Riding on top of a running Stantler was a lot faster to get back to Agate Circus than it ever would have taken if it was just me alone running back. I was glad I had helped this Pokemon back then. It’s helped me a lot in the short time we have been acquainted with each other. When I got back to Agate Circus, I rushed right into the Big Top with Stantler. I know outside Pokemon weren’t really allowed back here but this was for a reason. I found Samson and ran up to him. Samson: Yo Matt and Rudie right? Matthew: Yea but- Samson: How’s your little rescue operation going? Matthew: Rescue operation? What- Samson: Listen, I ain’t gonna lie. I’m a little anxious for Agate City to be reopened. This whole half circus and half shelter thing is for the birds. Uhh, no offense to Ciel. Matthew: That sucks but I have to- Ciel: -walks into the back- Samson, what brutish slander are you muttering about me now? Ohh. And hi Matthew and Rudie. We don’t really allow outside Pokemon back here buuut we can make an exception for you. Matthew: Thanks but I seriously need to- Samson: Just telling Matthew about the thong that you’re apparently wearing. Ciel: Right. We’re- Matthew: For fuck sake! Could you 2 let me say what I have to say?! The 2 of them looked at me in disbelief. To be honest, I was kind of shocked with myself that I told those 2 to shut up but I needed to tell them about Terra. So their possible hurt feelings could wait until after I delivered the news. Ciel: I’m… I… Samson: Was not expecting that but sure. Say what you need to say. Matthew: It’s about Terra. Ciel: Oh yes. I see that battle pass you have there. She’s not here unfortunately. Matthew: Oh my- Samson: It’s weird though. She;s been disappearing for days at a time for a while now. Matthew: Yes yes! I know! Ciel: But the question that remains is just to where has she been vanishing to. Matthew: You guys are just gonna keep talking aren’t you? Ciel: Not a lot of options and we can safely rule out Agate and beyond thanks to the sleeping spell. Samson: Actually wait. Hold on. Matt, didn’t Terra find you and that other guy in Agate? Matthew: Yea. Why? Samson: She shouldn’t have been able to stay awake if she was in there. I thought about it for a moment. I just thought that she was so psychotically crazy, that she was able to just stay awake from the whole thing. But now that I knew the truth about her, I was mad at myself for not getting that sooner. But of course, Ciel believed what I believed before. The 2 continued to bicker back and forth until I couldn’t take it anymore. Matthew: Alright. Seriously. Both of you shut up. Terra is a member of Team Meteor. Ciel: I’m sorry. What? Matthew: It’s true. Some Meteor people were up in Ametrine and when me and some of my friends got done trouncing them, 1 of them informed me of Terra’s involvement in their affairs. Samson: How would he- Matthew: He used to be with them but then split up because it wasn’t right. Ciel: Terra? Being in Team Meteor? Matthew, I’m sorry but you must be mistaken. I mean her? In that team? They’d have to be nuts to do a thing like that. Samson: Well… it doesn’t seem that impossible. For instance- Terra: HUNNIEZ, I’M HOME! LIKE I WAS IN ALABAMA!~ Terra came spinning into the room and kissed Ciel on the lips. It was an awkward moment for everyone that wasn’t her. Terra: WHAT ARE Y’ALL PEEPZ TALKINZ ABOOTY?! Samson: Just discussing of the possibility of you being a member of Team Meteor. Terra: U wot mate?… LEWL THAT’S THE BEST THING I’VE HEARD ALL OF THIRTY SECONDS! Ciel: So it’s not true right? Terra: RAWWWR!!!! uhh what wuz we talking about again? Lol. Ciel: You being a Team Meteor member. It’s not true right? Terra: Well duhhhhhh. Course I am bitchez. The 3 of us walked over to Terra and were kind of amazed she would just admit something like that but then again, this was Terra we were talking about. She seemed to be more happy about the fact that we were “checking her out.” She started to sing a song about her humps. When asked why she joined, she gave some kind of story that was literally right out of a comic book. Terra: Aww bitchtits. I been found out. But das ok cus they’ll NEVER find me here! Matthew: Uhh… What are you talking about? Samson: What exactly are you doing? Terra: Asll right. Les do dis. MEGA TERRA, JACK OFF! EXECUTE! Terra pressed some buttons on her computer and was gone after some flashes of lights stopped going off. We were all stunned at what we just witnessed. Although I couldn’t tell if we were stunned at her being teleported somewhere else or that she had the brain power to actually construct something to transport her somewhere else. Matthew: Uhh… I think I speak for everyone when I say THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?! Samson: Please tell me she didn’t just escape into that big ass computer. Ciel: Ok. She didn’t escape through that computer. Samson: Thank you. -goes over to the computer and checks a few things out on there- Looks like it’s waiting for a “Player 2.” Matthew: I’m gonna go in. Samson: I was gonna suggest that anyways. No way in hell I’d go follow her in… there… Wherever “there” is. Matthew: Wait… Hold on. I think I’m gonna talk to Ame 1st. Something tells me I’m gonna be battling her and I wanna know as much stuff as possible before that happens. Samson: Go for it man. I went over to the monitor they had in the Big Top and pressed the button. Ame’s face popped up but she wasn’t smiling like she usually was. Matthew: Hey Ame. Are you ok? Ame: I heard from Cal about what’s going on? Matthew: So then you know about Terra being with Team Meteor? Ame: Yea. I never imagined her being with them. But I suppose on a bright side, I never liked her much. So whatever. Matthew: I suppose 1 could look at it like that. Anyways, she just somehow transported herself into the computer and something tells me I’m gonna have to battle her in it. Ame: Say no more. I’ll patch into her computer and give you the info on the field she’ll be battling on. Ame started clicking away on her keyboard trying to find any information on what field the battle would be on. But when she found it, she seemed puzzled by it. Matthew: What is it? Ame: The results are… strange. It looks like the computer environment is set up to simulate an old video game. Matthew: An old video game? Ame: Yes. In this game, attacks are physical or special based on what type they are. Matthew: That’s so… odd. Ame: Plus the Special Attack and Special Defense stats are treated as a single value. It looks like it works off of whichever stat is higher. And the last thing I can find about the field is that the Dark, Steel and Fairy types seem to have been erased. Matthew: That’s… insane. Ame: But it sounds familiar right? Matthew: For some reason, yes. Ame: Well keep those in mind when you’re in there. I know you can do what’s necessary. Matthew: Alright. Well thanks for the info Ame and- Ame: Hold on! There’s something else. Matthew: I thought you already told me the last thing about the field? Ame: I did but this has to do with a program she has running on her computer. Apparently, it’s some kind of singing programmer and whoever is in there will have to sing aloud a song that comes to mind connected to how they feel at that current moment. Matthew: I… Are you serious? Ame: Yes. It won’t happen all the time but you will do it a couple of times while you’re in there. Matthew: Alright. I guess I’m gonna have to get my vocal cords in shape then huh? Ame: I guess so. Anyways, good luck with all of that! The monitor screen turned black. I looked down and then back up to the giant computer. I was going to have to sing whatever comes to mind connected to how I’m feeling at the moment? Why in the world would Terra include