Even though it seems like an interesting idea, fighting your own pokemon wouldn't make sense. How would players be able to strategize, if every team varies between save files? It is basically a random battle, i think you would use someone's pokemon, and if you're forced to use those, then i don't see (gameplay wise) how you should be able to win. Reborn is based around playing with the tools the game gives you, but, if those tools are suppressed, then the game becomes plain old artificial difficulty

Funny enough I've ALWAYS struggled with Hardy's gym, that i had to come up with ridiculous strategies to win. On the other side, people say that Corey's battle is sooo hard, but in my seven playtroughs, I've never broke a sweat with him...

I completely agree with this. You have many tools to use at this point, and each one of those counter something, so, by that logic, she wouldn´t have any mon´s whatsoever

Obviously expect her Dragonite, but also a Mega Charizard. Lore wise, it would make sense that she would use something from her mom, since i think you can get Charizard´s mega stone in the secret room in Calcenon Gym. Tyrantrum is also a really good choice, as someone said above, it has monstous attack, and can take advantage of both the cave and the dragon´s den fields. Haxorus, Kommo-o and even Druddigon are plausible choices, but Noivern seems nice for her team, too
