  1. Radovan did in fact stop once Sena asked him to, recognizing that his friend was doing his best to not make the situation any worse, instead petting Zeta and nudging Rita's back a little, before he quietly urged them to, "You two should apologize too, at least we might be able to find Uno faster if we're not going around pissing everyone off yeah?."
  2. "It's not about how many swords she has with her Punch, it's about whether or not she can use one, and I'm not too keen on bringing a civilian with us into battle either," Atton commented as he turned to face the rest of the group, "And it's a good thing you're going with me then Mira, because I'm not much of a healer myself." He then nodded at Lyra before commenting, "That sounds like a fair plan to me, keeping civilians out of harm's way is why we came here first after all, and we can always put any wounded in the half track until we can get to a designated extraction point, you do have those right?."
  3. Radovan quickly realized that a bit of tact is needed here, and since everyone else here has all of the grace and tact of a small child, he realized that well, fuck. "I'm really sorry for what we said before! We can't leave this place just yet since we need to find a missing friend of ours too, but we promise not to bother your family any more, just, please don't cry alright? We just have to walk past you for a moment," he said before he gently and slowly tried to get Zeta at least to walk with him towards the pink glow, bowing his head and apologizing a little at the family as he walked by.
  4. Radovan meanwhile, focused on securing the scene a bit, sending out his Woobat before hugging it in his hands, bringing it up close enough for him to whisper the words, "Woobat, stick close to me alright? And watch my back, tell me if there's anyone else approaching." He then gently released his Woobat, letting it fly all around him as he gently patted Zeta on the head and tried to comfort her with, "And you too Zeta, try not to get separated from me or panic m'kay? I'll just ask these nice people to kindly not stare at us for being weird and having a face, and then Sena and Verna will find the ghost girl and Uno, and we'll all head there together okay, just stay calm." He then put on his best smile and waved jauntily at the children, "Hi there, may I ask you to please not stare at us?, my friend Zeta over here is kinda shy, she hasn't been out much and she naturally assumes the worst when people laugh and stare at her."
  5. >[Who Are You?] After a bit of time to ponder her options and waiting to see how the 'monster' reacted to Lucine's presence, she slowly walked up to the little creature, coming out of the shadows of the room to reveal her presence, and using a friendly tone of voice when she asked, "And what's your name? You don't have to reply if you don't want to, but it feels a bit awkward to pop out of nowhere and ask you questions like that when we don't even know each other, my name is Jun by the way, we're all kind of sight seeing right now."
  6. Radovan gently patted his Woobat as the others exchanged heartfelt goodbyes with Sena, thanking it for it's hard work so far before he put it back into it's ball, and let out a sigh before he stepped up to the worrysome cadet, and with great seriousness, said "Sena I happen to have been born and raised in the casino district, I think luck can go stuff itself, I'm coming with you, I don't think that Uno's going to be that easily convinced to turn back by this point, and to be honest I'd find myself regretting even becoming a cadet if I didn't go, no point in becoming a cadet if we didn't risk our lives in a thrilling adventure into the unknown when the opportunity presents itself right?," he smiled at Sena after he finished speaking, before he went back to his usual teasing tone of voice and said, "That and besides, if we let you out of sight again, that girlfriend of yours might drag you into trouble with the Chief again~." He took the time to lightly elbow Emma before he stepped up to the gate, and rather simply said, "Stay safe everyone, no use in us trying to save the Nexus if everyone drowns anyway, peace!." and walked into the breach with a heracross like stride.
  7. After performing a short stunt to shoot out the first proper crack on the giant skeleton with a complicated name that he can't be bothered to pronounce properly's core, Mot decided to get out of dodge, revving up his motorcycle's engines to help him evade the brunt of the next blow...that never came. He did a quick brake and leaned against the nearest pristine tree as he watched the giant skeleton disappear into a rush of petals, simply taking in the sight for a while. "Well that's one down already and we just got here, at this rate we'll be done before the week is!."
