Wait if you never played pure pendulum, what did you play with pendulum? A deck with a pendulum engine? Because in general I find that pendulum decks with too much non-pendulum monsters, bricks too much. The only thig that came close to it was deskbots but even then I felt the nature to brick.

Sometimes, I wonder if scientists write up the most easiest stuff in the most unreadable gibberish just to make themselves feel smarter.

@ShaylaShay No needs for trades just some move/item switches and a max revive (though that revive was a precaution I eventually didn't need sorry), all moves can even be put back if necessairy. Game.rxdata

Meh, I mean it is either trading gets abused or no trading at all. At any point a pokemon could have been traded that allows gives a trainer an advantage it shouldn't get. I get that balance is important but at the same time trading was always available. Heck people even hacked the game to give other people a certain set of mons. So making it a bit more accessable is not really that much of a deal to me.

Our government released a game to teach children save energy. They also did half-decent job at it. Must say I'm impressed.

Gen 4 is with cynthia right? Nope can't hate that gen. Also the story of gen 5 was actually quite decent.

[S/M Disscusion] You, Your Team, Your Experience
FairFamily replied to Chase's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I just beated the elite 4 and these are my thoughts on my team: Litten->Torrecat->Incineroar Sadly my experience with this line was very strange. It was fast it hit quite hard when it was a litten/torrecat but when it evolved it went downhill. First it was it became slower and then it also it had to rely for a long on fire fang for a physical fire move, making it very mediocre. No fire punch, no blaze kick, flare blitz sounded nice until you started to suicide because you took a hit beforehand. Shame because the z move is just awesome. Rockruff -> Lycanroc (Midday) This one, is in my opinion quite nice, it was fast and it hit hard. The movepool is mediocre but it had stab, priority and a simple coverage for most situation. Not great but sufficient. The fact that movepool updated made the experience quite smooth and enjoyable. Bounsweet / Steenee / Tsareena Ok, bounsweet and steenee were bad but Tsareena kicked ass, trop kick is a great move which was great utility and power combined but that was about it for a long time. I felt it a bit at the end but still when it learnd high jump kick eveything was fine again. Good pokemon. These were the staples I used them for the majority of the game. The rest I used for various parts of the game until they fell off. Toxapex, Ninetales, and Pallosant where all introduced after saving Lillie from aether and suffered from being underleveled due to a lack of leveling options. Mareanie/Toxapex Catching this was a pain in the ass. However the pokemon did pay off at the end game quite nicely when its level almost matches that of my oponents. Baneful bunker was not as good as I hoped and might have almost cost me some fights. Merciless however was great and reacted better then I hoped. It zlso basically walled and stalled the entre fight against Hala. It also played a crucial role against the ghost elite by laying toxic spikes. Alolan vulpix/Ninetales This one was quite a bit disspointing.Steel is a huge weaknes which was not a good thing for this pokemon and to me it didn't hit hard enough for it's frialty. The only fight it realy shined was aginst the ghost elite four where I managed to layer of toxic spikes for hex and managed to set up a nasty plot. SandyGast/Pallosade I din't use it often due to being underleveled most of the time but when I did use it I got disspointed. Mostly because the type advatages were against special attackers. So I won't say it is bad but I did not get much mileage. The rest got replaced at some point: Yungoos/Gumshoos: Ok this one is bad. The only time it shined was right after it evolved bt it lost relevance quickly afterwards. Biggest issue was that I still needed to use tackle as stab for a long time, for a pokemon with mediocre stats that was bad. Pikipek/Trumbeak This pokemon was quite good, pluck was a nice niche and a decent stab. In general it performed well with decent attack/speed and movepool. I dropped it immediately after it evolved due to its new design. Mudbray/Mudsdale Honestly it did not disspoint, good bulk and good damage. Coverage was ok. The only reason I dropped was because my team was too slow not because he was bad. Wishiwasshi I tried to use this one as a special attacker. Schooling was better then expected and the early game power was huge, winning me may fights. Over time he became a lot weaker due to a bad special move pool and the low hp started to take its toll. -

Your opinion on "Continuity of mechanics"?
FairFamily replied to Rot8er_ConeX's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I'm in the middle aboutt this one, because how far must you go by maintaining CoM? How about movepools/abilities, new typings? Can you change moves? Can you change the abilities of pkmn? Can you modify typing? Because if you want to be consistent you'l have to sacrifice the option to change all previously generated pkmn/moves and abilities. This woul ruin any chance of balancing the game. Then if you want to be consistent by only introducing new things, you cannot introduce new evolutions like weavile and rhyperior because inconsistency with eviolite. So I think that in some case breaking the CoM for some changes is necessairy. Yep, I got one in desolation which is a similar fangame. -

Certainly not, I mean final fantasy crisis core had an extremely sad ending but was still enjoyable. Happy ends are just easier to write in games due to the empowering nature of a game. By overcomming challenges you feel you have accomplished something and are advancing in a positive way. Breaking of with a sad ending just doesn't feel right. If you write your story well, you can actually break this trend before it becomes a problem and write a different ending without being forced into a happy one.

