The baseball game in STL was fun! Sitting on the side of the highway after my car pooped out in the middle of the night was not as fun!

Finished MGS3 last night, now it's on to MGS4 for the first time!

St. Louis bound this weekend! Can't wait to catch a baseball game and hit up some anime and used game shops!

I see the new banner is up, which means its that time I suppose. Time to wrap up MGS and Octopath, and get ready to dive back into Reborn!

Emuparadise taking down all its games honestly makes me sick. I don't blame the site at all, I understand the pressure they were being put under. What upsets me is so many retro games are going to be lost and out of reach for so many folks now. It's not like I can go hit the local game store and buy PS1 games any more, or if you do find them, they're marked up. Hell, most of these 20+ year old games aren't even available to purchase digitally!
Emuparadise offered great and safe downloads that let people experience a world of gaming they wouldn't be able to nowadays. It's just a big shame.

Thanks so much @Q-Jei. That means so very much. Luckily, currently in my area the weather is cloudy and rainy and cooler than it has been, which is actually what I'm believing is helping to attribute to my improved mood and energy. The summer heat just drains me! It's only August but I'm already gearing up for autumn!

I know what it feels like. Sadly, the things are going wrong in Europe too, especially in the South of Spain where the thermometer has exploded, reaching 48°C. But there's still a way to counter or avoid it in France, where the weather is way cooler than there. I must say that firemen are the true international heroes of this summer, they deserve praises and respect for their actions. Otherwise, staying alone in the heat is not that a good thing. As long as there's someone by your side, there's still a chance for the moral to not reach the deep end.

As someone who's earliest memories involve Winnie-the-Pooh, I can say truthfully that "Christopher Robin" was a great movie. Beautifully done, had a great message, and was legitimately funny. I guess there was a reason there were more adults than kids in the audience at my theater!

Anyone tried Octopath Traveler? Thinking about picking it up this weekend. I enjoyed the demo.

I really struggling with being an antisocial introvert some days. The one good thing is if given time to prepare I can fake my way through things very well. It's when things get sprung on me that I clam up and my shyness and stuttering comes out. Like and impromptu work BBQ, and when I can't bring myself to attend, I get (jokingly of course) " what are you? Antisocial or something?"

Finished Metal Gear Solid 2 last night for the first time. Holy crap did I love that game! The last hour was a trip! Can't wait to move on to MGS3!
