especially in the grass and bug gyms (I caught a torkal with drought to get rid of the rain) I did have one other Team member, Heracross, but its not obtained till a little bit into the game They give you a lot of Early game options but it dosent make the game incredibly easy, I still had a hard time with some battles, the Ghost, and Normal Gym gave me some trouble in the early game, and I couldn't beat the Electric gym to save my life in the mid game, I also struggled a lot with Adam, before getting the perfect strategy for beating him. I will admit some of these struggles is because I don't like replacing team members, I like getting members and rolling with them for the rest of the game, which worked in both Rejuvenation, and Reborn
  12. I have a couple questions about item/pokemon locations right now I'm in Celeste City and I am about to take on the second gym Does anyone know where the leaf stone it, I need it to evolve my pansage Where do I evolve magneton Are dratini, and starly available? If so where are they Thanks for your help
  13. ahh sorry man, did not realize this was rejuvenation
  14. Fennekin can be found in the Water Treatment center, its like the room with the electrode, you need one to use a move like discharge, or just do it yourself and the power will turn on then you can get it.
  15. If you forget the events of the story and need a recap on that, youtuber Lord Wallace made a great video on it Its up the episode 17 though, and the events of 16 end after the Adrienn Battle so thats where I would reccomend stopping if you don't want to be spoiled
  16. I believe you start at a Volcano Top field, If you have a pokemon with eruption do what Zetta did at Valor Mountain and use eruption, its killer on this field, if not that maybe try using dig to make it a lava cave then from there a surf will but out the fire making it a cave field allowing for even more possibilities, take a look at your field effect manual for ways to change the field from there. If u keep it as a cave, a nice rock type with something like Rock slide might help, rain dance is also helpful, but i dont know where the TM for that is, as for dig that TM could be found in a separate area in Goldenleaf Town in the northeast just beyond a patch of grass, I'm sure there is a better guide for finding dig, but once you get to the separate area it shouldn't be too hard to find
  17. Thanks Guys, luckily there still is a second way for me to get the Heracronite, it will take a little longer, but I'm almost done with V12, and looks like we got some time until V13 so its not that big of a deal, I just hope the Mega-Z Ring is in the next version
  18. Hello, so I'm having a problem with the hidden library quest line, when I go to the second one it says I can't do it, does anyone know when this quest becomes available again, or if it becomes available at all For anyone wondering I just started chapter 14, and beat Adam if that helps
  19. I would try loading an old save, that might work To do that use this link here https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/save/
  20. So this actually occurs when you black out to the Rift Garbodorr, as if you beat it first try this dosent happen. I don't know why this happens but it does. To fix this what you need to do is go back a save to before the Rift battle(Maybe a save after you beat the first one), and save before the battle, and reset if you lose so this dosen't occur https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/save/ I know this says reborn but it works the same way for rejuvenation Edit: Sorry didnt see that your back ups arent working unfortunatley I cant help u then
  21. So my recomendation for you is to load an old save file https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/save/ Go back as many saves as you need What u have to do is take the file "Game" out of the saved games folder and name one of the other files "Game" then it should load up with that old save Also I know this is a tutorial for reborn, but the way it works in Rejuvenation is the same way it works in Reborn Edit: This may also give u chance to go back and train up some of your pokemon for the battle Second Edit: This was posted in wrong section, as this would have been better to post in a thread just about bug reporting
  22. Dont know a specific stratagey to use, but the Mega-Z Ring Quest is now open to you, so you have any pokemon that could potentially mega evolve or use a Z-move it could prove helpful in the battle
  23. Hello Pokemon Reborn Forums, I have a questions that will hopefully start a nice discussion thread What is your favorite moment in Pokemon Reborn or Rejuvenation and why. This can a be a specific battle, story moment, a memorey that you have with the game, or just anything overall. I just want to see f theres a specific moment that a lot of people enjoyed. Hell, if you want to you can even list some of your favorite moments. Thanks
  24. V13 being the end of act 2 would be cool, it would give them the final 3 version (and also likely the longest versions) to do a true ending story climax. I loved the end of Rejuvenation act 1 with the climatic battles a top Valor Mountain, and they were hard, which was nice because i found rejuvenation to be easier then reborn. So if the finale of act 2, and all of act 3 could be reborn level difficult, i think it would make the game just that much better
