    Officially hooked on Baldur's Gate. Only took me 20 years to try it.

    Ys VIII is actually proving to be really fun! Spent the entire weekend playing it. Taking a break tonight though to try Baldur's Gate out for the first time!

      Ys Origin and Seven are two Ys games I hear come up again and again if you still remain interested in the series. I plan to try one eventually but...I've get a huge backlog.

      Thanks! I'll keep them in mind. Ys VIII has been my first experience with the series and I'm enjoying it. I very well may check out the rest of the series. But, like you say, I have a huge backlog as well!

    Ended up grabbing "Ys VIII" yesterday. Pretty stoked to play it Friday!

      Ys series is pretty great from what I hear (I'm a trails fan so I hear of it from time to time)

      I've still never had the opportunity to try a Trails game. I hear they're great!

      I mean it pretty much is starting to become my favorite franchise so I gotta keep myself refrained from going off. They are simple and predictable stories but they are very, very well written.

    I don't play mobile games often, but boy is Final Fantasy Opera Omina fun! I'm hooked.

    Halloween Party is on Saturday. I forgot how much fun it is to get ready for these things but boy is it a lot of work! My wife, though she told everyone it was a pot-luck, has already locked herself into making 5 different "spooky" dishes! Oh, and decorations...she's about to make us go broke with decorations...At least this should be an awesome party!

    Today I learned that Mark Hamill did the voice for Goro Majima (my favorite character in the series) for the English dub of the original PS2 Yakuza game.

    Started Divinity Original Sin 2 on the PS4 last night with my wife. Loving it!

      now that's a good game. cant play it myself sadly cuz my laptop can't run it well enough, but for what I managed to play it was amazing

      I'm really digging it so far! My wife and I adored the PS4 version of the first game. We have a hard time playing games together as our tastes are so different, but Divinity seems to have enough we both enjoy that we can spend hours couch co-oping. I find DOS2 a really great upgrade so far. Lots of little changes and upgrades I enjoy from the first game. Plus I enjoy the characters much, much more!

    Had my solo first experience catching, cleaning, filleting, and cooking bluegill over the weekend. Turned out great!
