  1. Cyrus is in the promotional poster so he'll be in at least one episode. I hope they show him in the distortion world. That would be amazing.
  2. So it looks like Midday form gets a new signature priority rock type move (RIP Talonflame) and verlisify Midnight form gets Counter
  3. As long as they try to introduce some plot into the anime like they did with XYZ, I'll be happy with it
  4. If the leaked starter images are true, I'm thinking that the Litten and Rowlet evos are the Night variants and the Popplio evo is the Day variant
  5. Welcome to Reborn! I also turn 18 in December, so that's cool. I am a fan of may anime, including Fairy Tail, as well.
  6. So corocoro is probably going to be leaked tomorrow, and I know a lot of people are expecting starter evolutions because of their relationship to Rockruff. While it would be cool to see them, we should keep in mind that they could not be shown either. Remember that the X and Y starter evolutions were not shown until a month before the games were out and the Black and White starter evolutions were not even shown until two weeks before the games were out. They could just reveal Rockruff's secret and not tell how it relates to the starters
  7. Is Vanillite an option? I'll just go with Vanilla Bean since that is one of the two that I know
  8. If the portals that Solgaleo and Lunala are passing through are actually in the game and end up being related to Ultra Beasts' portals, then maybe it's Aether that summons them and not Team Skull. I just get the feeling that Team Skull doesn't really care about the legendary pokemon edit: It turns out the person who looks like Professor Oak is Nariya Oak, the professor's cousin
  9. Here's the trailer if you need it: It showed some interesting things. It looks like Cubone and Pikachu will not be getting alolan forms. Wishiwashi appears to be a totem in at least one version of the game. There's black Oak, who could very well be a relative to the original professor. Finally, at the end, Solgaleo and Lunala seem to be going through a portal similar to the one UB-01 appears through. Maybe there's some sort of connection? The music is also amazing.
  10. It probably will work like that. The trailer showcasing the Munchlax event says "have it hold its Z-crystal"
  11. Here's the new trailer for the Team Flare Arc: I for one am actually excited about the arc, but that may just be because I'm interested in the lore behind Zygarde. Also, it looks like Lysandre has a shiny mega gyarados
  12. I really like Team Skull. Based on the number of locations seen in the trailer, it seems like you will be encountering them more frequently than some other teams. Or maybe i'm just imagiing them. About the boss only having two pokemon. that's probably the first time you battle him as his ariados is level 30. I do hope that at least he and the admin get more pokemon in their final fight. Anyone else notice Guzma's golden wristband. It looks like it has an empty slot in it. Maybe he'll eventually get a Z-crystal or mega stone?
  13. Those eyes are creepy af The Chinese leaks also said there would be a mushroom Pokemon. If this is true, which it most likely is, that means the original leaks are pretty much confirmed.
  14. About the "Southern Island Guide," Joe Merrick just said on twitter that the guide was pretty much covering the information that was revealed in the trailer last week. So Alolan forms, Z-moves, and poke ride.
  15. Serebii reported last week that there's also new information going up on the Pokemon YouTube channel and official website at 10 am in Japan on the 12th or 9 pm est on the 11th
  16. I'm actually kind of glad that the pokedex leak was fake, or at least not 100% true. I like the larger appearance of the fish I'm probably going to have to get used to sandcastle. I do like its typing Alolan meowth is nice. I don't really care about it Alolan marowak did turn out to be fire type like they hinted on the website. Also a ghost type to please everyone who wanted it to mega evolve into a ghost type. I love it's design as well Team skull. Hmm.... Sounds familiar. They better have a skuntank, koffing, and zubat or at least some homage to mystery dungeon
  17. It wasn't corocoro that gave this information. Pokemon's Japanese twitter account tweeted about it showing up in corocoro next month. We still do not have any information from this month's corocoro.
  18. Apparently there is a rumor going around that there are potentially two final evolutions for each starter and some more alolan forms of gen 1 mons http://pokejungle.net/2016/08/01/chinese-rumor-leaked-starter-evolutions-confirmed-true/
  19. I really liked this trailer. It definitely had dorm things that I don't think many people saw coming. The Alola/Delta forms of past Pokemon are really nice (although I'm not sure if it takes inspiration from the tcg or insurgence). Alola Exeggutor is freaking hilarious. I laugh every time I see it, which for some reason made me like it. Grass/Dragon for a coconut tree is a little weird, but then again so is grass/psychic. Alola Vulpix and Ninetales are amazing. Not a huge fan of the ability, but maybe they will get a better hidden ability. It also has a 4x weakness steel. Alola sandshrew and sandslash (why do they still have sand in their name?) also seem nice, but I would probably be more excited about them if they weren't ice type, didn't have the same ability as vulpix, and weren't 4x weak to both fire and fighting, I'm assuming that if we bring older versions of vulpix and exeggutor over from gen 6 that they will retain their original forms. The new Pokemon are also cool. Donald Trump is confirmed the evolution of Yungoos and the new birds different forms are nice I guess. I wonder if we will be able to change its form when we arrive on each island. Lurantis and its pre evolution should be bug, but it doesn't really matter. I like the concept of Z moves and they seem interesting. It kind of works like megas and can only be used once per battle when a Pokemon is holding the required stone. Many people are assuming this means that there will be no mega evolution in sun and moon, but I really don't think they would introduce a mechanic just to get rid of it the next generation. Finally, the island challenge/trial. I have seen a lot of people upset that there are no more gyms, but I would just like to point out that these challenges are essentially going to be the same thing. A traditional Gym involves competing a puzzle and fighting the leader who specializes in a certain type. The description of the trials say that you have o complete a puzzle or find something for the captain to proceed. Since this is a game that revolves around fighting others, you will also probably have to battle them in the end, kind of like how the orange islands worked in the anime. Then you also have to fight the kahunas of each island. So four captains + four kahunas are basically the eight "gym leaders" of this game
  20. One Piece - I'm caught up with the manga but I still watch it weekly. Zou Arc Hype Naruto - I'm only on episode 8 lol Sword Art Online - my friend told me I should watch this. I like the idea behind it but I've heard mixed reviews about it. Haven't really gotten into anything new this season though
  21. I actually like all of the new pokemon, especially the horse. The only problem I have with them is that comfey is pure fairy and not fairy/grass. Some of these abilities are pretty good though Disguise is essentially a free substitute or switch in. They even gave it to a pokemon that has a pretty good typing Triage give priority to restoring moves. This obviously applies to moves like recover and moonlight, but I wonder if it will also work with attacking moves like giga drain and draining kiss Stamina boosts defense every time the pokemon takes damage Wimp Out is shown as the pokemon running away if its hp is below half, but in a trainer battle it will swap out for another pokemon. So its kind of like an eject button. I'm not really sure how good it will be in battle Fluffy is basically fur coat, but the pokemon takes double damage from fire movers
  22. I'm not sure how many of you know this, but we're going to get some new news on the official website in about 30 minutes. I'm assuming it's just going to be what was revealed in corocoro last week along with a description on the new abilities. But who knows, maybe they'll surprise us.
  23. The one in the pikachu disguise is ghost/fairy, which means it's immune to normal, fighting, and dragon and is weak to only ghost and steel
