Well, I overlooked that one if it was on the site.  I have all the required cards (bought 3 Leg. Oceans since it's good in any Sea deck) and a magical mallet.   I don't have any of the Thunder Dragons.....and it would take a bit at this point (though I might start next opportunity).

While I was trying again to get either Fusion Recyling Plant (or King of the Swamp), I got both '5 headed Dragon' and 'Arcana Knight' within 3 packs of each other (and both 'Gaia Powers') but missed both cards completely.    *sigh*

fun times. I remember getting arcana knight joker as my guaranteed ur on a sale from generation next. its not like I wanted one of the actually good urs in that box.

I've almost been tempted to take the $2 offer multiple times, but if I do, I don't know where I'll draw the line.

Also, just finished putting something together.  The amount of non-warrior fusions i have is surprisingly low........plus, I just wanted to have an excuse to use it----Dark Jeroid won't be able to lower this enough.

in the first yami marik event, no lava golem rewards were included. the only lava golem you would get would be the one in his starter deck. in the second, a lava golem was included as a points reward next to the one in the starter deck. now, in his third event, a lava golem is once more included as a points reward, which means that the people who played both the second and this event can have three lava golems.

however, it doesnt really matter this time. lava golem is an extremely potent and annoying monster, but putting more than two in your deck will often make it too brick-heavy. so in other words, the change from one to two lava golems was MASSIVE, this change will barely bring about anything. also partly because burn is currently dead thanks to sylvans.

yeah, thats one thing I actually have to thank sylvans for- ojama go or destiny draw burn were even worse to face than them, and sylvans basically killed those. thank the lords almighty.

Well, it probably will bump up some people from one to two, so I imagine a small resurgence of burn from people who wanted two for their burn deck.  Might not be effective overall, but I will have to be more wary the next time I face I burn player.   I think I only faced about 4 or 5 this season and in KC cup  (2 Weevils, 2 Odions, and one odd Marik---in Gold).

yeah fair enough. burn players are probably going to be more present in lower tiers as well, since sylvans just destroy them, but sylvans are often in higher tiers.

in other news, the gems from yami mariks event have allowed me to get my third needlebugs nest, allowing me to complete the beta version of what will be my archfiend deck eventually.

Had to use what I had available.  This is the only way I've had to get over 4000 duel assessment in most cases, usually getting 8000 or over.  Summoning a Divine + playing a deck of glossy and the few prismrics I have  + over 9999 damage.    Naturally, it didn't work for most LDs at lvl 30, so farming 40's were out-----thus trying to get Union Attack.

know the feel. union attack used to be locked behind event exclusive-content (yugi muto was a roamer/unlockable event), and card tickets didnt exist yet. had to make due with the subpar gift of the martyr which was not optimal(tm) because I was inactive or got unlucky with his drops.

..............Konami is just encouraging more "Hit the Yes button to win" duels.  The daily loaner decks have been Sylvan decks quite a few times recently as well.

good old times as this was my first-ever king of games deck...or a variation of it, at the very least. pulse mines might have not been available yet at that point, and I probably ran some walls of disruption too. this was definitely the deck I reached my second king of games with, though.

While I'm definitely liking unlocking Crowler now, I'm more excited about the yami Marik event starting on the 19th.  New character (for me), more gems, and Lava Golem with the second Egyptian God card as an extra (if you didn't do the former event).

definitely looking forward to the gems too. I missed the winged dragon of ra last time because I stopped playing like two days before it became available due to lost interest, but now im ready to get it, even if its not very good. apparently it can be used in farming decks, though, so we take those.

lava golem also has seen better days, but probably will be popular again once burn decks become better once more.

eheroes kind of suffer because they only have decent monsters, none that are actually good. wildheart ought to be the best atm, but he didnt really see any usage back when the meta was heavy backrow-related, and rn he usually cant even get over boss monsters with a skyscraper boost. however, theyre pretty fun to run against standard duelists.

poly, dark magician and blue-eyes white dragon are so far the only cards in the game with alternate artwork, as far as im aware. dark magician and blue-eyes even have three different artworks (although one blue-eyes artwork was locked behind an event that has already ended). poor red-eyes. that said, I do believe an alternate art dark magician girl got datamined recently.

gem drought can and will be a thing and im gonna experience it really soon as the majority of my legendary duelists is already level 34 or higher and my stages are near maxed. however, players that actually pay dont have it that easy either, mainly because konami raises them ridiculous prices. $100 is not nearly enough to dig through a main box, like holy hell.

How else are they going to afford more Pachinko machines besides ripping off players, now that they killed one of their best franchises and spit on the corpse?  Sure there's profits from ripping off players of the TCG, but they've got to split those profits some.   I didn't realise it was that bad for PTW players too.

 I hope for alt-art DMG.

I honestly thought jolteon would actually be mediocre, never knew it was that good. Especially considering how little it got over the generations like some other pokemon. It is actually one of my better pokemon in my rejuv runs.

urs often have the same (or higher) drop rates than srs. im very inclined to believe certain srs/urs have higher or lower drop rates than others, since it took me an unholy long time to fetch three cards of sanctity, gravekeepers recruiters and amazoness swords women, but at the same time I had like fifteen skull invitations and relinquisheds from the same duelists.

tbf it's impossible to really tell without being able to dive into the code and look at the exact rates. lf l recall, that game doesn't even give projected rates ~~which hidden rates in and of itself is a super scummy practice.~~ so ye it'd be hard to really get a handle on it given l doubt results are remotely the same for every player that plays the game cause you know... sometimes one just gets lucky etc...
