  1. Uh... flying. Unless you have charizard, I honestly don't think there's good flying before Shade's gym, since Zubat still out of reach. The best grass pokemon is the starter... I have recommendation for water though! Seaking is pretty great! Also, collect stickers until you can buy power things in department store to train your pokemon's EV. It helps a lot in battle. Don't apologize. I just curious why you'd think that way. It's true that this game does not provide tutorial (except the controls). But IIRC pokemon's tutorial only tells you how to catch pokemon, use things (pokedex, shoes, and maybe phone) and buy things from pokemart. It's extremely basic.
  2. I wonder why would you think of that. Reborn is using 3rd gen sprites and I, whose latest pokemon game is ruby, isn't that shocked. I just had a hard time remembering new names before I start picking out names on them myself. And @Grigorios, you might have hard time in gym battles because there's a lot of fields and things you need to know before beat them. Don't worry, it's part of the journey.
  3. I'm sad to see you no longer have Pengu Heart in your Pengu Ranger even though you have it in your profile picture. What is this conspiracy... JK, I have some bonds with Linoone because it's my ultimate supplier of healings and revives.
  4. Is there setting to not show weather effect? Thunderstorm, rainy and windy lags me a lot.
  5. Grand Hall and grass in front of Corey's gym is pretty good. You might want to look for evolved pokemon to beat since they have a lot more exp. Grand Hall is good because you can have money too to buy Cotton Candy.
  6. You might want a flying pokemon with Gust like Pidove to get rid of the field then use Ground moves or other types. I don't think his gym is that hard. Use healings if needed. Grimer/Muk is pretty good against him too.
  7. Let's do fairy run! Or maybe run a non-evolved pokemon like Pachirisu? And I prefer you upload battle only but it's your choice.
  8. I've been using this name ever since I played Japanese mobile game Road To Dragon. Arys is a hero who makes contract to Holy Sword who tried to possess him. There's a lot of nice hero with good names in RtD but this name stucks on me because it's a bit homophone with Alice.

    Nidoking?

Yes but it's quite high levelled. But the only skill you might want from Nidorino is poison jab (43) and toxic spike (35). You can always breed them later since you can get Moon stone easily later on.
  10. I hate tentacool and zubat. Can't you leave me alone!? I also have bad history with Entei. I can easily catch Suicune and Raikou but this Entei is too much work! I remember spamming soft reset to get it because if I don't catch it in first meeting, it'll gone forever.
  11. I think we should rate fangames and official games differently. But I really should give upper hands to original one because without them, pokedex will only have 100+ entry. Graphic wise they're definitely better (though I would love to have speed alt like in fan games). Gameplay wise, they're more casual so everyone can enjoy it but you can go to competitive if you want. But fangames doesn't lose in creativity and stories they have. Such as in Reborn, I really like their fields and level cap system. But Reborn sometimes is too hardcore for me. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy it though.
  12. The sprites looks great. Seeing your list makes me want to wish you great luck because that's a lot of work! I don't know why you want 7 new silvally but I'm looking forward for the reason. I only have one question in mind. Does your fake eeveelution has Poison type in it? *puppy eyes*
  13. Fern is definitely the one. Even if the scripts changed and he turned back to Team Meteor, I would still hate him.
  14. Grass: 27 Dragon: 5 Electric: 13 Steel: 8 Ground: 19 Ice: 26 Fight: 18 Normal: 18 Ghost: 21 Dark: 18 Bug: 27 Flying: 11 Rock: 14 Poison: 21 Psychic: 7 Heal Poison Hurt Steel. Never like those steel!
  15. Does anyone experience significant lag in battle especially in fast mode? I feel like it's a lot slower than before. Especially when you're choosing your moves even though I already turn off battle effect. EDIT: Never mind, somehow several restart the game fix it.
  16. I thought we can get back to Reborn everytime we finished a chapter (aka beating the gym)? As long as you don't start story of next chapter, I think you can get back to Reborn (or at least that's what happened to me before).
  17. I don't know eliminating/changing Field Effect will save you "a lot of time", I remember on my first run I eliminated Corey's Field and still had a hard time beating his pokemons. Doesn't it feels good beating people on their own game?
  18. I recommend getting pokemon with ground attack like muk. And get some meat shield pokemon to heal your pokemon.
  19. Thanks to anyone who enter 5 IV Bulbasaur. I really want this pokemon!
  20. Working while listening to dance music is quite nice. The lacks of lyrics help me focus more because I'm always tried to sing along.

  21. I'm currently doing mono poison. It's quite nice except when battling Shade, maybe it's because I don't have pokemon with better Sp.Def. Anyway, Shade is the hardest for me. Second hardest probably Sheryl. Bug with Psychic moves is Poison's nightmare. But with Poison/Dark pokemon it should be alright (I don't know I haven't test it). The rest is very easy. Corey and Aya is the easiest because we're poison. I just finished until Radomus which I really disappointed at him. I'm looking forward battling Ground Gym Leader, T3RR4. If you want to choose easy one, choose that one type that has little weakness like Electric. Then choose pokemon that can do a lot of types moves.
  22. I managed to trade my two run in the game. My beedrill with my previous crobat. Am I going to be banned now? I'm using a software called Sandboxie, open one of it with it, changes the save, open it again normally. The one with [#] is sandboxed. Also, interestingly if one of them lag too much and exits. It can cause a pokemon to be missing. Game that successfully traded, still receive the pokemon, while the lagged Game that cancel the trade in middle, doesn't have changes in the trade. Look, my beedrill is gone! Sandboxie duplicates everything that's happening, along with your saves. So your saves in sandboxie saved in C:/Sandbox. Sorry I didn't make this into like proper guide. I don't think I'm allowed to broke the game like this.
  23. This is my current mono poison team I named everyone as what I think they are at first. I don't train other type of pokemon (for now). Beedrill is there because I haven't trained my gastly I got from trade. Oh and I have 38 hours in game.
  24. I think it's a mastery of a type in pokemons and for a certain level caps. Don't you think it's ridiculous for a gym leader to have such low level pokemons? I don't think popularity and town size is a requirement here. Even at Ruby, there's a town big enough but has no gym. At Reborn, Shade doesn't even live in a town. His gym is in middle of nowhere, broken, and only willing to power it on after you successfully beat him. Come on Shade! Don't you see we're on run!?
  25. Oh, I like this topic! I've made my 2017 resolution in September 2016. The reason is because I finally found what I want to be. I've decided to become more optimistic, more action, more social interaction, and more learning! I don't like reducing my current self. People might say I'm perfect as what I currently am. But that's not what I want to be. What I want to be is definitely NOT what I currently am. So I have to keep changing, keep adventuring, until I found the self I want to be. I used to avoid risk and stay in my comfort zone, but that's not going to happen now. There's no fun with standing still! I enjoyed this game so much, that means I like exploring stuff in it. I tried to keep beating gym leaders even if they have to kick my butts several times, that means I don't easily give up. I love this game, but I hated reality. That's why I fail to do this in my life. But I'm done with hating things. I want to learn how to love what I like properly, whether it's people, work, etc. Maybe in that way, I'll be able to think my life is actually pretty fun! I don't have definite plan for this year, but I do have resolution! Every time I see a chance to do it, I'll do it!
