    I usually just use whatever I feel like, with the sole rule being that I'm only allowed one overlapping Type across the team- swampert and camerupt (Ground), crobat and roserade (Poison), and so on. Reborn and Rejuvenation are unique in that I've actually had to rotate a few team members as time went on, but what can you do? I did have one Black 2 run where all the pokemon shared a Type with two others, so that they created a loop together, which proved to be pretty fun. Lucario ->Steel ->Probopass ->Rock -> Crustle ->Bug ->Scolipede ->Poison ->Roserade ->Grass ->Virizion ->Fighting ->Lucario

    Presumably they're both considered to be incredibly powerful moves and Jan would like to keep the game at an actual challenge level. We aren't allowed to have nice things~!

    Is your mamoswine/piloswine/swinub the female one? If not, then you're going to get stuck with snowshrews up the wazoo due to the way basic breeding works. Similarly, your sandslash has to actually know the move itself to be able to pass it down (though I'm not sure if you have this step already done or not).

    According to Serebii, Roost is a Lv. 1 move for mantine this generation. This means that you are never going to learn it by level up. You can have it learn the move through the Move Tutor in Sheridan, however.

    You do get one of those hidden 'fate' points (I forgot what they're actually called) for beating her as well, just like the previous bosses 'unbeatable' bosses (Rift Gyarados and Shadow Mewtwo). That certainly has no impact on the game now, but is almost certainly going to play some sort of role at the end of the game by virtue of even existing.

    Heartgold and Soulsilver don't have pokemon from Gens. 5-7. ...That's the only argument and I can actually make, seeing as I haven't played those games myself. *Shrug* Anyway, welcome to these treacherous, opinion-filled lands we call the Reborn Evolved Forums!     Considering that Venam specifically states that you can use the Time Crystals (or whatever they're actually called) as shortcuts when you return to Gearen that way, I'm more inclined to believe that it's an intentional workaround. Using them to cheat the GDC train station of cash, on the other hand... I'll probably pick up the Surf one when I get around to hitting up the shop. I'm kinda lacking in Water Typed team members, and none of my main team are pokemon that can learn it anyway (like nidoking and silvally), so I frequently find myself renting out a team spot for the sake of travel.

    The Rejuvenation page in the 'Other Games' tab at the top of the forums hasn't been updated yet, so you'd've gotten V9 off of that one. You can update to V10 here- once you've gotten a jackpot starter in your current Version, of course!

    Which Version are you trying this in? The Jackpot Starters were completely removed from the game in V10, so trying there is a complete waste of time. Though I've heard that the odds weren't exactly great in the earlier Versions either, so...

    It's in the building on the far end of Route 9 (the autumnal one). The room itself is on the left side of said building. (Note that the Route is only accessible from the GDC train station, and costs a pretty penny to do so)

    Well, pichu's the reward for the 'Fight Me Again!' quest in Sheridan in V9, so it's still possible for you to get it if you haven't updated yet. Hopefully that's an option for you.

    The official Terrain Extender only applies to Grassy, Misty, Electric, and Psychic Terrain, but... the Reborn-exclusive Amplifield Rock applies to all temporary field changes. This includes the Pledge Terrains, Glitching out the world with double Conversions, increasing Gravity in the New World Field, simply using Topsy-Turvy... It's quite the extensive list, really!

    Um, you can't have a Focus Sash by that point in the game without Debug Mode (which is, of course, not in the base game). The good ol' FEAR strategy doesn't work because it isn't available yet! Edit: Actually, it doesn't matter whether you have a Focus Sash or not- Yveltal would ruin FEAR anyway because Decimation's a Priority move now, meaning that it will outspeed your Quick Attack!

    I know that in V9, the whismur event was only available before Zetta Ruins A Perfectly Good Date Forest(tm), so I can't help but think that it's still the case now. I'm sure it's frustrating for more than a few people.

    Believe me, it's been asked a lot- even before V10 dropped! Sadly, Own Tempo rockruff aren't available in the current version, and thus, neither is lucandusk. I don't know if the patch changed it, but lycandusk didn't even have a shiny sprite in the folders when V10 first released, so... yeah. Maybe next Version?
