Indeed, you can get Dragon Dance Scraggy as one of your options. Makes me wish I knew about that for my in-game normal team. I'd rather have Dragon Dance than Ice Punch. YOU DIDN'T

Chapter 11: Pangoro Pandemonium While exploring for new fighting types by the abandoned Railroad, we discovered a "dull key". We attempted to find where it fit, and found a place previously unexplored in the slums. Of course, as we were traveling, we happened to stumble upon a pack of Pangoro bullying some Scraggy. Perfect! Finally, I can catch a Scraggy and we will be on our way. All we have to do is beat the Pangoro and- ...oh, no... OH, NO! Needless to say, it took a few tries, but we got our new team member! Say hello to the next member on the team: After that escapade, we went down to meet Ame in order to tell her that Corey met an untimely fate. Unfortunately for us, we were beaten there by none other than Fern. He had claimed he received a key that would allow him to fight the reserve poison leader. Of course, if we beat him, he would tell us where to get it. However, I didn't realize that this fight would be the most challenging yet... All jokes aside, after the fight, Fern told us to ask Cain for the key. When we did, Cain said he would give it to us if we beat him in a battle. Before he can give us the key, however, Heather shows up, and tells Cain to stay away from her. We notice her head off to the Lapis Ward, and run off to see if she is okay. Next time, we will be heading down to the Lapis Ward in order to check on Heather! Current Team

Cool! About to log on. I'm TheArizonaAvenger. I'll invite you... or at least when the servers are up. I'll let you know.

Cool! I would appreciate that! Just PM me when you are ready.

I'm doing a fighting type mono run, and I just got the Mystery Egg. For my egg, I got this: I know it's not a Shroomish, which is the only fighting type available (because Breloom). Because of this, does anyone want it when it hatches? I'm never going to use it, and don't expect anything in return from you.

Chapter 10: Bugging Shelly After Victoria decided to stop being annoying, we went on to challenge the bug leader. Along the way, we fought many of the trainers, and even gained a cool new evolution! With our newly improved team member on hand, we found Shelly in her study. She told us that she tried to live up to the expectations of her older brother, Bugsy, but her efforts were always futile. It's an interesting approach to her character, and it certainly makes her interesting. With that new information in mind, we quickly went to battle: That battle was way too easy for it's own good, so I decided to train Clubber Lang in the ice cave, who is starting to fall behind in levels. While training, we found a new member who could use our support... We finally have our sixth team member! However, we aren't done looking for fighting types yet! Next time, we will be leveling up some team members, as well as looking for other fighting types. Current Team

Thanks! The good thing about Victoria is that she barely shows up. I, too, hope the rest of the game is easy, because each part has one twist which makes it brutal (ice field causes a lot of missing, there is a fairy type and a flying type in the normal field, Samson can give a hard time, etc). Although, you are still correct: Luna will be EASY.

Pick My New Mono Type Run Through Reborn!
Filthy Casual replied to J-Awesome_One's topic in Team Showcase
I'll say water mono since water types are my favorite (and I'm in the middle of a fighting mono, lol). However, one thing I always wanted to see is an Egglocke for this game. It would be brutal to organize, but it would be so interesting which mons would get picked. -
Chapter 9: Victoria is the Worst After we discovered that Corey had dropped down into a puddle of Hawaiian Punch, we joined Victoria in order to discover what was the source of the explosion... ...only for her to be kidnapped immediately. Luckily for us, we ran into her pretty quickly. We ran into a guy who seemed to know a lot about Reborn's history. After our fun chat, we run into the two Meteor grunts once more, Aster and Eclipse, who decide to take us on in a double battle. Luckily for us, Victoria decided to help us out (why she didn't just do that in the first place is beyond me, but whatever)... ...and honestly, the fight was pretty easy. We were able to take out the Solrock and Lunatone while Artemis used a Bulk Up, clinching the win. On the way back, however, I found something extremely useful: When we got back, we were offered to visit the local psychiatric facility in order to assist the Gym Leader, Shelly, who had seen the suicide first hand. However, things quickly got weird... We ended up telling Shelly the news, and she was suddenly more confident. She stated that she needs to be stronger for Heather. Honestly, that's an awesome moment of character development. With our determination and wits about us, we began to- Oh, hello! Come to thank me for helping you out? ...as a person who is fighting the league, yes. In fact, you do too... Excuse me? Pardon me for being heartless for a second, but my character did too. In fact, in this particular case, he was the one who pushed Corey to commit suicide. Apparently, that doesn't matter to Victoria, as she immediately says: You know, if you really want Shelly to be a stronger person, why not just have her say it? You really aren't helping her, and quite frankly, this seems to be a theme with Victoria. "Oh, you're doing something really important, but I don't think you can/should, so I'm going to stop you" is the motivation behind her battles for a majority of the game, and it's a shame. Either way, we still need to fight, I guess... Now that this disagreement is settled, we can begin to take on Shelly! I happened to find an Ability Capsule down in the mines. Should I use it on Hariyama (who has Sheer Force) or Sawk (who has Mold Breaker)? Also, where can I find other Ability Capsules? I want to make sure I can defeat Solaris with this team, as well! Next time, we take down Shelly, and hopefully get our badge! Current Team

Chapter 8.5: Top 10 Saddest Anime Deaths I decided to let this be a separate mini part, since you could analyze these ten minutes by itself, and it would be an exciting enough moment (even if it is not exciting in a positive way). We went to the bridge to get our badge, when this happened... As you guessed, we lost our opportunity to get another badge. On the bright side, however, we did get something else pretty cool: a brand new evolution! Next time, we will be investigating the strange explosion at the gateway!

