Totally forgot about common candies trick, what Luna(Pokemaniac is his/her/xyr trainer class in Forum XD) is trying to say is you decrease the level just below one level that light screen or any other moves that you find viable or useful and then grind it up again to relearn it(it's a trick when heart scales are out of reach), and monochrome comments ROFL, i think she might have saved and reseted before facing Shade so that money is conserved until she overcame Shade(which is an important way to save money)~

Rejuvenation Viability Rankings 2.0 [Community WIP]
TimTim replied to Fumble's topic in Rejuvenation
LOL yeah, part of the reason i brought up Clefable is because basically Clefable, Garbodor and Pyroar carried the weight of my team, Manectric was just my back up plan, and i am too lazy to grind up another electric type(or repeat species-Ampharos for instance in my Reborn playthrough), and Chubb, the spoiler lock seems to mess up a bit, some mons lock into the other mons~ Clefable A- or B+(i am struggling between the two as it is main powerhouse on my team) Availability:Before Keta's gym Route 2 as Cleffa, wild encounter Abilities: Magic Guard is favorable since there is a thing called field effect, can work around also with Unaware, Cute Charm is less desirable compared to former two Movesets: as Cleffa - Charm, Magical Leaf, Sweet Kiss, as Clefairy - encore, wake up slap, cosmic power, body slam, moonlight, moonblast, meteor mash, as Clefable - Sing, Disarming Voice, egg moves amnesia, aromatherapy, covet, belly drum, fake tears, misty terrain, wish, TM Dig, Shadow Ball, Charge beam Usefulness +early availability +bulky mon with good HP and special defense, coupled with cosmic power means tank +pure fairy typing, with scarcity of steel, and post Venam, it's a great typing +good repertoire of moves with versatility +until Saki surfaces, Clefable can be used for virtually every gym leaders in current release +face less competition from Swirlix and Spritzee, and Cottonee is in Mystery Egg, which occur by chance, so still the best fairy you can get +Magic Guard shields you from indirect damage -good moves arise very late for Clefairy which is a pain to raise -slow speed means probably getting hit before you can set up -Amber is fire type, resistant to basically every naturally leveling up moves that Clefable have under its belt -evolution is also a pain, raising happiness without Soothe Bell or paying extra for Gourmet Treat or running back and forth for haircuts, plus stone evolution to final stage And also are we allowed to rank Mystery Egg mons? If we can, i would like to reserve another seat for Flygon~If not, i would like to proceed and rank Bibarel also~- 161 replies

I got chastised by Odybld once for not doing research enough, so i am gonna tell you the location of first sun stone and leaf stone as well, see spoiler if you dont mind spoiling the place detail
-
Another early grass type which is pretty decent is Petilil which only shows up during sunny day(check weather forecast in tv at grand hall where you get your starter there), it evolves with sun stone into lililgant which is a killer if it is allowed to set up quiver dance, an NU killer machine~Bellsprout evolves into Victreebel by leaf stone, which are powerful in term of the attacks but frail and slow~However, both drawback is stone evolution occurs pretty late due to availability of evo stones~http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14182 this is the thread you requested~Suggest you expand your team into more than 6 mons(with rotation aside from party), 18 types of gyms seem too much for 6 mons to handle, besides grinding level is not difficult in Reborn anyway, you can quickly level up for reserve members when you need them~

That moment when you realize your native English speaking peer has worse English grammar than yours~
-
Onyx Ward where a girl lost her key outside her home~
-
Everyone chill, no need to get upset here, yeah i admit that i am a lazy person, guilty as charged , but Growlithe's evo should hold off for a while for much better moves to arise~
-
Growlithe learns Outrage by level 43 and flare blitz somewhere around 40 ish too, suggest you hold the evolution for a while, besides before you get mining kit, the evo stones arent available, i dongt know about items that lay around tho~
-
Not the game folder, the C drive that is in My Computer, and then click folder named 'users' and then folder of your current username, and there is a saved game folder, Rejuv saved games are in the Pokemon Rejuvenation folder
-
Tempted to choose yes(care less about cats as i am a dog person) but ultimately no, 'cause you have bonded with him so deep you nicknamed him, besides eating raw meats unsanitized probably gets you killed from food poisoning before starving does~
-
So you started with 6.2, it is pretty experimental at this stage, suggest you revert to v6.0 and start over, as Jan is currently busy with his college work and might not tend to Rejuv for a while~