  8. "There's just one problem with that, that's all well and good for Sena and his Frogadier over here or Rita and her Rotom, but I have no idea if any of my or Cathode's Pokemon can even move that quickly, at most my Woobat just might be able to provide some aerial surveillance if she can pick Ghost Girl out from the crowd, but I don't know how much Cathode's Onyx can help this time," Radovan quickly pointed out as he took a couple of steps towards Sena in a nonchalant manner, before he suddenly grasped the man by his shoulders and said, "And did she tell you where she was taking Uno? And did she hurt her at all?."
  9. Radovan shook his head at no one in particular when he heard Ray speak over the A-Comm, and he let out a slight sigh before he said, "You know, I actually said 'Don't ever make us worry about you like this again' to Sena the last time this happened right? Because I swear, if Sena broke his A-Comm again this time, I'll be the one breaking his arm with a kick." After making that overly threatening statement, he said a simple, "Let's go," and ran towards where the equipment breaking twerp and the shifty girl were supposed to be.
  10. Mot uses Ten Men dead on the Gashakudoro's core, dealing a modest (5d10+12+21)+20% damage to it.
  11. Atton and his troops meanwhile, focused on learning more about the terrain they would be fighting in and having a discussion over a nice meal, reasoning that all of their current equipment are actually up to snuff, and that what little time they had to spare would be better spent improving themselves...and getting that mouthpiece down from the top of the banner.
  12. "Just try to keep your finger on the trigger if you don't need to use it, it's not just your foot you should be worrying about shooting," he then went off to pick out his own armaments, preferring to pick out the most reliable looking service pistol out of the cache, fishing out a capable of magazines for it as well, also taking a HF Knife he hoped that he never had to use, and a nice short barreled shotgun just in case things turned dicey.
  13. Radovan simply made sure to pay close attention to where Rita's hands were whenever possible as he listened to 'the plan' and nodded, chances were high that this could all go horribly wrong anyway, but he was quite sure that Sena wouldn't let his A-Comm get broken like last time, and that they should be able to arrive at a reasonable amount of time.
  14. Solomon gave Friedhold a bit of an odd look, before he said, "What is it with megacorporations and committing crimes against humanity or releasing biological horrors into the populace anyway? It almost seems like they're doing it just for fun by this point..." He then turned a little to face Mar and said, "Well I hope that we'll never have to find that out, hum-insect meat's a bit iffy." Heidrun would, after picking up the last folder and giving it's first page a bit of a quick read, swiftly discover just why it was so important in the first place, since it's the document that told you what your mission actually is after all. Turns out that Ares actually has a fairly solid lead on where the group you're after has been hiding the stolen goods. Thought they were being smart when they hid it in plain of sight, warehouse in port of Seattle and all. Probably would have worked too if their face hadn't snuck off to a club after a meet up with prospective buyers and uh, got hot and sticky stuff liberally sprayed on his face in bed, more specifically mace, by an Ares agent, who wasn't even looking for him at the time. Point is, they're hanging out in a warehouse at the very end of the harbor itself, which they own, and you lot will be needing to infiltrate by 2:00 PM tomorrow to 4:00 PM, when most of their group would be heading out for what they think are further meetings with prospective buyers, leaving their rigger, a chubby Ork man of ill repute and foul language by the name of "B4N0ND0RF", to defend it mostly by themselves, which should be easy enough for a professional group of Shadowrunners like yourselves, right?. And of course the fun part is, the face hasn't told Ares anything about what the base's defenses are, other than the obvious sounding alarms to summon the rest of the group, security cameras, possible drone guards, and that one 'giant ass mecha that will frag you up' that Ares is pretty sure he made up, but they are, "Confident in your group's ability to swiftly gather information about a target and defuse the situation without blowing up the entire harbor", also apparently you won't have to worry about the police for this one so that's good, but only because no one's dumb enough to head into that gang held part of the harbor, which is...less so.
