This isn't a bug, it's basically the Ghost Girl from XY.

So, when playing as Ana during the Chrisola Mansion arc, you get stuck as Marianette after changing sprites in the pool area.

For some reason, the game isn't pulling data from Game.rxdata anymore, but instead the most recent backup. This is really annoying as I have a few saves I'm working on, including my main save. As of now, I can only access my solo run save, as that's the post recent backup.

When did Jan give out the V9 PBS? Also, Toxapex is a good option, as Baneful Bunker can't fail when used in succession if Baneful Bunker hadn't been fixed as of v10 .

So it seems there's a chance for the game to soft lock here as well. Watch out for the copy pasting, I found a quick fix. Going from the top works fine, but double check your events when you do that. My programming professors yells at me half the time for it.

If you really wanted to have a certain team member, you'd need to give yourself that Pokemon using RMXP, which is the reason why Jan gave us the "\Data" folder, encouraging mono runs and the like. But like @Zindril said, you should just go at it.

Now, I know that we can't actually obtain HM Fly, but I managed to get the Golden Wings very grind. When I click on them, the only option it gives me is "Cancel." How do I use them then?

Regarding my comment, the battle brings you back here, and this is the last line. The screen goes full black afterwards and soft locks.

Kind of a large bug, losing against Melanie I swear that Krookodile is bullshit causes you to teleport back to the S.S. Paradise, going through the beginning dialogue of the event. It gets to that screen fade where Amber tackles Melia, then stays pitch black. EDIT: Losing to Kenneth, my bad.

Ohh, that explains it. But why wouldn't make it so you just walk up to them and talk? What you did here isn't exactly the best idea, no offense.

This might have been asked before, but i'm not scrolling through 37 pages to find the answer. The 2nd gym says that the gym leader is "out to lunch." I assumed this meant the cafe, and these were the only special sprites in there. But talking to them does nothing, so is the gym leader somewhere else, or is it bugged?

So, I just finished V9, it was kind of a cool story so far, but a major cliffhanger after announcing all the protagonists are going to be a part of the tourney is kind of disappointing. I'd honestly say lower the shiny odds a bit, I've found a lot of shinies tbh. Few bugs here and there, such as Blacksteeple Castle messing with the character sprite, some typos, etc. Also, in the past, why does Madame X care if we die? I mean I understand why Konan or whatever his name is is saved by Madame X, he's probably one of the 4 of the Dark Prophecy. Madame X should probably be replaced by Crescent in that one part. It's also a little disappointing how Nim/Lorna has no relation to the story as of V9. Now, a talk about the Gym Leaders and Level Cap. The Level Cap is extremely annoying, especially when your only flying type is a Swoobat to combat Crowli. And then you can't even overlevel to combat it ;-; And then it's annoying as hell when the Gym Leaders on Normal Mode have levels equal to level cap, with their weaknesses being restricted by the terrain, like the stupid Psychic terrain blocking all Dark-type moves. At least raise the level cap like 5 levels :/

Kyogre? I must have skipped that, as I just finished V9, and no mention of Kyogre was made.

Finally found it, I somehow skipped over this like 3 times:

I was using RPG Maker XP, because I already had it, and I wanted to figure out where to go. Unfortunately, I tried looking on yt first, but none of them are the updated V9 Version. Only person I could find was shofu, but he's a lot behind.

Go north as far as you can, you should see a panel with 2 bridges on both sides. Take the one on the right, and keep going down until you can't. There should be another bridge, take that, and enter the doorway. Go down the stairs in the next room, go east, and then just keep going north until you reach the next town. There are more panels, but you can't get to them at the point you're at in the game. Make sure you go back to where Melia's bag is to grab the room key, so you can go to her room in the lab and get the Exp. Share.

I'm in the same spot as lenny420. I've been looking into the map for the past 30 minutes and I can't find anything. Those trees won't do anything until about 6 more sub-events. If you remember anything else, could you say it?