So there is no obstacle at the gateway? which version were you playing before you updated to next version?
-
The route we are talking about is between route 3(after sheridan village) and Goldenleaf, before you went to Goldenleaf, Ren battled you and blocked the gateway to Goldenleaf, then Ren told you that only Venam can melt that barricade down, so you went back to Gearen City(by a courier service guy in Sheridan) to look for Venam only to realize that she was in the sewers and the gang found a mansion in sewers secret room, that mansion was where Marianette was found, defeated her allow Venam to assist you in dissolving the barricade(and also the mansion reverted to an abandoned torn building when Marianette and her father disappeared without explanation), i dont know if you remember doing this, this is a prerequisite/requirement to getting to Goldenleaf~
-
I dont know tho, probably restart the game, 'cause i dont know if you tweak the game and bypass the gateway that Ren blocked with barricade or what Milotic says, premature update without completing the previous version storyline also cause the stuck(i went back to Akuwa Town before i beat Valarie, and i got stuck when i updated, in my previous run T.T)~Someone with RPGXmaker may be able to help you, i dont have the software~
-
Welcome to Reborn, enjoy your stay here~Its great that you enjoy your job, not everyone is able to do that~I was drawn into Reborn by accident, i was introduced Rejuvenation first and then came to know Reborn, which was probably reverse from everyone else here~
-
You havent reached that far yet~It's after 8-9th gym~It's hidden and require completion of certain sidequest~
-
Nope, Rock deals SE damage on Fire, not Fighting, and dark type is SE against ghost type, so yeah to your first question, ability capsule hunt can be found in the on the hunt guide, i forgot about those places that yield A.Capsule, but next time before you use A.Capsule, save first to allow soft reset, money and items are so precious in Reborn ~http://www.serebii.net/xy/typechart.shtml type chart, fighting vs fire box, there is no symbol there, so it means neutral damage~
-
Ermm, only female Murkrow gives offspring Murkrow, babies always come from the mother, not the father~It follows the rule of maternal mitochondria inheritance~So, the breeding should be male Noibat with female Murkrow~and for convenience sake, a Flame Body or Magma Armor(I always use Magmar or Slugma) mon to help the hatching faster(it cuts the required hatching footsteps) into half in your party~
-
Fighting doesnt do SE damage on fire, its neutral, since you have meowstic as support, Delphox will have to sit in box for a while(dont worry, you will still need him afterwards, keep it in rotation, many of us keep more than 6 mons, 18 type gyms are just too much for only 6 mons to handle), you save the game before you use the Ability Capsule(we call soft reset) and then if it's not your desirable ability, dont save, and start up the game again and use Ability Capsule, repeat until ability you want surface~Chandelure is best handled by Houndoom then if Flash Fire is in~Pangoro deals with Trevenant(does pangoro have crunch, its dark move and is STAB for Pangoro since it is part Dark type)
-
Flying egg group, Noibat, HootHoot etc, but if you want a Murkrow with egg moves(if you plan on include into your current party) then you should check Bulbapedia page about Murkrow's egg moves(they teach you what parent gives what egg move etc)~note that egg group doesnt equal to type(say flygon you think its dragon egg group but its not, it belongs with bug egg group) for water type egg group there are three Water egg groups(1, 2 and 3), which might reflect on real life molusck(i can't spell T.T), aquatic mammals etc~Largest egg group is field, basically early mons are all in field egg group with exception of the birds which are in Flying egg group(mostly make up of bird pokemons)
-
Stunfisk used Discharge~
-
Well, sometimes luck plays trick on people, i think its just mere bad luck, breeding with anything as long as in its egg group can give shinies, i happened to breed a Ralts which is Shiny (forget the father was)~
-
Well, since Meowstic light screen cut every special attacks(Chandelure only excels in its special attack) into half, so best if you get to Chandelure before light screen fades away(which is five turns unless you equip light clay to meowstic m which extends Light Screen and Reflect into 8 turns), that allows Houndoom to take a few hits( a different story if your Houndoom has Flash Fire, means no fire move from Chandelure only ghost moves can touch you yet not very effective plus light screen protection)
-
Nice addition of Mareep, T-wave is gonna be crippling to Gengar etc, but i dont know about Meowstic M tho, 'cause its base special attack is 80 ish, not enough to one shot fully evolved mons, meowstic M is best use for support, may be you should give it lightscreen as a precaution~ If i am not mistaken,Hasty nature juices up speed at the expense of defense, which is good to outspeed Gengar and Rotom hopefully since it's not Prankster Meowstic~Keen Eye ability is not necessarily bad but own tempo is better as it evolves into prankster male meowstic(each first, second and hidden ability are corresponding with its evolved form, so keen eye Meowstic M will evlove into Keen Eye Meowstic while own tempo into prankster)~Prankster allows you to set up status moves regardless of speed~

Rejuvenation Viability Rankings 2.0 [Community WIP]
TimTim replied to Fumble's topic in Rejuvenation
Manectric B- or C+(personally i lean more towards latter, B range is just too good for it for now) Availability:After Venam's gym at Chrisola hotel, only one as event mon Abilities: Lightning Rod is obviously the one you go for(Valarie's Lanturn/R-wash), Static is too situational, Minus bears no merit in game even in double battles as no one use Plus Movepools/Moveset: Fire Fang, Bite, Thunder Wave, Discharge, Wild Charge, by TM Magma Drift, egg moves Crunch (pangoro), Electro Ball(Emolga), Ice Fang (Walrein, Mamoswine) usefulness +Early availability +consider early game fast mon, enough to outspeed many early threats +good as a support parahax mon, especially in handling Keta's and Narcissa fast mons, also destructive to Valarie's gym because of field effect except R-wash and Lanturn, also it is able to learn Light Screen if light screen exists +among the few non fire types which learns Magma Drift, not only for outside battle use but also for Angie's battle +pure electric typing is actually good with only one weakness which is fairly uncommon in Rejuv -movepools are still not wide enough for coverage -abysmal bulk with 75/60/60, even neutral damage may still be devastating, physical attack is subpar, cannot make full use of Wild Charge which is among the best physical electric STAB out there - Ampharos, Zebstrika and Emolga(either better speed tier, movepool, bulk or typing) exist -Discharge destroys opponent's as well as oneself's own ally in Double Battles, unless you or ally have ground type(which is situational in Amber's gym with her Charizard)~ Also, I dont know if Cleffa is really not available in game, i got my Cleffa in Route 2(in V6) but the availability chart says it doesnt exist, anyway, if it checks out to be existed, i would also like to make reservation for Clefable~- 161 replies