a program like that? I didn’t have time to think about that though. I walked up to Samson. Samson: So… singing huh? Matthew: Apparently. This is so weird. Ciel: Do be careful Matthew. We’ll watch everything from here while you’re in there. Matthew: Ohh great. I’m gonna have an audience. Great. Samson: It could be worse. You could be prancing around in a thong. Matthew: I’m concerned at why that would be the 1st thing to pop into your mind. Samson: Yea. Me too… Alright. Stand still. All I should need to do is this and… Matthew: Wait! Come over here Rudie! Stantler came close to me. I then had Samson hit the button. The lights started to flash again but when they stopped, Stantler and I were somewhere completely different. We could see someone up ahead but they looked really different. Really pixelated too. When I tried to walk up passed him, he stopped me and asked to see the badge for Julia’s Gym. I slowly pulled out the Badge and showed it to him and he allowed me to continue through. The same thing happened 3 more times when I went to the next area. But as the 4th person was telling me to go on through, Terra came from out of nowhere and tried crushing me under her giant mallet. Luckily, I was able to jump back in time to avoid the hit. When she lifted up her hammer though, the ground looked weird. As if some kind of error happened, the ground, or in this case I suppose tiles, looked like random things. Terra: Aww boobiecakes. I missed. Matthew: Now you’re trying to murder me Terra? Every time I see you, you keep surprising me Terra. Terra: HAHAHAHAHA RAWWWWRRRRRRR!!!!!!! Hashtag wut, hashtag ever. IMMA POUND YOU NEXT TIME AND IT’S GONNA BE HARD! Matthew: Don’t you dare do a- Terra: Winky. Face. Matthew: Ok… Not what I was expecting but it still counts! You’re so annoying! Terra: RAWR!!!! Terra smashed up some more of the tiles of the place. It looked more messed up than ever. If this did act like a regular video game, then I might not be able to proceed through. Terra: Heh. YOU’LL NEVER CATCH ME NOW SUCKA! PHYSICS, AWAYYYYYY!!!!! With 1 big mighty hit to the ground with her giant mallet, Terra was propelled to the air and disappeared. I could get to, what looked to be, water. I walked through the mess that Terra made and found a ladder going down. When I reached the bottom, I was in a cave. As I explored through it, people kept battling but what they said before was making no sense. It was as if there were lots of Terras around but with different bodies and faces. While I was trying to find a way out of the cave, I was wondering when the song aspect of the program she was running in this would happen. I found a way to get out of the cave but when I got to the next place, I was shocked. It looked like the Grand Hall but all in pixels. But as I looked at the place, I started to hear music. I didn’t know where it was coming from but I could hear it. And then I started singing. If anyone were to here me singing this, it would sound like a rock version of a break up love song and at 1st, I thought that’s what this was. But then I thought about it. It did suck that Laura broke up with me. But… I wasn’t all that sad about it. At 1st I was but then all of this crazy stuff started to happen. Now, I was pretty much alright with it. So what was I really singing this song for? It was because I didn’t know if everything I was doing to try to help Reborn was actually doing anything. I did love my adventure here but is my involvement really helping or would it all have been better without me? I mean there were multiple deaths. Corey, Kiki, Eclipse and many of innocent people. I guess deep down inside me, I was feeling like this. It was weird. Soon, I was finished singing the song. I felt weird. Not because of singing but because I felt like that and I didn’t even know. I tried getting over it by battling the “trainers” in the area but now I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I finally reached to the next area and it weirdly represented Team Rocket’s hideout in the Game Corner in Celadon City. I remember watching the news when they explored this place. Why Team Rocket put spinning tiles on the floor, I have no idea. After getting through that place, I landed in Lavender Town. This place felt weird even in pixelated form so I tried to get to the next are as soon as possible. This place was familiar. It was another pixelated place I visited here in the Reborn Region. Byxbysion Wasteland. Weirdly enough, I would prefer this over the real 1 because this 1 didn’t seem to have all that toxic good all over the place. When I got to the next area, I had no idea where I was. I aimlessly looked for a way to get to another place. I walked upstairs and found a diary of some sort on a table. I remember what happened last time I read a diary. But then again, I technically wasn’t even in the real world anymore. I was inside a computer. I decided to read it. Matthew: “hee hee! This is fun! i can see everything from here! and i can make everybody play with me! it’s all thanks to baby arceus!” Wait a minute. She’s religious too? Great. We got a psychotic version of El. Ugh. “i’m going to make sure i repay him by setting him free! then we can all live in the new world together and have lots of fun forever and ever!” This is the most messed up thing I’ve read. Only because it’s Terra saying all of this. I gotta find her and quick. I walked back downstairs and continued to look for another way to anywhere else. After searching for a while, I finally found a way out but when I came to the next area, it was another place I had been to but just pixelated. It was the place where Arceus apparently was at. Once again, I could hear music which means I would probably be singing again. This 1 made sense to me. Since I became aware of Wehttam, I’ve been feeling like a lot of people think I’m crazy or something. I mean Cain, Laura and some other people know because they’ve seen the transformation. But other people like El or Bennett or Sirius just thinks I’m crazy and probably other people too. And to me? That just wasn’t right. Wasn’t fair. Even if I was, I haven’t done anything harmful. But even if people did or do think I’m crazy and even if it may not be fair, it’s ok. I know what’s true and so do my true friends. That’s all that matters. The song ended as did my singing. I felt somewhat better about myself somehow from it. I looked over to Stantler and pet its head. It licked my cheek. We both smiled and went on our way. The next area kind of reminded me of the Grand Gates but different. There were just a lot of gears in there. Caves there led to another cave. I was getting tired of all of these areas. I just wanted to get to Terra and then out of here. I followed the cave until I reached a very unexpected surprise. Matthew: Is… Is that… Mewtwo? Mewtwo: MEW! The battle begun but believe it or not, I had gotten beat 5 times. The 6th battle I was finally able to defeat it. I was extremely frustrated that it took me that long to defeat Mewtwo. I then started to hear music but something happened this time. I got transported to somewhere. It looked like the floor of the Onyx School but that was it. I started to sing. After I stopped singing, I, as well as Stantler, warped to another place. We ran as fast as we could through to the next room and finally, standing right there, was Terra. I walked up to her with a smiling grin on my face. Matthew: About god damn time! You- Terra: AH! I HEARD ABOUT YOU MATTHEW! Matthew: Arceus fucking- Ugh! Terra: I AM TERRA! THEY CALL ME THE CIEL TAMER! AND I HAD THAT BITCH ON HER KNEES! COVERED IN KETCHUP. Matthew: What in the blue fucking hell are you talking about? Terra: Lookie here Mr. Bootylicious man. I ain’t about that