  1. Don't have a signature mon yet. However in every (not all) pokemon game including fan games, my one priority is there always must be a water type or a mon with water type moves. This beauty seems to always take the spot. My favorite water type.
  2. My favorite character... is my mate Hardy. I just like him a lot. Cain too, because of his singing.
  3. ZEL - Will stay with Team Meteor. He probably blames us for losing Eve and Lumi. Taka - On the inside he's a good guy and with the reshiram path, I think he got his redemption. On Zekrom route, I believe he will repay us for battling him in WTC. Sirius - Sirius.. is enigmatic. I think he has a more, personal motive for why he is doing the things he is doing. Yet, maybe there is no redemption for him. I just see him as a villian, plain and simple. Solaris - 50/50 He has good intentions and probably a good heart, but he is selfish. Lin - ...................... Cal - Redeemed. Aster & Eclipse - Aster x Eclipse = Redeemed Terra - We WILL see Terra again. That can't be the last of her. She is the most bizzaro character out there. I will RAGE if we don't get answers. Dr. Sigmund - I think not. He will pay the price for the sins he committed with his ECT patients, especially the Belrose family. Blake - It all depends on Cal. Fern - Fern... just kill this boy. Of course I joke. Fern the little brat that he is (especially when he called Corey dumb for committing suicide) I feel that he'll be good in the end. Florinia may have an impact on his nearing climax. El - His loyalty rest on Arceus, so it is in Arceus' will it depends. Bennett - Can't say. I know he's a good boy but it will fall upon Luna. His love for her is unwavering and it will determine his fate.
  4. Um, if this hasn't been said before, I will say it now. The best music in Reborn is undoubtedly, the indoor gym music. The title, To Greater Heights by GlitchxCity. Search it, play it, loop it, respect it.

It sounds like the perfect Gym theme.

  5. I was actually informed just now that Azurill is in fact, a normal/fairy type. All along I thought it was a water/fairy type. When did this happen.

    1. Wolfox

      Wolfox

well, for some reason I can not understand, Azurill was always a normal type... let me repeat that: Azurill, the blue ball that evolves into a water bunny, has always been a normal type... let's just be happy it wasn't normal fighting or normal dark and it at least kept one typing when evolving...

Not that it matters though, since Azurill is of no use in battle, so all you try when you have one is get it to evolve...

  6. Happy New Year to everyone here in the forums!

  7. I think a great touch for Reborn's Gym Leaders is that if there aces were shinies. Some leaders have them (Like Shade's Mimikyu) and I thought why not all of them? I think it would suit there aces more, considering it is their strongest mon. It would make their aces more emphasized and intimidating to battle in my opinion.

I think while it might be cool, it wouldn't really fit with the theme of shinies in general. they're random, they're rare, having them be on each team predictably/consistently like that would kinda take away from that, and also not make a huge amount of sense canonically.

I kinda have this impression that leaders are "special" trainers and their aces are their "special" pokemon. So while it would stray away from the theme of shinies in general, I think leaders get a pass from that considering what their title holds for them. Especially in Reborn where shinies are close to common, I think it suits perfectly. But yeah maybe on the canon side, it would be questionable.

  8. For a more blissful playthrough, there is a mod that could help so that you may no longer need a HM slave. Take a look here.
  9. A good rom hack would be Pokemon Gaia, possibly the best. It's not complete yet but has a lot of content with up to 6 gyms. Gen 6 contents are implemented (includes fairy type and mega evolution) and the graphics are A MA ZING.
  10. Give Mamoswine Ice Shard and Ludicolo Nature Power. @Arararagi Koyomi I was kinda enjoying the color thing..
  11. Metagross might be the first pseudo you will obtain then Goodra, followed by Garchomp. None of those TM's are available I presume.
  12. I recall a Lotad can be obtained at the Pier in Coral Ward when it is raining. You need to give it PokeSnax.
  13. My bad I remember you can't get Wimpod and Dewpider early so I suggest a Vaporeon or Ludicolo (both a bulky, special attacker with Ludicolo having access to an op move: Nature Power).
  14. You need a water type. Golisopod and Araquanid are good choices and this might be an unpopular opinion but.. Simisear too. Simisear can learn Scald and Taunt which saved me dozens of times (special mention: also Acrobatics). You could also replace Noivern's Bite with Dragon Pulse and give Electabuzz Light Screen and fighting move for coverage. A great sub for Granbull would be Mamoswine.
  15. Just finished USUM... in all honesty:

    Spoiler

    Maqqycritic: 2/5

Sorry guys, I just basically played SM again. It's expected yes because it is an enhanced version.. but it failed to keep interest. Rainbow Rocket felt like a filler story and was just there. Catching UB's in their respective habitats, traveling in wormholes, its hard difficulty and Ultra Necrozma are the highlights and that is it. USUM are just in fact, DLCs.

Thoughts: Pokemon Switch needs to step up. I'd be lying if I said I'm not expecting BOTW and Odyssey levels of good because honestly I would be very disappointed if it doesn't. I would very much appreciate it, if GameFreak would realize that majority of their fans grew up with the games and doesn't need anymore hand holding and mediocre gameplay. It's for kids? Then add a difficulty mode (It has been long overdue seriously). I loved SM, so I have a little bit of hope. I have fan games like Reborn to thank you because without them, my love for Pokemon would've dwindled entirely.

      Totally agree.

  16. @BRS swag Our EV Spreads are similar, however I only prioritize Speed, Atk/SpAtk and HP (depends on the bulkiness of the mon like yours). Nature is also very important as it could greatly help your mons lacking stat or rather increase offensive power (and we have Mr. Psychologist in 7th street to thank for that).
  17. I formulate my team with a variety of movesets, type and stats so each and every one can be an ace. No types are the same, and my team needs to have these following requirements: - A barrier mon (has learned Light Screen, Reflect and Aurora Veil). - A mon that can set up a weather (Sandstorm, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Hail). - A mon with status moves (Thunder Wave, Toxic etc.). - A mon with Perish Song or Destiny Bond (For major bosses). EV training is vital in my opinion so I also incorporate this method. You also need to cater a team which can do well in doubles. For example, one mon has Earthquake and the other is a flying type (or has the abilities: Levitate, Telepathy etc.). Another example is one mon is a poison type and the other one is a steel type. So I mostly prefer a setup, terrain changing, weather enforcing, offensive team in a hellish game like Reborn.
  18. 50/50 on the team changes. Some fitted and was a great addition (For example, Shade's Mimikyu and Cain's Primarina) while some others just seemed out of place. You're absolutely right about mons being repetitive in teams. It helps in the competitive side of the game, yet the diversity side fells short. For me, there are plenty of mons that can be used that can take advantage of respective fields and items when used right. Mons that are more fitting for those characters. P.S. Minior is actually better than Archeops for Ciel. I could KO Archeops with a single discharge while Minior could actually take a hit and set up with shell smash and it's ability takes the gist.
  19. Hi hello, I would like to enter. I would like the Rainbow template. Showdown name: Muiq This will be the sprite: My team:
  20. I think you can initiate a custom battle with her when in debug mode. I recall she has a Whimsicott and a Mega Lopunny. *Here's the vid:
  21. I recommend having Alolan-Muk, Diggersby, Heliolisk, Medicham and later on adding Magnezone and Breloom (If you're lucky)