YES! It's even better with the lyrics! @Amethyst, if Terra comes back as a secret boss, PLEASE make this a thing!

I just finished Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the first time. One of the amazing things I liked about that game was the fact that each boss fight had different themes. It made each one feel unique, and gave each one personality. This got me thinking: what would kind of theme would each individual gym leader/boss have? Here are some I came up with: Venam: Keta Phase 1: Keta Phase 2: Narcissa: Valerie: Erick: This is only a topic for fun. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

The last place I was in was in front of the breeder in Goldenleaf. Check your PM for my save.

Chapter 8: The Battle of Beryl After doing a bit of training, we confronted Corey in his gym. Before we could do that, however, we noticed that he hypnotized the police officers in the vicinity with his own poisonous gasses. We defeated them relatively quickly, and moved on to confront the poison leader himself. Clearly, he was not in a normal state of mind. He started to blame me for everything that happened, claiming that if I hadn't shown up, his daughter would not have run away from him. While the logic is laughable, I can still understand his motivation. His daughter DID leave him, after all, and she was apparently the one thing holding his sanity together. However, he still broke the law, and as such, we must take him in. We quickly went to battle! After that long fought battle, Corey invited me to visit him at the Beryl bridge, where he promised to give me "everything I want". Clearly, this means I will be getting my badge soon, which is extremely exciting! Next time, we will be collecting our shiny new badge... ...right? Current Team

Chapter 7: Law and Order: Meteor Victims Unit After dealing with Taka and the PULSE Tangrowth, we investigated the strange happenings in the Beryl Ward, only to be captured ourselves by a group of wild Nuzleaf. Fern offered to let us go if we begged, but there was no way we would beg to Fern, especially if he hasn't KOed even ONE of my Pokemon. Fern decided to leave us rot, but then out of the blue... We ended up saving the remaining Police officers, who offered to repay us by assisting our raid against the Meteors. Along the way, we even got a cool new evolution! As we finally reached the last PULSE, we discovered something horrifying... Given how much trouble Taka gave me last time, I knew it would be unwise to leave him out on the field with a partner. Because of this, I came up with a plan to nerf Taka and his stupid Chatot: However, drama ensued, as the police arrived on the scene. They ended up catching one of the culprits. We unmask the culprit, only to find out it's... The culprit still ran away, however, and is waiting for us at his gym. Next time, we bring Corey to justice! Current Team

Choose My Team: Rejuvenation Edition (LP COMPLETE)
Filthy Casual replied to Filthy Casual's topic in Rejuvenation
Chapter 12: "It's the Power... of RELIGION!" *Bonus points if you get the reference What a crazy series of events that was. We started off this journey attempting to find Venam. Of course, the first logical place to look would be in her sewer network. Therefore, we go down, and we find this: Either way, we decided to investigate the premises, and to our displeasure, we saw a face who looked all too familiar... Still, we end up meeting another "new" character as a result of this. Remember Marianette? Well, she's here now! With Marianette, we decide to confront her father about our friends, but we are stopped by a maid: Get used to these this chapter, as they are everywhere. They act as glorified fetch quests. We complete her trial, only to confront her father. Fortunately, we made a deal: Thus began a long and tedious part of the game. While I do not like this overall, there is one moment which sticks out to me in particular: Eventually, we ended up finishing all of the trials. There was only one trial left... ...but first, it's time for a secret! Finally, we were ready for our final trial, only to learn that we were to battle Marianette. Interestingly enough, she was also a gym leader. Quickly, it was time to fight! We ended up having to leave Marianette behind (due to some drama I will get into later... trust me, it's a low spot for the game), and can FINALLY move on to Goldenleaf Town! Who should we pick up along the way? Box? Catch? Name? It's up to you! Team Recap -
Another Quick Update Since there would be no new fighting types for the next few areas, I decided to try and get one off Wonder Trade. However, that didn't work. What I did get, however, was a shiny Clamperl. I wanted to see if anyone would take it for a fighting type, and luckily, one awesome user, @Zarc, really helped me out. It is thanks to him I now have this awesome team member: Soon, we'll be taking on ZEL and Taka! Thanks again Zarc!

@Zarc got it! Thanks! Since this will be a part of my Fighting Mono LP, I just want to ask you one thing: what do you want the nickname to be?
-
You will get a request from TheArizonaAvenger soon. Thanks!
-
I only need a stage one. My mons are in the 20s, but I will take the Sawk if it is a good level. Thanks! The nickname is up to you. Just let me know when you are online and your username @Zarc Also, sorry, @Elanir, but I think you got sniped. Thanks, though!

Can anyone help me out? I am doing a Fighting Type Mono, and I need a fighting type, as I only have access to three at this point (excluding the starter). I could offer you this in return:

Chapter 6: Chatot's Chattering Carnage After we got our second badge, we went onward to the Jasper ward in order to investigate the weird plants. Of course, we realized that the PULSE Tangrowth was likely responsible for the attacks on Jasper, as well, but what we didn't count on was the police asking for our help. The chief asked us to find five police officers. So far, only two have been found. While exploring through the woods, we stumbled upon someone named Taka. He seemed nice, as if he was someone you wanted to hang out- DEAR GOD NOT AGAIN We put two and two together quickly, realizing that Taka was likely a part of Team Meteor. We immediately took to battle... Afterwards, we ended up finding a little girl named Heather, who has quite the personality... She ends up telling us that in the Beryl Ward, there is another PULSE Tangrowth hooked up. All is well, but then: SALEMENCE?! ...so do you have any spare Jangmo'os I could use? Next time, we will be taking on the last PULSE Tangrowth! Current Team