dramatic speech life. But I have to tell you a lil’ somethin’. Matthew: I don’t know I’m doing this but what do you have to say? Terra: IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO. IN A GALAXY NOT VERY FAR AWAY AT ALL. IN FACT IT WAS THIS 1. THIS GALAXY. RIGHT HERE. THE MILKY TIT. AND SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAPPENED. I got bored. Matthew: You? Being bored? Terra: Sooo I was like aww yeaaa. Let’s cause some ANARCHY! Matthew: Soo… You joined Team Meteor to cause anarchy? Terra: FUCK NO! I joined cuzzzz chaos… is like sex. Hot. Steamy. Rawrsex. You made me feel things that maybe I didn’t want things to surface up! Things like me not thinking that I’m making a difference being here helping people against Team Meteor AKA ALSO YOU! And also making me think that other people think of me as crazy! Maybe I am but I’ve been trying to do good so everybody can have a better life than what they have right now! I’ve… I’ve been through so much in the past couple of months and if I learned anything about myself, it’s that I am who I am. And nothing can make me more than what I really am inside. Someone that cares about the people here in Reborn… And that I’m awesome. But I also no that I’m a goofball, and a wingnut and a knucklehead mcspazatron! But most of all, I’m… I’m… Terra: The fuck is going on with- I somehow was not only able to win the Gym Battle but I was able to sing as well. But this time I felt like I was having fun with the singing. Which was different from all the different songs I had sung throughout this weird computer journey. Terra than spoke to me in her weird speech but without the loudness this time, which was shocking but a relief. Terra: You just won yourself a motherfucking Gravity Badge. Rawr. Gravity Badge. Pfft. More like grabbity badge. Nudge nudge grope grope know what I mean vern, know what I mean? Matthew: Riiiight. Just give me the badge already. Terra: Right. Here. -hands over the Gravity Badge- Matthew: Now… I’m going to get out of here alright? Terra: Not before you become my Senpai. Will you love me? Matthew: Yeeeaaa no. When we came to the next room, we were standing in the backroom of the Big Top. Samson and Ciel looked so relieved to see that I was ok. Ciel: Bravo, dear, bravo! Samson: You got some nice vocals there Matt. Matthew: Yea? I guess I do. That whole thing was… weird though. Samson: Yea. What a stupid goose chase. Seems she was trying to just distract you from the whole Meteor deal. Matthew: Well, if anything, she just made me remember it even more with all of that chasing and singing. Ciel: You ok? Something seemed to have come over you on that last song there. Matthew: I’m fine. I think I just accepted a lot of stuff. Ciel: Well that’s good. As long as you’re good with yourself, then that’s all that matters. Matthew: Yea… you’re right. Thanks Ciel. Although, I wish she didn’t tell me about her… sexual interactions with members of Team Meteor. -shivers- Ciel: True. Hey. Did you notice how quiet she seemed after you basically let her have it? Matthew: Yea. I don’t know why she did that but I’m happy she did. By the way, can you see where she went to Samson? Samson: Naw. Haven’t been able to find her but I have an idea. Now that you’re here… Samson went over to the plugs and unplugged everything. The screen on the computer went black. It was all completely shut off. I liked this idea of his. Ciel: Ah, will she be alright? Samson: Not sure but she probably can’t get out of there as long as this is off. At least she can’t cause anymore trouble for Team Meteor. Ciel: And there will be all this peace and quiet. Matthew: I would take that in as much as possible. Samson: Ohh hell yea. When all of this is over though, we’ll let her out. We’ll question her about Team Meteor. Matthew: You think she’s gonna give an actual answer? Samson: I’m not sure but after your outburst to her like that, at least it’ll be quiet, weird answers she gives us. Ciel: What about all of that stuff from Agate City? We still don’t know anything about it. Matthew: I have no clue. Ciel: Well Matthew, you leave that to us. Samson: Yea. You need to scale a waterfall! Ciel: Bon voyage Matthew! We’ll have that women writing novels before you know it! Matthew: Probably erotic novels with too much detail. Samson: With some kind of anime cross-over, yes. Ciel:… On 2nd though, let’s scratch the novel. But we’ll figure it out. Matthew: -chuckles- Right. I’ll see you all later. I hopped on top of Stantler and rode him out towards the home of Titania and Amaria. I now had to go save those 2 from the waterfall drop. I was still hoping those 2 somehow made the fall. Pokemon Team Pokemon Traveling Companion REBORN CHARACTER RATES I'd like to say thank you to the people who always come back to read this. It's almost at 6000 views. That's insane to me. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for this. This is still going but as of right now, this is going on hiatus considering it's close to Christmas. Ohh yea. Before I forget. I'd like to thank 1 @Candy for editing the sprites that were used in the battle against Terra. (the VS trainer sprite and the Pokeball throwing sprites) She didn't have to do that for me but despite being in school and also doing her own written story version of Reborn, she decided to do that for me. I know maybe you don't think you need to hear this or whatever but I seriously thank you for those and I was quite excited to finally use those in this story. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Soooo... Remember when most of you said Luna should be like easy to get through? Not sure how many of you are gonna like this episode buuuut here's Episode 67.

Well sadly (but not too sadly because I think I pumped out like 15 episodes this month of this) the next episode will be the last for a while. Need to rest up my creative thinking and also Christmas is right around the corner. But this episode was the planned finish for this year. So that'll be good at least. And yea. The snow sucked but luckily, I was able to beat Blake in just 2 fights.

I hopped atop of Stantler and had it run as fast as it could back through the mountain and back into Blake’s apartment. It felt awkward being on top of it while riding down an elevator but there was no time to waste. As soon as the elevator doors opened, I had Stantler go as fast as it could to wherever Cal was. Luckily, he wasn’t far. When I caught up to him, he was talking to Blake and by the sound of it, whatever Cal was saying, Blake had heard enough of it. Blake: Holy fuck. Enough already. I thought you used to be whiny back then but this? You’ve outdone yourself now. Cal: Nothing I’m saying of for your benefit. You asked me a question. I just answered. Blake: Well lesson learned. Never ask you anything again. Matthew: Yo Blake. Get prepared to get a beat down. Blake: While I would love wasting my time with you, I’m a little busy. So peace. Cal: Wait! Just then, 2 Team Meteor Grunts flew up into the sky and landed right next to Cal. I was surprised he didn’t flinch or something with those 2 just plopping down next to him like that. Blake: Naw. I ain’t staying. But hey, whatever you need to talk about, I’m sure those 2 will be happy to indulge you. I’m outtie. -leaves the area- Matthew: Your brother is a real piece of work Cal. Cal: You don’t know the half of it. Come on. Let’s beat these 2 quickly! Cal: Now get out of here chumps. I’ve put you behind me. Team Meteor Grunt #1: So we see. Do you think you’ll get away with it? Cal: Like it matters to you? Matthew: Yea. Get out of here! Team Meteor Grunt #2: As you wish Sayonara! -leaves along with the other Team Meteor Grunt- Cal: Thanks for your help Matt. Matthew: No problem but