  15. "I'm working off of the assumption that entire hordes of greedy adventurers weren't stopped completely by panty shots and pepper spray Marina, but you do have a point, what kind of debilitating weaponry do they actually use?," Immanuel calmly stated before he slowly segued into, "Also CHALLENGER ONE has never shot up a school before, neither in the virtual world or the real one."
  16. Lucian confidently stepped up to the police line, having acquired and perused one of the PART's pamphlets earlier and brushed up on his crisis negotiation skills just a tiny bit in the drive over here, he felt about as ready as he could be when he said, "My name is Lucian Stahl, and these are my associates. We're with the PART, maybe you've heard of us? We were the non profit group that cleared out the docks (Shadestyle was too sleep to tell me how long ago we did this) weeks ago, and another one of our groups helped the PRT arrest a super powered criminal, and evacuate civilians from burning buildings. We had heard of the situation, and we were wondering if there is anything we could do to help, anything at all." He handed out a pamphlet to whoever he was speaking with to further explain the situation if it seemed that it would help.
  17. Immanuel moves one of his hands below his chin, adopting a traditional 'thinking' pose before he said, "Well then, do we have to attack all three fortifications to get to this ship's creator? Because if we don't then I've certainly got some ideas on which one I'd like to attack first, depending on what equipment the residents of the castle utilizes we might be able to assault them easily enough, not like this would be the first time we've fought against empowered conventional armed forces, but personally? I think I'd prefer to head to the cathedral myself, I've taken some time to work on my spell list a bit, and I'm quite confident in my ability to shut down or corrupt summoning spells now. What do you guys think?"
  18. Immanuel nods in response, slowly scanning through the provided pictures as he says, "Alright then, thank you for your help so far, but is there anything else you can tell us about the fortifications itsel-is that a high school?," he took a closer look at that particular one, walking up to Mr. Rege and showing it to him and the rest of the group while asking, "Are you sure that you took this from inside of the ship? Because this looks a bit...off."
  19. Kali rather loudly noted the positions of the approaching blood cursed as she continued to play her music, starting to move around the field more as she focused on building up her power and not getting hit, funnily enough practically doing nothing to help other than to try and grab the attention of the blood cursed as she yelled out to Rama, "Well don't just stand there, hit someone!."
  20. Mr. Rege would find Immanuel's own handshake to be firm, but a bit brief, as the man slowly released his gauntleted grasp to unleash another barrage of questions with, "Ah, do you know what 'they' are? Any information the adventurers have gathered when attacking the 'raid boss' would help after all, and, I hope you won't find this next question to be offensive, but do we have anything to worry about from the adventurers? Are any of them opposed to the idea of anyone else 'cleared the dungeon' so to speak? Since it seems like there are still quite a lot of adventurers here."
  21. "Well, I wouldn't recommend shooting anything off of people unless you're a really good shot, because the bullet might penetrate the zombie and go straight into the guy he's grappling even if you didn't miss, but I'd recommend a pistol or a hunting rifle for you, something easy to handle that doesn't have too much of a kick, and isn't fully automatic, we won't need need to lay down suppressing fire on the infected I think," As Edward said this, he searched around the room for something that fit his description, preferably some sort of low caliber semi automatic rifle or regular pistol for general ease of use, before he'd demonstrate the proper way to hold, fire, and load it to Poncio and gingerly handed it over along with any additional magazines or rounds they had. "Also remember to keep your finger off the trigger whenever you're not using your gun, and to never point the barrel at anyone you wouldn't shoot, friendly fire isn't, and I'd like to get everyone back in one piece, but I can't do that if someone accidentally shoots their own foot alright?."
