I actually really liked this episode, especially towards the end with the champion theme remix playing. Although, I did kind of want to see Lance attacking the one guy who's in the shop like he does in HGSS.

I don't think the level up movesets for any pokemon have actually changed. There are some new tms you can teach pokemon, though

I wouldn't go so far as to call the story "terrible." It's definitely not as good as Reborn's, but is still rather interesting at some points.

Insurgence is a fun game to play. However, the story isn't nearly as good as Reborn or Rejuvenation. There are some characters that are interesting, but it isn't like Reborn where you encounter gym leaders outside of battle frequently or that they travel with you. The gameplay is fun though. The game has delta species (which are pokemon of different types than normal), character customization, difficulty settings, challenge run settings (you can do things like nuzlockes, egglockes, and randomizers), and online play. If you are looking for a game to play. I would recommend giving Insurgence a shot. You really won't know if you'll like it or not until you actually play it, after all. Regarding other fan games like Reborn, have you played Desolation? While the current release isn't that far along, I had a lot of fun playing through it the first time.

In Black 2 and White 2, an NPC does not let you onto Tubeline Bridge because they are testing to see how many people can fit on the bridge without it collapsing. First of all, that sounds like a terrible idea. What if the bridge collapses and everyone dies. Secondly, would it really affect your experiment if you let one person pass through? I also dislike the workers in Lumiose who let everyone but you pass them during the blackout. An interesting thing to note is that even though you restore the city's power by getting rid of Team Flare at the Power Plant, the workers will still be there until you go to Prism Tower, meaning you have to use the North Lumiose Entrance. You can't fly to South Lumiose and go to Prism Tower from there. I really hate that the player takes no initiative to move/get around some of these roadblocks. For example, if I have a pokemon that knows Fly why can't I just go over Snorlax. Related to Snorlax, why do I need a flute to wake it up? Can't I just throw a pokeball at it? I'd make it fall asleep in battle to make it easier to capture regardless.

No. There is no working 3ds emulator. There are websites that claim to have them, but those are false and will probably give you a virus. As far as I know, the only way to play XY or ORAS (or any other 3ds game for that matter) is to actually get a 2ds or 3ds system.

I'm probably going to go straight to Opal and the Grand Hall (I think that's where we're supposed to go anyways) and get the story done before exploring the entire city and doing sidequests

It's a house in Goldenleaf. Once you enter it, you will notice that there is another door. Go through that and you will be able to enter Wispy Ruins from behind the waterfall. Also, in order to get to the area with the Phantump you will first have the goldenleaf gym badge, enter Wispy Ruins through the normal entrance (the Giratina statue), and progress through and activate a pillar that is on the lower floor of Wispy Ruins.

You also need Pokesnax in your bag iirc. I would save before talking to the tree and soft reset for a female phantump if you don't have ditto yet

Something I forgot to mention earlier is the ability to nickname traded pokemon. Especially with wonder trade now, we get pokemon whose names we simply don't like. It would be great if we could change them.

One thing I want is a more in-depth story. Black and White took a step in the right direction with this, but then X and Y wasn't the best. I'm hoping Sun and Moon will focus more on story aspects. Harder Gym Leaders and Boss Fights would also be nice. I mean, each trainer can carry six pokemon. So why does only the champion actually use six? While they're at it, they could also add a challenge mode like in Black 2 and White 2, but made so they're accessible before beating the game. Technically, Delta Pokemon are originally from the Trading Card Game. So they aren't really taking them from Insurgence. Also, hasn't it been established that legendary pokemon by definition don't evolve from anything, or am I just assuming that?

I really like the new abilities and movves they're introducing. Passimian's Receiver gives it an ally's ability when it faints. This could be used in doubles and triples really well. Oranguru's move Instruct makes the target use it's most recent move again. Both of them can work in vgc I guess. It's confirmed that Rockruff's evo is version exclusive. Midday Lycanroc evolves due to "Solgaleo's Influence" and Midnight Lycanroc evolves due to "Lunala's Influence" They both remain pure Rock types as well. The official website says that only Midday can learn Accelrock, not Midnight They seem to have taken customization to another level Poke Refresh is like Amie I guess. I won't really use it though The Eevee Z move seems overpowered. I mean, a +2 boost to every stat. Is Adaptability Eviolite Eevee a thing now? There will at least be Eevee + Baton Pass. Also Pokemon Bank will not be updated until January assuming they don't delay it again. You won't be able to send pokemon from Gen 1 Virtual Console to Gen 6. They will only be able to be sent to Sun and Moon

I usually play through the episode on my original save file then I do a new game and play through the entirety.

People seem to not like Episode 1. It was just an introductory episode showing the theme of Generations. While some are saying that it's Red going to each of the regions, I disagree. I personally think that the Red we see is supposed to represent us as the players progressing through each of the generations and games, not the actual in game Red who sits on Mt. Silver

Corocoro wasn't exactly clear when talking about this. I believe it said something along the lines of Midday being obtained when exposed to the radiance of the sun and Mignight form being obtained in the radiance of the moon. Some news sources have taken this to mean the time of day affects the evolution and others say the game version affects the evolution. We won't really know for sure until they update the official site (which looks like it might be next Tuesday)

You can get Skrelp by fishing in Coral Ward with a good rod. Axew is obtainable through the mystery egg, but you only have a 1/18 chance of getting it per save file. The other two are currently unavailable.