we’re not done yet. We just got started. Cal: You’re right. It seems we have a chase ahead of us. Matthew: Where do you think Blake’s going to? Cal: Up to the peak to rendezvous. There’s no way I’m letting him get there! Matthew: Hold up. Get up here and hold onto me. We’ll get there faster! Cal: Good idea. I helped Cal climb up on top of Stantler and then had Stantler run off towards the summit. This was much faster than if I had to have wait for Cal to run up here. In almost no time at all, we caught up to Blake but 2 more Team Meteor Grunts were standing guard. Cal got off of Stantler and walked in front. Cal: Stop already! Matthew: Yea! Make it easier for yourself! Blake: Kay, LOL. Matthew: Wow. You’re really such a kid aren’t you? Blake: I don’t care what I am. You know these guys are just gonna keep coming here right? Just give up already. Matthew: No until we take you down and get the Ring back! Blake: I bet you wouldn’t be so high and mighty if it was just you facing me. But for now, ta-ta. -leaves the area- Cal: Tch. Arrogant as always. Let’s do this fast. Matthew: You got it man! Team Meteor Grunt #1: Think that’s good enough for them? Team Meteor Grunt #2: It’ll have to be but let’s get out of here! I’m freezing! The 2 grunts then ran down back the way we came. Heather came flying down on her Salamence. This made me think of the 1st time I saw her in that jungle down in the Jasper Ward. Matthew: What’s up Heather? Cal: Ahh. So you’re Heather. Heather: Just busting a few Meteor dummies and yea. You’re Cal right? Shelly told me about you. Matthew: Good. Getting more acquainted with the team. Heather: True but no time for that right now. There’s a lot more of them in the air unit than I expected! I’m not sure which is the main helicopter but 1 of them has their leader! Cal: Is that so? Well we’ll just have to shoot them all down until we find him then right? I’m game for that. Alright Charizard! Get ready! -gets onto his Charizard- I’m comin’ for you Solaris! Heather: I’m gonna go help! Matthew: Wait! Where’s Shelly? Heather: I dropped her off a bit up ahead. Matthew: Alright good. You 2 take care of Team Meteor up in the air while me and Shelly deal with the ones down here! Heather: Sounds good! See you 2 in a bit Matthew! Let’s kick some butt! Heather flew off. I rode to where Shelly was and met up with her. She started to talk to me but I could see 2 Team Meteor Grunts swoop down behind her. Matthew: We’ll talk later! Right now, we got trouble! Behind you! Shelly: Huh?! -turns around- Where’d you 2 come from?! Wait! No! I’m not gonna be scared anymore! Matthew: Ready to team up again Shelly? Shelly: Of course! Shelly: We won! Team Meteor Grunt #1: Hm! No difference to us at this point. Ta-ta! -leaves the area long with the other grunt- Shelly: We should hurry! Matthew: Yea. No telling how close Blake is to the top. Here hop on! I helped Shelly hop up onto Stantler and then we both rode off on it further upwards the mountain. We could see a couple of grunts up ahead. I looked back to her and our eyes met. We nodded our heads. I had Stantler stop immediately. Shelly jumped off at the same time Stantler stopped and landed in front of the grunt. We both battled the 2 and won the battle. As I went around the city asking people if they saw a girl with pink hair, some of them either avoided the question or started to talk about some kind of guardian angel. It was interesting or frustrating because I wasn’t getting any answers. Even if it was just a no. But the only thing I figured out was that whoever this mystery person or guardian angel was or whoever was not to be mentioned by their real name for it could mean danger to them. I asked just about everyone in the city and had come up with basically nothing. I decided to search for Shelly. But of course, with my luck, I couldn’t find her. I was starting to get frustrated but also worry. Then I saw a weird looking building. Remembering back to what Shelly said to me, something told me she’d be there. I walked up and inside the building but was shocked to see no 1 in it. But a split second later, Shelly came rushing into the building. Shelly: Matthew! Matthew: Ohh Shelly. There you are. I was starting to get worried that something had happened to you. Shelly: I’m sorry… Matthew: It’s ok. So what’s up? Find anything? Shelly: Except for some kind of guardian angel, nothing. He’s trying top give them the Ring! Cal: And I’m sure you 2 know why that’s not a good thing. Shelly: Well what do we do? We have to find Heather and stop him at the same time! Matthew: I think we should split up. Cal: That’s the only thing we’ve got. It’d be real good if we had your friend with the Salamence too… Shelly, didn’t you tell me that she was in the Elite 4 or something? Matthew: Wait wait wait. Hold on. What did you just say?! He kind of messed up my face with his Garchomp. Cal: I can certainly do that. Shelly: But we still don’t know where Heather is! Cal: I think I can help with that. Shelly: You can?! Cal: I grew up here too. So I know all about it. Search in his apartment and look carefully for some kind of hidden passage. Shelly: That’s crazy! Matthew: You really have a hidden passage in there? Cal: Yea. Used to use it all the time when meeting with Team Meteor. But I bet he’s changed the security on it. But I’ll leave that to you 2. Matthew: And I’ll take it you’re going after Blake right? Cal went towards the peak of Ametrine Mountain as me and Shelly went back upstairs. This time, I had Stantler come with me just in case there was trouvle that we didn’t expect. Me and Shelly started to search the area. I found 2 parts of a key and opened a cabinet which had some power cables and then popped a disc out of the game console. I took the 2 over to the computer that was in his bedroom. When the power cable was plugged in and I put in the program disc, it asked for a password. I didn’t know it so I looked around the apartment for clues. Blake was a weird person. Kept notes of numbers hidden everywhere in his apartment. I went back to the computer and typed in a couple of guesses before getting the right 1. I heard something move and then Shelly scream. Shelly: It moved! It moved! Matthew: Shelly?! I ran over to where she was. I was glad to see she was alright but I noticed an entrance going somewhere just in front of her. We both entered and were back inside Ametrine Mountain. We followed the pathway through the mountain until we came outside. We looked around and finally found a little shack. The both of us ran up to it. We knocked on the door as loud as we could but nothing happened. We were both worried. Shelly: Can you hear me Heather?! Matthew: Heather, answer us! We’re here for you! Shelly: Or… would you respond even of you could? Matthew: Shelly… Shelly: No. It doesn’t matter! We have to get this door opened! Matthew: But how? It’s locked. Shelly: Umm… I don’t know… D-Did we really come all the way up here for nothing? Matthew: No. We didn’t. We have to have faith. Faith in her Shelly. Shelly: You’re right Matt… Heather, can you hear me?! Matthew: Heather, come on! Heather: Shelly? Matt? Shelly: Oh my god! She’s there! Heather: What… What in the world are you 2 doing here? Matthew: We came to save you. Duh! Shelly: Can you open the door at all? Heather: I wouldn’t be in here if I was able to. Shelly: Ohh right… Sorry… Heather: No Shelly. I’M sorry. Can we try to break it down? I tried before but it wouldn’t move. But maybe together. Shelly: Right! Hold on! Heather come on out! Heather: Umm… I… can’t? Matthew: She meant her Yanmega. Heather: Ohh. Ok. Shelly: Heather, use Ancient Power! Matthew: Rudie, use Psychic to make Ancient Power even stronger. It took a couple of tries but eventually the