  1. Since you are closing in on Agate, are you gonna add Starly/Staravia or Rufflet/Braviary to your roster?Seems like Seattle's tenure is coming to an end, you have a tough decision to make(that water typing is actually quite handy for handling rock type and ground type)~and music to my ears that you whooped Bennett's asses, that creep(leave my waifu alone)~
  2. You need a rock climb and 7 badges to get the item you are asking for~http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14712 this thread has the details about April Quest~

    Uhm... Hi

Welcome to Reborn, hope you enjoy your stay~Overdue intros are better than none(i'd been there too, no worries)~
  4. That sucks, Golurk is so much better than Beeheeyem in so many ways~You can soft reset this time for Golett?
  5. Oh and i found Golett after exploration to the end of the dark cave adjacent to Corey's gym, the location where a totem pole is at, but ill fated doll is required, Golurk is quite an offensive mon with screens to help its longevity, and typing is unique Edit: first ill fated doll location in spoiler and rock smash can be obtained before Aya
  6. Let me guess, Sand Attack?XDDDDD Yeah, i think you'd better off with Whiscash if you decided to train water/ground, Aqua Tail is a nice STAB, plus i read field effect manual for the other quiry about how to deal with Shade and apparently surf and muddy water get a boost in short circuit field and do additional electric damage(probably reasoning behind it is because of the conduction)~anf Amnesia buffs up sp def because 'Ignorance is bliss' LOL
  7. Certainly, in Reborn's environment, Whiscash fares the best among them, Whiscash had been one of my valuable assets on my first run, Serra and T3RR4've got nothing on her, Serra's field breaker and T3RR4 couldnt do anything that can take her out~Poor thing, totally forgotten about Seismitoad, but Tympole is my Rejuvenation Water/Dragon duotype run member for now, i've gotta say it might not be the best among water/ground gang, but he can hold the fort on its own, besides i am counting on him learning drain punch and aqua ring, since none of the water type in rejuv has recovery moves in my current progress~Quagsire learns Amnesia, which is pretty great boosting move~
  8. I think you are good to go, too bad there isnt early ground/water(SwagsireQuagsire, Gastrodon, Swampert, Wishcash, i hope i didnt miss any) around, with only one weakness that is easily avoidable~
  9. Welcome to Reborn, enjoy your stay~and Grand Hall trainers are for grinding, different trainers per day(sometimes, there are three trainers at once)~
  10. Mono gen one run is probably the hardest run in Reborn monogen challenge since most gen one mons are in NU tier(excluding the megas), outclassed by mons that come after them~
  11. Didn't fare so well with Water/Dragon duotype against Galvantula bunch~

  12. Welcome to Reborn, enjoy your stay~Venomoth is a great mon, formidable beautiful QuiverDancer~Looking forward to your great pieces~
  13. Flame Plate or Expert Belt might be more plausible for her held items, cause those items increase power by 20 percent while Life Orb is 50 percent~
  14. Couldnt agree more, seems like we are sticking our noses into something where they dont belong, plus the fact that romance/friendship is a sensitive and delicate matter, an outsider could make things even worse than it already was~
  15. Per what Damage says, some cool mons evolve from 1st generation or the other way around offshoot from 1st gen, say the Hitmon line from Tyrogue, Crobat(which i find pretty cool as early available powerful mons) and Electivire~Since i've never done a monogen challenge before, i dont know if the cross-overs will violate any clauses in monogen run
  16. I could be biased on Ice types as they are my third favourite(along with dragons, love me some Goomy and Gibles), Dewgong or Lapras seem pretty cool to me in term of looks and inspiration(Dewgong inspiration derives from Dugong, which is an aquatic mammal in this corner, SouthEastAsia),besides their movepools arent too shabby either, signal beam(bug moves) to deal with dark types and psychic types etc, ice and water STAB etc~ Aerodatyl is fast and who wouldn't like fossils eh? Pidgeot is cool but i like other gen birds better, namely Braviary and Talonflame, but before those birds emerged, it was one of my favourites~Not a fan of Cloyster, but whatevs, i can turn the other way for its Ice typing~If Aero vs Pidgeot vying on your team for flying type spots, i'd be on team Aero, movepool wise it has an edge against pidgeot~
  17. Havent seen Monogen challenge in a while~Well, Lapras is a good pick, problem is it is pretty late(Dewgong on the other hand is acquirable earlier) and pidgeot is kind of lackluster in prowess without its mega~Aerodatyl can be obtained in the mid game, so i say go for Aero for your flying type, and regarding electabuzz you will not evolve it into electivire right(since it is a monogen challenge)?and Dragonite is not realistic due to current game only obtainable pseudo is metagross~and HMs in Reborn are replaceable by regular moves even without move eraser, so dont worry about permanent HM occupying your moveslots~
  18. I am sorry to hear that, my condolences~She wouldn't think that, i am not a parent, but i am sure that every parents are proud of their children no matter what, sincerely hope that time will heal your pain~
  19. Thanks, i will do just that Update:New line-up pre-Shade, gonna grind a little Slurpuff lvl 34 Relaxed nature Unburden moveset:Draining kiss, Fake Tears, Cotton Spore, Play Nice Pangoro lvl 35 Adamant nature Mold Breaker moveset:Body Slam, Vital Throw, Karate Chop, Work Up(clearly isnt working cause she got taken out before setting up) Infernape lvl 35 Quirky?(those neutral nature) Iron Fist(not much use at all) moveset:Flame Wheel, Close Combat, Mach Punch Hariyama lvl 35 Careful nature Guts(change by a.cap) moveset:Knock Off, Fake Out, Vital Throw Mr Mime lvl 35 Bashful nature(or also one of those neutral nature) Technician(aim for Filter but then good IVs dont come easy so settle with it) moveset:Double Screen, Psybeam(get this out of here soon), Confusion Granbull lvl 35 Careful nature Quick Feet(after Corey, not much help) moveset:Headbutt, Lick(Rock Smash replaced), Bite I came into possession of Corey's Croagunk(neutral nature, poison touch, other ivs are double digits, speed iv 0 worries me, but Sucker Punch can somehow remedy that?), someone in current team has got to go, any advice?
  20. OMG, dont remind me, looks like i choose the worst duotype combo ever~
  21. @Luna I dont know how Obybld'd react to that 'i dont trust item guide' remark XD It is great that you are not replacing Seattle with Mantyke, Mantyke's movepools are crap, no hurricane and huge special defense doesnt mean much when you are 4x weak to electric, at least Seattle can tank off some rock slides~
  22. Definitely a better choice, but use fire moves in lieu of ground moves on Shade as most of xyr mons are either immune to ground moves(namely Gengar and Rotom) or resist to them(namely Trevenant)~ P.S. Not saying not learning ground moves, keep them but not use them, just to clarify~
  23. Yeah, sooner or later one of the two (Hariyama or Pangoro) will get the boot for being too slow or 4x weaknesses to Fairy, that's when Medicham comes in~
