Smogon website suggests a lot of strats, but i wouldnt follow them all, 'cause veteran players can see through Smogon strats and figure out their counter strats against the usual sets~There are clauses to follow like Moody clause, certain items that are banned etc, and Choice stuffs, Assault Vest etc are commonly used depends on the mons you designate their roles to be~Serebii.net also offers some insights in their weekly pokemon of the week~and youtuber thenationaldex also gives some advice on battle strats for particular mon they feature each weeks~ P.S. sometimes its a mind game, overprediction always happens~

You want the tanky one or offensive one? For tanky water types: Gastrodon - Only one weakness, with great HP and can also be quite offensive, and since your team has noivern and blaziken, i dont think grass would be a problem Carracosta - Fossil revived in spinel town, Solid Rock can minimize SE damage, plus Rock typing is great offensively, with excellent defense, White Herb and Shell Smash combo ftw~ For offensive water types: Empoleon -Piplup in 7th street event, great special attack and defense, and typing, but you've already got Klinklang, if you are not afraid of having repeated type, Empoleon can be great on your team Azumarill - Huge Power can ditch out a great deal of damage, Mystery Egg content Oh and also there is Ludicolo Ludicolo - ability Rain Dish, and item leftovers/Big Root and Leech Seed(egg move, might have to breed) stall the heck out of opponent, with its somewhat decent HP and special defense~

I am puzzled, but whatevs, i second that of mde's, Squirtle~

New pokemon duotypings would be great, like normal/rock(i know, 4 x weakness to fighting isnt exactly appealing but GF can create a new ability to remedy that, like what Solid Rock does), electric/rock(also 4 x weaknesses to ground, but hey there is an ability called Levitate and an item called air balloon, isnt it), fire/electric(although technically Rotom heat is one, but i would like to see a new species rather than a form of old mon) etc~

I dont speak Elvish either, but that wont stop me from welcoming you to Reborn, enjoy your stay~

LOL abomination, Jk, Snivy is cute and Serperior is royal looking with its slick beautiful form, indeed if you start out as Snivy, Coil-Leaf Blade might be a temporary measure until Ability Capsules come into your possession~

I can tell you the worst chikorita,The popular ones are Treecko, Turtwig and Bulbasaur, Contrary Snivy is not too shabby either, shines in late game, other than those, Chespin can be a good fighting type if you want it to be but personally i prefer Breloom over Chesnaught if they ever vie for a spot on my team as same duotyping~ P.S. You can find an event Chikorita for trade in game anyway so no point in choosing Chikorita, Turtwig is also available as a reward in an event late game~