door was broken down. Heather returned her Salamence while Shelly returned her Yanmega back. A few seconds later, Heather came out. Tears were swelling up in her eyes. I could tell she was happy to see Shelly and vice versa. I was too. Shelly ran up to her and they both embraced in a hug. It was such a precious moment. The 2 then began to talk about their friendship and forgave each other. She even apologized to me. I didn’t ever feel like she was mean to me though but I accepted it to be nice. Matthew: I’m really happy to see you too Shelly but we need to hurry. Heather: What’s wrong? Shelly: We need your help. Blake has your Ring? Heather: Mom’s ring? Matthew: Yea… Son of a bitch just stole it right from me. Shelly: And now he’s trying to turn it over to Team Meteor! Matthew: They’re sending an air unit up here now to get it. We need to stop him! Heather: Duh we do! Sooo what are we waiting for? I’m so gonna knock his head off after everything he did! Matthew: I would so pay to see you do that. Heather: How much you got? For trying to starve an entire city! Matthew: What did happen exactly? Heather: Well I tried to feed the city secretly. I mean anyone would try to do that right? I could tell that the 2 of them wanted to spend at least a bit of time talking to each other with just each other. Matthew: You know what? I watched for a couple of seconds and then started to head down towards the city to catch up with Cal. This whole thing was about to go down. After resting up in the PokeCenter, I left and went back to the building I woke up in after being knocked out by Hardy. As I got closer, I saw Shelly out in front. Cain and her must have gotten back from Agate Circus already. Matthew: Hey Shelly. Shelly: Hey Matthew. Ohh. I-Is that your Stantler? Matthew: Somewhat. I saved it and now it lets me ride around on its back but I never caught it so… You know. Shelly: Well it’s very cool. Especially since it’s shiny. Stantler: -goes over to Shelly and nuzzles her and licks her cheek- Matthew: -chuckles- You 2 will make good friends. Ohh yea. Is Cain in here? Shelly: Yea. We got back not that long ago. Matthew: Alright. I’ll get the HM and then we’re gonna leave for Ametrine. Shelly: Alright. Sounds like a plan. I walked into the building. Cain was there along with Hardy, Noel and Anna. I walked up to Cain. He handed over the HM Machine for Dive. We hugged each other and then I left. I got Shelly and then her, me and Stantler started to walk back to Ametrine Mountain. It was a long trek but it was a nice walk. Shelly and I talked about what happened when the group split up. And I eventually told her about me and Laura splitting up. She didn’t know what to say but with her company there was enough for me. Before too long, we were inside the mountain. We went in search of the giant iceberg. We finally found it. Shelly looked up at it. It was massively huge. Shelly: Wow… That’s huge. Matthew: Yea. It is. Alright. Here’s what we’re gonna do. You and Rudie are gonna stay here. I’m gonna have to go for a dive into the… frigid… cold… waters… to get into this thing. And then I’ll see what I can do from there. Shelly: Well… Ok. I guess that’s just a good plan of any. Matthew: Rudie, make sure you help Shelly out if anything or anyone tries causing problems for her alright? Stantler nodded its head yes and I went in search for a body of water. When I found it, I brought out Clawitzer and surfed on it to the middle of the water. Then I had it use Dive. I braced myself for the cold water engulfing me and boy was it cold. It was FREEZING! I had Clawitzer move as fast as it could through the water below. When we made it to a certain point, I had it resurface. I gasped in that sweet air but also cursed it for it made me even colder than when I was underneath the water. I looked over and could still see the giant iceberg. I then had Clawitzer surf across the water until it reached the end and then had it dive again. It was so, so cold. Clawitzer moved as fast as it could in the water. I couldn’t take it anymore and had it resurface. This time though when we resurfaced, we were somewhere else. On closer observation, I was inside of the giant iceberg. I got out of the water and right in front of me was a machine but not just any machine. It was a PULSE Machine. And what was on it? A giant Avalugg. When it noticed me, it roared out in pain. I felt bad for it. The machine seemed like it was going haywire. I didn’t want to hurt the Avalugg but there didn’t seem to be any other way to free it. So I had to battle it. After the battle, the Avalugg freed itself from the machine and bashed away the giant iceberg. Finally, the path was freed. I felt good about it but was also freezing myself to death. Shelly was now visible. She ran over to me. Shelly: Matthew! Are you ok?! Matthew: B-Besides being very cold and v-very wet, yes. Shelly: Well hopefully, you’ll feel warm soon. Matthew: M-Me too. Shelly: So what happened? Matthew: T-There was an Avalugg attached to a P-PULSE Machine. I fought it and it was a-a-able to free itself and crashed down the iceberg. Shelly: So… this is 1 of the Meteor’s PULSE Machines? Matthew: Yea. I’ve had to shut down a c-couple of them. Shelly: But… isn’t it strange? Matthew: What do you mean? Shelly: I mean Team Meteor wanted to block off the mountain right? But wouldn’t they put it literally anywhere else? Matthew: Maybe they thought no 1 would be in-insane enough to dive underneath water. Shelly: Maybe… But there’s dozens of choke points in the paths they could have chose to easily block. This is such an open space. Matthew: Hmm… That is true. Shelly: It doesn’t make much sense but then again, maybe it’s just me. Matthew: Well whatever the reason, you ready to go find Heather? Shelly: Yes! Let’s get going. The 2 of us ventured the rest of the way up the mountain. It was quite tricky since there was ice all over the place along with me freezing but my clothes were starting to dry at least. We finally got to the top and exited the mountain. We walked up to the city. It was different. Wasn’t used to seeing snow everywhere. It was definitely a scenery change. Shelly: Brr! It’s cold up here! Matthew: I’m pretty sure I know this. I had to dive into almost frozen water remember? Shelly: Ohh yea… Sorry. Matthew: It’s ok. So what should we do? Shelly: Well no matter what, I’m definitely finding Heather. Matthew: Me too. Shelly: We should split up and ask people around her if they seen anyone that fits her description. Matthew: Alright. Sounds like a decent plan. Shelly: And then after we talk to everyone, we should meet up somewhere. Somewhere… suspicious. Matthew: Umm… why a suspicious place? Shelly: Why not? I’m going to look for something like that once I’m done though! Good luck! Shelly ran off to try to find information on the whereabouts of Heather. I found it odd that she wanted to meet up at a suspicious place but then again, this was the 1st time in a long time I saw her really enthusiastic about something. Yea. That took me like 50 tries. Probably less but still. And I tried my best to not spam healing/reviving but I probably wouldn't have been able to beat this Gym Battle if I didn't. And I didn't forget. It's still not technically apart of the team. More like a... Pokemon Traveling Companion. But I think next time I'll make a separate thing for it and include it for the rest of the episodes.

