I took some time to count the total number of pages of The Tale Of a Firehead on Word last night. With Episode 13 on the list, we’re exactly at 225 pages! This is massive, I would have never expected this story to take us that far!

That's what I thought too. But since I take my time to occasionally correct some grammatical mistakes when I see it, I don't want to do it once and for all. At least, not for the moment. It will certainly be more the case when the last chapter of the Departure Arc (N°13) will be out. We both have to preserve our hard work anyway

Good day everyone! I'm glad to announce that the progress concerning the storyline of The Tale Of a Firehead Episode 13 has finally reached 100%. It took me a while to structure my writings, but we're almost there now. I've been busy with numerous things like searching for an internship or polishing my knowledge about some web languages, so it was a bit tedious for me to find the good timing to pursue the story. But since writing is something I really like to do, it was crucial for me to continue, let alone the fact that it's the only way for me to practice English efficiently. By the way, I would have never expected how great my progress would be since I registered on this forum. I don't have any regrets about it, I would even say that it's among the best and most satisfying decisions I took in my life. Episode number 13 will be a great one, I hope you'll enjoy it at least as much as me when I wrote it :^)
See you next time, and don't forget. Stay tuned~

These days, I feel sun-starved. Short days, dark skies, cold temperatures are part of my daily routine, let alone boring repetitive news. Sometimes, I wish all this could stop just for a week. But life is life, and I'm certainly not the only one to think so.

According to my own experience, the hardest thing to do when you’re writing a story is definitely keeping control of your mind without losing yourself in daring details or trying something out of context. Am I the only one to think so?

I tend to agree with 2 myself. Being currently into a writing kind of project on my own, I often find myself not writing about it for a while, only deciding to write whenever an idea about it suddently pops that can advance the story, the characters or even the worldbuilding. Trying to force creation by imposing yourself to write can end up being actually not productive at all. But when I do have an idea, what follows after can come extremely naturally, and it's only after I eventually stop that I watch what I wrote and give appropriate modifications.
I don't know about others, but for me, this kind of "reflex" and "automatic" writing, and not thinking about what you write too much initially, suits me the best.

Wow! I just realized it’s gonna be one year since I started to write The Tale of a Firehead! Time is running way too fast!

I don’t know about you, but in my case, I’ve never been very effective under pressure.

As I promised, the spriteset as well as the identity of the mystery character have been revealed. Let's shut the suspense. I want you to meet Dounia Pastor, the second OC of my personal creation. Just like Jacques Besson, she will have a special role to play in The Tale of a Firehead