Well I remember one. It was in gw2: a mmo with a bit of vertical axis. So with this in mind you get the option to do some wvwvw where 3 servers duke it out in battles over 4 maps. There is one additional map which is not really objective to the whole server battle with a jumping puzzle. Normally the map is quite peaciful with the exception of the occasional troll. People did their jumping puzzle and nobody killed anybody. Now that time the setting was a bit different being wvwvw league, where you can fight for the prestige of your server and some sweet loot. In order to be elligable for the loot you need to complete achievements like killing anough players, or complete enough wvwvw objectives but also complete that jumping puzzle. To make sure that people don't get slaughtered immediately on entering the jumping map, each server gets a pillar where their players are safe. Once you get of the pillar you can't get up and are free to be slaughtered. The first night of the league our server had control over the lower floor of that map. So the players of the other servers sat on their pillars and if they jumped down they were going to be slaughtered. Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem since there are the pillars where they are supposed to be safe. However if they get too close to the edge, I could use a skill that caused to them to be pulled of the pillar, I spent an entire evening pulling unsuspecting fools from pillars resulting in their death by the server. To make matters worse every time someone dies, their armor starts to break which they need to repair for a bit of bit gold in another map. I think I got most if not all of my required kills that night.

I would say fire pledge and mystical fire.

Would you marry a yandere Gardevoir for $1,000,000?
FairFamily replied to Tartar's topic in General Discussion
I would do it for free ... . I mean how well do you think yanderes take rejection? With the power it has, I don't stand a chance. Might as well give in and make the best of it. -
I do not disaggree that people should have an equal opportunity. The problem is that when the result is not equal, the "oppressed people" claim that the system was still rigged against them by the "non-oppressed elite" and demand that the system still be changed. Hence the "weird election system" or basically quota. This introduction of qouta results in a negative perception on the perspective on the defenders of the equal rights. Not fair to the defenders but not completely unjustifiable. Do you really think the oppressed can come up for their personal grievances even though public perception does not believe they are oppressed? Who would believe that? Statements like " Men can't be raped." are a clear example of such prejudice. My favorite is this one, "males in general perform worse in school then females, except the entry exam for dentists or doctors, we do not know why females perform worse in these specific exams but these exams are discriminating to females.". People expect the opressed to be oppressed and the unoppressed to be not oppressed when the roles are reversed well tough luck. The focus on the "opression of the opressed" does indeed hinder their chance to get their rights defended which is basically opression . This can put the defenders of the rights of the oppressed in a negative perception. Also do you even think they can group together for being oppressed without the dangers of being persecuted for it? To not being labeled opressers? Well , first there are more ways to make changes without legislation. There are awareness-campaigns, public announcements, budgetairy shifts,... . A hard quota is the easiest way, since it does not solve the problem but rather the symptons.

@Eviora Fighting for your rights is good but sometimes the result is quite atrocious . In my country, belgium, you vote parliamentarians directly by selecting the people you like on a list of the party you want to vote on. It is important to note that the ordening of this list matters in general the higher the better. Now do our political correctness the list has too be exactly 50% male and 50% female and the first two places have to be of oposing gender. The question that then rises is "What if the 2 males are the best politicians of the party?" or "What if there are more competent females then males", "Should the males make place for the female even though they are more competent?" Logic ditactes no, yet it happens now. So they feel oppressed and in a way they are right. The rules also work in the opposite way , so you could say both sides are equally oprressed which is stupid, but I digress. The fact that the rules are made for the female protection makes it feel that females are oppressing males. It might be not true but it eels like that. On top of that you also get a bit more of an attention problem, you see the problems of the oppressed people get more attention. Even though opression in the reverse is also possible. These problems are mostly ignored or waved away because they are the non-oppressed side and that doesn't make sense at first. So one side gets the attention for their problems and the others get far less which is to be honest unfair. This can make people feel that they are oppressed. The final one, is that the opressed party starts invading where people feel it shouldn't invade. It is difficult to explain but I think people can find examples where they think:"'Why are they complaining about this?". This also feels that even innocent things fall victim to the terror of political correctness. It may be right or not, but that is the sentiment. Well, a bit longer than I expected but here is why I think standing up for your rights can be considered neglecting/opressing the other sides.

Well contrary sounds good until you realize that the only thing serperior can do is leaf storm and hidden power (good luck with that). On top of that it learns it very late.

I don't think Greninja is that good. The movepool is kinda meh and it is incredibly frail. It needs to OHKO and between the lvl cap which the opponent breaks and the lackluster move pool I don't think it can do that often. I have had more luck with delphox. Delphox has a very versitile movepool with options like, light screen, mystical fire,will-o-wisp, fire pledge, psyshock, psychic... . On top of that it has a serious type advantage in the early game, where the teambuilding is a bit more difficult due to a lack of options. Good against all three rivals, good against a lot of early gym battles, good against all types of gyms you have to double, good against all pulses. Late game is not that good for delphox due to having dark, ground, rock, water and dragon matchups but most players have by then a balanced team so your starter is a bit less important.