Where’s your girlfriend? Matthew: Uhh... We’re umm- Cain: Complicated right now. Anna: Ohh. I’m sorry. I won’t ask again. Matthew: It’s alright. Shelly: Umm… Can I ask something? Anna: Sure Shelly! Shelly: You said you were following Heather, right? What happened? Cain: Let’s see. If I remember correctly, I caught up with her briefly. Then this older guy, I think his name was Blake, said he was going to take care of her. She seemed ok with it so I figured it was fine. The moment I heard Blake, I felt like I had gotten punched in the stomach. Both me and Shelly looked at each other. We both knew that was bad news for Heather. Now the mission to get to Ametrine City just got a lot more meaningful. Cain could see the look on our faces. Cain: Something wrong with that? Shelly: It’s just… I’ve only heard bad things about him… Matthew: And if anything Cal said is true, then he’s definitely bad news. Shelly: I need to talk to her. So… I-I’m going to Ametrine too! Matthew: You’re gonna have to wait. Shelly: But… why? Cain: The path is blocked. Ohh no. Anna: What’s wrong? Cain: I just remembered. Since the path is blocked off by that big ice wall, I’m afraid no food will be able to get to Ametrine City and the people there will starve. Shelly: Wait… Heather might starve? Matthew: Over my dead body. Anna: Wait. Hold on. If that’s the case, wouldn’t she just fly somewhere else? Shelly: I mean I guess… I still wanna go there and make sure though… Anna: So… there’s just a giant iceberg in Ametrine Mountain? I don’t remember that. Anna started to pace back and forth while trying to think of a solution of our predicament. It was actually kind of cute to see but I could tell she was serious about this. But then someone started walking towards us. Both me and Hardy couldn’t believe who it was. Matthew: No. Fucking. Way. Hardy: You have GOT to be joking me! Fern cockily strolled on up to the barrier. We couldn’t believe that he was on the other side of this area. But he wouldn’t have joined up with Team Meteor right? He wasn’t that much of an asshole right? I walked up and into the gym but when I got in, I heard someone crying. I looked over and saw Laura crying. While we did have this rift between us, I still cared about her. I could tell she was trying to be serious with whatever she was about to say but the tears that rolled down her cheek made it difficult for her to stay in that serious state. Charlotte ran out of the Gym. I stood there for a couple of more moments and then sluggishly walked out as well. I didn’t know what else to do so I started to walk back to Saphira and Hardy. I was feeling really down about what had just occurred. I was somewhat snapped out of it though when I heard Aya screaming for someone to let her go. I ran over to Hardy and Saphira. Sirius: Ahh. So they didn’t think we had anything left of value, they had no reason to threaten Aya’s life. Saphira then asked me to confirm it and told me to go to where she said she was gonna go. I decided to go and check even though I knew she was right. I made it to the gate of the city and saw Charlotte sitting on a chair with a cocky smile on her face. Matthew: You’re something special Charlotte. Charlotte: Thank you. Glad you caught on. Matthew: If you didn’t wink, I probably would have at least a 50/50 shot at that. Charlotte: Since Team Meteor doesn’t know you have that, they’re going to be wasting their time going to the Control Center. Matthew: Double win. Charlotte: Exactly. Ohh yea. Anna told me about the issue with Ametrine. I guess that’s why you came to my Gym earlier huh? Matthew: Yea. I kind of gotten distracted with that whole Laura… thing… Charlotte: Yea. I’m still sorry about that. So you need to use Dive huh? I don’t know who’s bright idea it was for a Fire Gym user to enable a Water Type move but whatever. Matthew: Yea… That is weird. The hell? Charlotte: But hey. This is gonna be my 1st proper battle in mom’s Gym. I gladly accept your challenge. I wanna see how strong you;ve become since we last saw each other. Matthew: I know exactly how you feel. Charlotte: We should do it now while Team Meteor is distracted. Charlotte left and I prepped myself up for this Gym Battle. I had a feeling this would be the toughest Gym Battle I would have since being here. I ran over to the Gym but as I was about to go in, I heard Saphira yell. I ran over to see what was going on. On the other side of the psychic barrier, I could see Sigmund. Dr. Sigmund: Ahh. You’re here as well Matthew. You seem to be doing well. Matthew: No. Don’t talk to me. Saphira: Yes. You should be focusing on me. This barrier right here Sigmund is your life right now. And when it goes out, I swear on my own life, I will seek you out and strike you down. Dr. Sigmund: Yes, I’m well aware of your threats. Saphira: Ohh they’re not threats. They’re promises. I listened in as the 2 continued to throw insults to each other. It was kind of scary to hear Saphira threaten Dr. Sigmund like that but I knew in the end that he deserved it. I decided to leave them alone and go to the gym. I got there and went inside. I kept the Stantler inside even though it seemed like it wanted to come inside. I went in and went to the computer and touch the screen. Ame’s face popped up. Ame: Ohh hey Matt. Seems like you’re at Charlotte’s mom’s Gym ehh? Matthew: Yea. It’s hot in here. Ame: Niiiiice. Anyways, Charlotte uses Doubles like she did in her qualifying battles. Matthew: That sounds like it’ll be annoying. What else? Ame: If she’s anything like her mother, she’s gonna use a lot of Eruption and Heat Wave attacks. Matthew: Great. Double hitting attacks. Ame: That’s not all. Those will set the arena on fire which will power up her fire type moves. So you either extinguish the flames or literally fight fire with fire. Good luck Matt! With that, the screen went black. I started up the steps and was introduced with the puzzle of this gym. It was kind of like the “walking on all the ice once but don’t step on the same ice twice or else you’ll fall through” puzzle. Except this time, if you stepped on a tile twice, you’d burn your foot off. Luckily, I was lucky enough to not have that happen. I finally made it up to Charlotte. I stood on the opposite side of the arena. But just as Charlotte was about to say something, I heard a familiar Pokemon noise. Matthew: Hmm? -turns around- Rudie? What are you doing in here? Charlotte: Seems like he wants to battle. Why not use him? Matthew: Well I mean… he’s not really mine. I haven’t caught him in a PokeBall. Charlotte: Well that’s alright. Just don’t use 1 of the Pokemon inside your PokeBall. Matthew: Well I guess I could do that… Well Rudie? You ready for your battling debut? Stantler: -jumps up and down and licks my face- Matthew: I’ll take that as a yes. Charlotte: So what do you think of the gym? Matthew: It looks pretty nice. Charlotte: Yea. She had pretty good taste. It probably already shows but my mom was a Fire Type Gym Leader. Honestly, I didn’t mean to take after her. It just kinda… connected. Matthew: You ok Charlotte? Charlotte: The flames started to spread… at 1st, I was confused and scared. But then I realized what was happening. There was nothing I could do. So I just accepted it. Matthew: Accepted what to be exact? Charlotte: My parents death… But then I saw how really pretty they were… The fire I mean. Matthew: Uhh… You’re kind of scaring me Charlotte. Charlotte: When you realize you’ve done something that terrible, you have a choice to make. Matthew: And those would be? Charlotte: Accept the guilt or live with that burden for the rest of your life. So I accepted it. Matthew: Charlotte… I’m so sorry. Charlotte: It’s ok. I wasn’t interested in regret. You might think that I would have been traumatized by finding out I killed my parents right? But I didn’t. I embraced the flames. Fire is destruction. Destruction is beauty. When there’s nothing you can do about the creeping flame, just sit back and watch the show. So Matthew, I’ll put on a marvelous show for you! Just give into it already! The words Charlotte spoke kind of