I wanna know what person at Nintendo looked at the name for the Nintendo Wii and Wii U and thought "Yeah that's a good idea."
I still despise the Nintendo Wii for all the garbage it brought and it's forced, gimmicky motion control nonsense. I'm just in-between with the Wii U for it at least being competent even though it lacked focus from a development standpoint. Had better games than the Wii tho.

The Xbox One's name was named that way because Microsoft were being a bunch of pretentious idiots and acting all cool by saying "This will be the console that this becomes one device that addresses all the entertainment that you want to enjoy on your TV."
The Wii and Wii U lose points for having an idiotic name that doesn't translate well to a Western audience, because yes, I do know why they named it the Wii. But most Americans are too stupid to read between the lines of what they were intending. The Xbox One loses points for having a naming convention that proves itself confusing and arrogant, made by pretentious developers trying to sound cool.
And to further run home the whole Xbox One thing... my personal rig is better than anything that console could ever offer, so no, you AREN'T going to be the "One" console for me. Fuck off Microsoft and fuck off with your stupid Kinect as well.
-
Bro-gamers are mostly the audience that buys that kind of console. Microsoft's thought process is: does it shoot and have wheels? No? Then we don't want it.
PS4 isn't even a factor in this, because at least they are consistent and has a naming convention that's simple and makes sense. It's not like Microsoft who's trying to be pretentious and acting intelligent when it's the most unsophisticated, and unrefined console I've ever had the displeasure of seeing.

I was rewatching the Zoroark Movie for the first time in years and the only thing going through my mind when Kodai was on screen was this:

I. Absolutely hate clickbait and the people who put that shit in their articles/videos/etc. Learn to actually produce content, and be an actually competent human being. Like... what are you THAT untalented that you have to resort to pathetic and desperate methods such as that? Get a real personality pal.

Or when they make a thumbnail with an arrow pointing at nothing, or circle an area of the image. Like... what the hell is that supposed to mean? There's nothing significant about that part of the image, just eff off, you lying scumbag. Thanks for wasting 30 seconds of my life that I'll never get back.
The worst case of this was when Pokemon GO was still a huge success last Summer, and people would upload "leaks" or "secrets" and there'd be an arrow pointing at some arbitrary point in the video.

I'm 22 years old now, and the only thing going through my mind is that I am 1/5th of the way to dead. That's a great way of looking at it, I think.
That said, someone on the internet, one day, will claim my life, sooner than my age will.

I'm inviting everyone on this forum to my college grad party. Sounds good? Cool, see ya in 1 year.
I'd be actually surprised if anyone here actually managed to show up XD -
I'm not sure whether to be flattered, or terrified:

I'm probably the only nerd who occasionally watches NASA Television:
The recent press release has me excited.

I've been so stressed for the past 58 hours that I did not sleep until 8 hours ago. I was so tired that when I tried counting to 10 I had to start over 4 times.
... It took me 4 times to count to 10.

If anyone is curious as to why I have been gone for such a long time, the answer is this: lots of things changed in my personal life and I've been so not in the mood for internet negativity and cynicism that I've been trying my best to avoid it at all possible. I was hospitalized for suicidal ideation, became medicated, and now am better, but at the moment I've just been working on fixing who I am intrinsically and improving my personal life. I've sought religious faith to help fill a gap in my life, just so I have something to believe in. Another thing is that I've been focusing heavily on my acting, since its part of my scholarship for school, so I've been doing tons of shows lately and been focusing heavily on that. I do plan on working on my game, possibly more in the summer, but right now I've had a lot on my plate. Lastly, the entirety of Nebraska has been flooded and badly. The town that I live in is one of few sanctuaries left. Meanwhile most of the state is flooded under several feet of water. At the moment I've been volunteering and helping out the community the best that I can.
But, for those of you who are interested, I am selling my manga right now for $15 dollars, and if anyone is interested, feel free to let me know.

If the thought ever crossed your mind that Dylan wears clothes similar to my profile picture, the answer to that is: yes. I do wear a sports coat very similar to that and I am always seen wearing a turtleneck, no matter what season.
These are the kind of things Dylan rambles about, before bedtime.

If you guys wanna have a good, hearty laugh, look no further:

If you haven't seen this before, then you're in for a treat. You need some of this in your life.

In-case you didn't have enough Tommy Wiseau, then here you go, how about a thousand of them?

Incoming dumb question, since I don't keep up with modern trends, like at all.
Okay, I'm a bit late to the whole Projared cheating thing, but my main, big, question mark is this: since when has polyamory started becoming a thing in the past 0 years? Did I blink and miss something? I was less taken aback by the whole scandle as I was the whole "it's okay to be poly-amorous in an America society" thing and just shrug it off like it's no big deal.
Am I late to the party of knowing this or is this just a very niche thing?
-
I think it's just acceptance of different genders, relationships, just way of living (as long as it doesn't hurt anyone) in general.
Personally I don't find a problem with polyamory as long as all parties have consented to do so. Many people actually are polyamorous, but channel their desire in the form of infidelity and that's what would not be ok imo
-
I suppose that makes sense. I'm very old-school and religious so I am not exactly one to get on the polyamory train, myself personally. But, if someone wants to do so then who am I to decide who can and can't be happy? I just prefer to have one relationship and call it a day. Given my track record with women one is absolutely where it stops. More than one and I'll lose my mind, haha.
But, at least now I know it's a thing in the US. I just thought it was exclusive to other countries, due to their religious and cultural practices.
-
I think it's frowned upon more in "Christian countries" because it's just not what we're used to culturally or religiously. It's similar to how we weren't used to anything other than heterosexuality once upon a time, and some prolly still have issues with that. But whatever someone else does in their spare time doesn't affect me and as long as they maximize their happiness while alive and don't take away others' happiness, I'm all good. And ditto about having more than one person in a relationship. I can't even maintain one relationship, I'd be a mess if I had more than one

It's been awhile, so I've decided to make an important announcement: I now work for the Department of Defense and am now making a healthy salary, which has put me in a much better spot than I was last year. Most of what I make will be put towards bills, savings, etc, while the rest will be put towards my game's annual budget. I will be getting back in touch with my artists and crew, to put something amazing together for all ya'll to see!
Also, I have a corgi and his name's Pepin:

Just a reminder that Mark Hamill is the fucking man as the Joker, because that laugh never gets old:

Killing Net Neutrality is a huge deal, and FUCK Trump for doing what he's doing right now. I don't normally, ever, talk about politics, but this is a huge rise for concern.

Made this in Unreal Engine 4. So far... I'm impressed with the results:
I couldn't find a way to hide the on-screen icons, and when it takes screenshots it literally takes them with whatever it is you're currently highlighted over :L Oh well, I'm proud of what I made here. Need to add in a sliding door, into my office XD
