  2. after finishing Uranium championship last night: my opinion of the game is: meh. don't think I can be bothered to go do the hinted postgame stuff.
  3. Insurgences difficulty mostly depends on how you play. it offers an easy grinding method with the secret bases, so if you use this and have a decent team composition it shouldn't be too challenging, but not a total cakewalk either. if you don't use this or use it very sparingly, you'll be going into most tough fights underlevelled, which can ramp up the difficulty a bunch and make the game more of a challenge.
  4. It's no reborn, but Insurgence was pretty enjoyable for me. Can't compare it to rejuvenation because I only got round to beating 2 gyms in that before I got busy and haven't made it back to playing yet (but I will someday soon!) Insurgence 1.2 will be coming out fairly soon, which should bring the game pretty much to completion, which would be a good time to start I guess

I think there were several factors working against uranium when it came to the taking down. -The obvious one was the publicity it got, Nintendo couldn't exactly feign ignorance there -Fakemon, but not just Fakemon, Mixing fakemon with realmon and using realmon cries for fakemon. -Use of music from the official games But what do I know?
  7. I've always liked Drayanos hacks, especially as the gen 6 games were so easy, even compared to the other main series ones, but I honestly have no idea how to go about playing RR/SS....
  8. No need to apologise, you're doing something awesome by your own choice and still working very quickly compared to most other things! I just asked so I knew whether to keep checking for more updates like I was =).

  10. I think the save flagging is a good idea. However, would it be possible to just flag the Pokemon affected? I.e the ones that have been encountered with the IV mod on or ones that have relearned a move not normally on its relearn list? It would kinda suck to use these helpful mods for your singleplayer comfort and then want to do some online interactions with pokemon unaffected by the mods but have to restart the game instead. If thats not easily doable, I guess people can just suck it up though.
  11. maybe if there is any risk for reborn, before the full release we could have a patcher/update downloader included within older versions like uranium so that even if the links got taken down, those with an older version could still update and enjoy it.
  12. I'm far from a Fire Emblem veteran but I found hard/casual on Awakening was a nice balance with no permadeath (I'm the same with permadeath, for me it basically means if any unit dies its a game over/reset because I don't want to lose anyone, which can therefore make it somewhat tedious.)
  13. Because this is Reborn, to my knowledge Draco Meteor is unavailable and Scald is a massive pain to get. I prefer Surf over Hydro Pump because of out of battle utility, full accuracy and triple the PP. you generally don't miss the extra power because of the 100% critrate for 2.25x damage. sometimes having two buffing moves is undesirable and from my experience an unboosted kingdra with good speed EV's and a Timid nature is passable if you want that 4th slot for coverage damage.

Not seeing how dragon dance increases the damage of special moves.... the speed is nice, but if you just want speed, run agility. focus energy+sniper+scope lens is very nice for a special set, I know. that should give a power boost that is between 2 and 3 dragon dances. also if we even get access to a Draco meteor tutor... oh boy. Wish generally seems better on a bulky pokemon and gardevoir is quite fragile, my preferred set for reborn is Moonblast, Psychic, Calm Mind and Misty Terrain because overriding field effects is incredibly useful.

Ah the good ol "fight fire with fire" strategy for charlotte. my strategy on my first (and only) run was similar, except it was typhlosion using STAB full hp field boosted flash fire boosted eruption to double OHKO and his partner to throw potions at him to keep him topped off for full power. don't even remember if I lost a pokemon or not, might've been a couple.
  16. The mega ring/other accessory isn't obtainable yet anyway so even if it was it wouldn't be usable.

  19. even with a good strategy, Cincinno can still force resets with rockblast flinchhax also magneton should be obtainable where you are, but may require a fair bit of training (but will also help with the birds). my strategy for clefable was actually just to out-calmmind it with gardevoir.
  20. Woohoo I love pictures! and not sure how I managed to misread the sash/band thing..... Rules mean you aren't allowed to switch rotom out of its normal form right? darn.
  21. Toggleable sounds like a good idea, or maybe you could make it drop down when you hover your mouse in that area of the screen and then retract when you move it away (is it easy to do something like that?)
  22. You could do Cyndaquil/Shaymin for the cutest hedgehog ever.