weirded me out but I didn’t have time to to feel like that, we had a battle to get too. This was a real tough battle. Probably the toughest Gym Battle I had ever had since coming to Reborn. But after a long, long battle, I came out victorious but just barely. I was also impressed with how good Stantler did. It knew some pretty good moves and the damage it did onto her Pokemon was great. Charlotte looked up at me and smiled. Charlotte: Nice job. Close match but it seems I’m still powerless. Matthew: You kidding me? You were the hardest battle I’ve had so far? Charlotte: Well thanks Matt… Maybe I’m not entirely free of guilt after all. Matthew: You’ll be alright in time Charlotte. Charlotte: I know… But it doesn’t matter right now. Here. This Cinder Badge is yours now which means you’ll be able to use Dive now. Matthew: Yea. I can save the people of Ametrine now. Matthew: Ahh. That makes sense. At leas- Wait… Did you say the other day? Wehttam: Yes. I have mortal soul. Matthew: How many days have I been out. Wehttam: It’s just been an overnight thing. No worries. In fact, you should be awaking very soon. Matthew: Ohh. Well good then. So where have you taken us this time. Just seems like the top of a building. Wehttam: Ahh yes. If you would, turn around and look below. There is more to this. I did as Wehttam had asked me to do and turned around. I saw the whole building that we were on top of. It was a really cool looking pink kind of color. But I never saw this building before. Matthew: Wow… This place looks awesome but I’ve never seen it before. Wehttam: That is correct. You haven’t. But when you do awaken from your slumber, this will be the place you will have to go to. Luckily, it is in the city known as Calcenon. Matthew: Well that’s a good thing. Won’t have to walk that much. Sooo… did that Chandelure freak you out? Wehttam: It had spooked me yes. But I didn’t expect that the flames of that Pokemon could burn a soul away. Matthew: I totally forgot about that. I’m sorry. We made it to some stairs and were just about to walk up them to get to Calcenon when a huge blast came from out of nowhere and almost hit Cain directly. Unfortunately, the stairs were totally destroyed. Matthew: Holy shit! Laura: What was that?! Aya: Oh my god! Cain! Are you alright!? Cain: I’m fine but holy moly. Whatever that blast was just barely missed me. Aww. You DO care. Aya: What? I do not! Hardy: Whatever that blast was, it came from over the city. Something’s going down. Aya: And to add to that, something’s coming down too. All of us looked up towards the sky and watched as the figure flew closer to us. As it got closer, some of us were able to notice who and what was coming down towards us. Matthew: Wait. A Dragonite? Isn’t that- Laura: Saphira! Saphira: Are you all ok?! Hardy: We’re gine but what’s going on up there? Saphira: Team Meteor had occupied Labradorra City and is using PULSE Machines to control the area. Matthew: I know some things about PULSE Machines. I was able to put some of them down. Saphira: You’re gonna come in handy then. Hardy: Ohh yea. We heard about the PULSE Mr. Mime on the news and we came to help. Saphira: I wish that was the only problem but not anymore? Laura: What’s going on now sis? Before Saphira could answer, a blast could be heard towards, what I only could assume to be, the city. Saphira flew back up with her Dragonite and fired a blast back. She then came flying back down to us. Aya: What is that? Saphira: That is Team Meteor’s assault. Now they have a PULSE Clawitzer seiging Calcenon from afar. Matthew: PULSE Clawitzer? Pfft. I doubt it’s stronger than my Clawitzer. Saphira: Don’t get a big head now Matt. Now as you can all see, I can deflect the attacks. But there’s collateral damage as you can see. I apologize for that. Cain: Ohh don’t worry about it. It’s fine. Just saw my whole life flash before my eyes. It’s no problemo. Aya: So basically a split-second porno? Cain: With slightly better dialogue. Matthew: Does it make anyone else uncomfortable how comfortable they are talking about it? Hardy: I second that notion. Saphira: Sorry. I can’t stick around to chat. There’s an entrance to the east. Go that way to get to the city. Laura: Alright sister. Be careful. Saphira then went back to the fight. We all watched as she vanished away into the sky. We all started to walk east as Saphira said to get to Calcenon City. As we made it to the bridge, a shot fired at the bridge destroying it. Aya, Stantler and I had luckily not been on the bridge when the blast connected. I could not say the same for Hardy, Cain and Laura however. I helped Aya back up to her feet and then we both looked down at our 3 fallen allies. Matthew: Holy fuck! That was close! Aya: Cain! Hardy! Laura! Are you 3 alright?! Laura: Ow! I landed on my back! Hardy: Oog… I’m good. Splitting headache though. Hit the rail. Cain: Geez. You just can’t catch a break can you Hardy? Hardy: What do you mean mate? Cain: Well 1st Terra and now you get slammed into the rail. You have taken 1 hell of a beating and not in a good way. Hardy: Wait. There’s a good way to get beat? Cain: Ohh yes. Laura: Well… At least I’m here with you 2 and not him. Matthew: Not the time for this Laura. Cain: I think this area is a lot more dangerous now though. Aya: Yea. Team Meteor is really making this more difficult than it has to be. Cain: Matt, do me a favor? Matthew: Sure. What is it? Cain: Just take care of Aya for me, will you? Matthew: Uhh… Yea. Sure. It was an awkward silence except for Stantlers once in a while grunts and noisy hooves. I could see Aya seemed confused about something though. Aya: So… why don’t you just put it in its PokeBall? Matthew: Ahh… It’s not technically mine. Aya: Wait. Did you kidnap this Stantler?! Matthew: No no! I just didn’t catch it. Aya: What? Why? Matthew: It didn’t want me to. Maybe it’s not ready or maybe it just wanted to repay me for saving it. Aya: Saving it? Matthew: Yea. An Ursaring and Machoke were beating it up and I battled the 2 and made them run away and then I helped heal up Rudie here. And when I went to come back to the circus after finding Hardy, it was outside waiting for me and offered me a ride on its back ever since then. Aya: Ohh wow… That’s a sweet story. I can see why Rudie really likes you. Have you ever battled with it? Matthew: No but that’s up to Rudie after all. Aya: Hmm. You’re really kind to your Pokemon aren’t you? Matthew: Yea… They’re my family. So yea. I am. As we were making it up a hill, we heard another blast attack hit something. When we continued forward, we could see another bridge had been destroyed. Most likely another stray blast. We were both annoyed by this because it probably meant we would be coming into the city later than sooner and it was already starting to get dark. We found another cave and ventured into there but as we got in more, we saw a pair of some Team Meteor Grunts. We engaged them in battle and surprisingly worked rather well together. Maybe it was because I had a couple of Poison Types on my team or maybe we just clicked well when battling together. But when we went into the next cave, we found ourselves in some kind of beaten down warehouse kind of place. It seemed out of place here. Matthew: What is all of this? Aya: I have no clue. I thought it was just supposed to be a random cave but… this is way too strange. We continued through the cave and continued to battle more Team Meteor members. There were quite a lot of them but we were able to get through them. As we continued to walk, I wanted to know the relationship between Hardy and Aya. Matthew: Soo… I ain’t your brother and I’m not the time to pick on you. So be real with me. Are you and Hardy together? Aya: No! I mean… Of course