  22. "More importantly as Iowa and others have already mentioned, CFW Trick is eating people as we speak, we can't just sit there and let such an atrocity happen can't we?," Atton chimed in seemingly out of the blue, before he realized something, and raised an eyebrow at their hosts as he went on to say, "And can we expect any level of support from this kingdom's military in our activities? Perhaps with keeping CFW Brave's mechanical minions from expanding his reach? Or securing the retreat of any civilians we find in the field of battle? We can't be in all places at once unfortunately. And do we have a way of keeping in touch with you two after we deal with CFW Trick? Back in my world we had radios, but I don't know if your world has anything like that yet, it could be useful for coordinating our activities, and for relaying any additional information you have on the other's activities." Atton then turned slightly to face Lyra before he coughed and said, "And as for Ms. Lyra's question, despite my age I am a Major General in the UCAS army, a rank that I believe was obtained through meritorious military service as much as my strategical thinking, I have been blessed with a small squad from the engineering corps and the M9 Half Track we operate, I have received some praise for my inspirational speech work and quick thinking in battle, and while I am too happily married to become an ordained priest, the good Lord has blessed me with some...minor healing and empowering miracles."
  23. Hirata reacted to the neoshadow's appearance the way practically everyone expected her to, letting out a surprised and slightly unintelligeble yell and running away to the nearest empty room to hyperventilate inside of a locker while rapidly rotating her rubber band powered submachinegun motor. Hirata uses spins up her Hyperion Transmurdera's motor, causing it to count as having two consecutive uses but not attacking anyone. Loadout
  24. Friedhold was the first to actually take a look at one of the documents, picking up the topmost folder marked by a red marker as 'Important', he opened it to find a document that described something called 'Project Aegis'. Judging by the information they were willing to provide, it was/is a semi successful attempt at creating an extremely lethal aerosol based agent meant to exterminate vaguely defined 'large insects' without endangering metahuman life. Unfortunately the contents of the spray was discovered to be extremely lethal to...fuck did they have to put the black bars there?. (Natural fucking 20 v 16) Of course, while a mere uneducated plebian would have stopped there, being the erudite individual that he is, Friedhold naturally deduces from the array of tiny little details presented to him throughout the document that the group is looking for some form of biological weapon, most likely some sort of modified bacteria by the concerns left in the document about how long it would linger inside of the environments it is applied in. You're not quite sure what sort of 'large insects' would require a years long bioweapon research program to deal with, but it doesn't seem like finding out would be a pleasant experience, Navin picks up a much lighter folder marked as an "After Action Report", an eyewitness report that describes how several samples of something called "AEGIS" was stolen along with the weapons shipment it was embedded in on it's way to Ares's main Seattle Headquarters. The armored convoy the samples were sent in was apparently intercepted by a flying man and a very well armored van, who collectively tore apart the well armed and armored guards, took control of the drones guarding the armored truck itself, and left the now driverless vehicle to plow into nearby traffic after taking anything they could fit into their van. The document goes on a bit to describe the nature of the attackers, as it turns out while the attackers had tried to scrub the drones and truck's systems clean during the attack; a spoken sentence contained within fragment left over from a mostly deleted recording was used to identify them as former members of the Berlin based group Anarchy 2039, an offshoot of the original AMB movement known for launching terrorist attacks on corporate enclaves as 'part of their mad quest to ensure the continued survival of a Berlin free from any corporate influence'. The attackers are known to have found work as Shadowrunners after the majority of Anarchy 2039 perished in the brutal German government backed military invasion of the then Flux state, and it is believed that they are planning on using the weapons shipment and AEGIS samples to fund or carry out a terror attack on Government/Corporate held West Berlin, as the newly elected district representatives are set to hold their first meeting within the next month. Solomon himself an increasingly worried look on his face while he read the contents of a folder marked as a "Target list". He let out a slight sigh when he dropped the document down on the table in front of him, taking in a deep breath before he said "Well it looks like we've got our work cut out for us, they've apparently caught or 'dealt with' some of the nastier ones, but the others? They're just....well I don't think the senator's gotten over that time Halley shot him that's for sure." There was still another folder left in the briefcase apparently, a particularly thick one that simply stated, "Operation Wintergreen", with a bold red marker written, "Memorize this one while you can."
  25. Jun patiently waited somewhere in the wings as Lucine greeted furry little monster, turning off her cloaking field to make her presence known as she watched what the monster's reaction would be, and find out what to do next. I'm basically invoking Ace Ambassador.