not! Matthew: Aya, like I said, not gonna make fun of ya. Aya:… Ok fine. Yea. We are. Matthew: There. Now was that so hard to admit? Aya: Shut up. -chuckles- Matthew: Hey. I could see something brewing there the last time I saw you 2. Aya: Yea. He is a really great person. So sweet and kind. I can’t stop thinking about him. Matthew: You 2 deserve each other. Aya: Since you asked about me and Hardy, I’m curious. How are you and Laura? Matthew: I, uhh… Aya: Come on. I told you. Now you tell me. Matthew: -sighs- I guess it’s only fair. We’re… not really doing too good. Aya: Yea. I could feel the tension between you 2. Matthew: She was totally eyeing up another dude and since I accused her of it, it’s been bad ever since. Matthew: It’s ok. Something’s eventually gonna happen. We continued to walk through the cave but once again, we came upon the warehouse like area. Aya was about to walk through a door but I stopped her and motioned for her to hide on the corner of the door while me and Stantler hid on the other side. I peeked into the room and could see only 1 Team Meteor grunt but I knew who it was. Since I couldn’t see any other grunts in there, I felt more confident we could take this person out. Matthew: Alright. You ready Aya? Aya: Yes. Matthew: Alright. And Rudie, just in case, stay in here. If I need you, I’ll shout out to you to help alright. Stantler licked my face, which I took as it agreed to me. Aya and I walked into the room and walked upwards to the Team Meteor Grunt. Turns out there were 2 more but that didn’t bother me. At least for now. Matthew: Well, if it isn’t you Eclipse. Eclipse: Ohh good. It’s you. Aya: You 2 know each other? Matthew: We’ve been in battle before. And if you’re here, that means that- Aster: Well lookie here! Look who showed up! Matthew: Yep. There’s Aster. Aster: Hey! I’ve caught onto you Matt! All those nice things you’ve said to me were just to distract me so I wouldn’t be able to catch onto what you were doing! Well not anymore! Matthew: Somehow, I don’t believe that. Eclipse: You’re right to think that Matthew. Aster: Grunt! Go for back-up! Team Meteor Grunt: Y-Yes! -leaves area- Eclipse: Aster, is that really necessary? Aster: I know exactly what you mean Eclipse! Eclipse: I don’t really think you do. -sighs- Let’s just get this over with. The battle came to an end and I was so thankful for having Aya here. If she wasn’t here, I would have for sure lost this battle. But I could tell something. Eclipse didn’t put her all into this battle. It was as if she wasn’t even trying. But what happened next shocked me. Eclipse: I’m done. You 2 win. Aster: No Eclipse! Don’t give up! We fight to the end! For Team Meteor! Eclipse: Let me rephrase that. I’m not done. I’m quitting. Matthew, Aya & Aster: What?! Eclipse: And I’ll prove it even further that I quit. Matthew and… other girl, I’ll even turn off the PULSE Clawitzer ofr you. Eclipse went over to the computer screen and punched in a different keys and the screen read “PULSE Clawitzer deactivated.” Me and Aya looked at each other. While this isn’t what we came here for, we had done something really good to help with the fight against Team Meteor. Eclipse: That’s what you came here for right? Matthew: Actually- Aya: We just got lost and wandered in here. Eclipse: Ohh… Well I’m glad you did. I wanted to do that. Aster: I don’t understand. What in the hell are you doing Eclipse? Eclipse: Seriously man? I LITERALLY said it 3 different times! You really are that dumb aren’t you? Aster: But I… Why?! We were going to change the world together! Eclipse: Yea. Well, I’m backing out on that now. This is not the change I wanted. Since we’ve joined, all we ever seem to do is hurt more and more people. And Pokemon as a matter of fact. You think these PULSE Machines aren’t hurting them? Aster: B-But in the end- Eclipse: This isn’t worth the end! No 1 we love will be in the new world! So what is even the point?! Aster: I don’t understand… Eclipse: That’s right. You don’t. You never had a family. You were brought up on the street and the only 1 you ever had to look out for was yourself. But that’s not a luxury everyone can afford. Aster: But Eclipse… Team Meteor gave me a home. I owe them my life! I will serve them til my dying days! Eclipse: Great. Awesome. Couldn’t be happier for you. But I don’t care. My father lives in Calcenon City. If 1 of the Clawitzers’s attacks hits his house, then that’s it for him. We may have been assigned to guard the power station for it but I can’t just sit here and make my dad in Schrodinger’s Meowth. Aster: Who’s what now? Eclipse: And ever since I was teamed up with you, I’m pretty sure I lost IQ points. Eclipse seemed to really be giving it to Aster. Aya and I were contemplating just sneaking out but just as we were about to, Eclipse started to talk about Team Meteor. Apparently, Solaris was the original leader of this team but then started to talk about Lin and how she started to raise through the ranks. But just as she was about to talk about her, a voice shouted out. Sirius: Chandelure, kill her! Eclipse: Aughaughaugh… Aster: Eclipse! Matthew: Holy- Aya: Shit! Sirius: Turncoats will not be forgiven. Aya: W-What’s happening to her?! Sirius: The flames of a Chandelure burn away the soul. Just hearing that sentence made my stomach feel ill but I didn’t know if that was my actually stomach or if Wehttam had something to do with it. But while my focus was on that, Sirius tried to do the same to me. Aya, pushed me to the ground and got in the way. Sirius then grabbed Aya by the hair. Matthew: Hey! Let go of her dude! Aya: Ow! Ow! Ow! Sirius: Silence the both of you! You Matthew… You have friends headed to Calcenon correct? Matthew: That’s of no concern to you. Sirius: Heh. Change of plans! You, girl, will make a fine hostage. Let’s move. Aster: I… I’m not gonna leave Eclipse. Eclipse: Do what you will with the body. She’s gone. Destroy the entrance Aster! Aster grabbed Eclipse’s body and waited for Sirius and Aya to get out of the area before destroying a big portion of it. I looked in the direction they left. I felt horrible. Aya saved me and she got kidnapped because of it. I felt so bad for letting this happen. I felt like we had just gotten closer and now she was gone. And then another thought popped into my head. Hardy. How would he take this? I had no other option except to continue to get to Calcenon City. When I got out of that area, the rest of the way to Calcenon was just a snowy, grassy way. A couple of trainers to beat but that couldn’t even distract me from what transpired in that cave. I finally reached the gate that lead into Calcenon but sitting there was Hardy. I got off of Stantler and psyched myself up for this. I walked up to him. He seemed happy to see me. Hardy: Yo Matthew! Matthew: H-Hey Hardy… Hardy: Cain went off to go see some friends of his who are up here I guess and Laura went to see her sister. Matthew: That’s good to know… Hardy looked back where I came in from to see Aya but he didn’t see her. His happy expression turned into a worried 1. I took a deep breath and told him what happened. His worried expression then went from being worried to extremely pissed. He hopped off of the chair he was on and walked up to me. Matthew: H-Hardy? Dude? Hardy: What is your problem? I was expecting you to protect her and you couldn’t even do that?! Matthew: I get that you’re angry but you don’t even know what happened! All my Pokemon were fainted and- Hardy: You still let her get taken away mate! How can I forgive you for that?! Matthew: I-I… didn’t mean to… Hardy: You son of a- With a powerful yet swift motion with his arm, Hardy punched me square in the face but even before I hit the ground, I was completely knocked out.
