Oh no this is what I get for not looking at the forums for a few days! ;A; Happy belated brthday, Jacze! You're always a ton of fun to hang out with on the server, whether the jokes be on your or my expense :3 No, seriously, you're cool, I enjoy talking to you. And now I feel kind of bad for having missed your special day, I mean, I could've screamed HAPPY BIRTHDAY at you until Clarice stepped in or something. I hope it was a good one, though!

The archives are here, and you can browse battle logs by entering the number of the log in the search function. Of course, it's a bit of a mess if you don't know the number of the battle you're looking for, but I imagine it might be fun for some people to just flip through them randomly or chronologically.

Not sure what to make of the new UB stuff yet. The "beauty" looks like Lusamine, all right, and the "expansion" reminds me of Gladion, but if they're both UB-02, does that mean that they're the same person? I don't think I'd be too happy about that, if I gotta be honest.

At this point the entire dorky bunch of Skull members looks more trustworthy to me than Aether, and Pokémon games aren't exactly ones that are known for mind-boggling plot twists. Seems like the game is probably gonna make us go after Skull first, and then reveal Aether to be the bigger bad. And a bunch of revelations about our totally-not-suspiciously-alike trio of green-eyed blondes. I'm more hype for these games than I've been for any generation so far, which I guess is saying something, considering Blue was my first and I was decently excited for the Johto remakes. I love almost all of the new Pokémon (with one exception. Sorry, Bewear.), all of the characters we've seen so far, and am excited for the island challenge. And the plot. Oh boy I'm excited for the plot. I'm dying to find out more about the ultra beasts. Type: Null is precious. I want it. But I'm kind of hoping there's more than one of them because taking it away from the edgy kid seems cruel. Speaking of which, can't wait to find out what's wrong with him and his shaky arm. And if he's gonna, like, smile at some point. Please?

Ohey, I heard your name thrown around a lot by some of the other fossils here. Guess it's true what they say about not being able to escape from here. I'm one of those losers who came here for the game so I have a feeling you'll be in completely different parts of the forums, but if you ever do find yourself on the server, maybe I'll see you there. I'm actually intrigued as to why the first time we encounter a PULSE, Eve orders to "recover the model and escape", but the next few times, the machines just get left behind, even in situations where there were enough people around to take them away. ... I'm not even sure how many people it takes to transport a PULSE. We see a whole bunch of Meteors during the operation at Pyrous mountain, but at the same time, ZEL were alone in Obsidia Park. Maybe us fighting the PULSEmons damaged the machines, too? Even if it is potentially difficult to figure out how to operate them, it'd seem careless to let them stand around and not even try to remove them later on, when it was so seemingly important that the Obsidia one be taken away?

Idk, some people are very willing to sacrifice their own lives in order to take their secrets with them, so a self-destructing base wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea. Exploding equipment... more. Though, yknow, there's still some PULSE machines standing around uselessly in some places, and not all of them are defective.

You should be able to get it from any random glowing stone, but it's supposed to be rare. Sometimes mining or a specific item is simply hell, I've had the same experience with a Mind Plate a while ago. I think it took me what, 150 tries til I found one? Sounds like you simply have awful luck :c

I don't exactly trust Radomus, but as far as Luna is concerned, I don't think her "condition" is his fault. While she's at his castle and pretending to be his maid and daughter, he constantly makes remarks in her presence that go against the role she's playing, and she makes a point to call him out on it, too. If he was really trying to make her believe she's his kid, or even just trying to make her stay with him by all means, then he'd surely be a lot more careful not to make comments that ruin the illusion. Edit: That said, I am not sure if she was Serra's "daughter" before meeting Radomus? Gardevoir appears to have been at Serra's mansion together with Luna, which would only make sense if the two of them had already known each other.

Heya, welcome! Steel's a great choice, it's one of my favourite types as well. Difficult for me to place it above Flying, but thankfully, Skarmory exists, so eh~ And it'd seem we have the same favourite for a starter as well! (Though I did start with Blue. Just never really warmed up to the Gen I starters.) Swampert is one of the few starters that I actually used throughout a whole game and didn't box before it even fully evolved, which is rare for me. Someone who suffers my company with much grace and flattery~ While I'm not sure if their ages will ever be relevant in the game: according to their creator, Lumi is 19, Zero is 21, and Eve is 24. Lumi does sound rather young in the game, but I tend to feel like that about the way Ame writes shy characters in general. Laura would be another good example of that. You've really got to think of the potential here: It'd be so easy for Blake to make Lumi uncomfortable and piss off Zero. I'm sure Eve can think of many ways to let someone's death look like an accident. She kinda owes you the favour after you took care of that Abra. I don't believe there's one from before ZEL, so ZEL's sprite would be all there is. Ame once said that their strange fashion sense is a result of the three of them trying to find a compromise for how to present themselves, but as far as just the body goes, there is no difference between Zero and ZEL. He's just naturally that androgynous. I also remember Ice saying that he thinks Zero would possibly have had short hair before, but he didn't sound like he had a strong opinion either way. ...I was gonna make a sprite set for Zero eventually, though, as I'll need one when I do my Dark mono of Reborn. Would just be fanwork, of course and I'll stick to long-haired Zero til death but I could post it if I ever get it done. I haven't even finished the set for Lumi yet

That's because that's not Zero. I have no idea who the character with the red eyes is, but Zero doesn't seem to be in that story/AU at all. He has yellow eyes, not red.

Yeah like I said, I got that the game started out as your way of putting the story of the Reborn league into an actual game, so if things go in a certain direction, I know why it is that way and can respect your choices. It's just one of those things that are a bit unfortunate in hindsight, considering the game gained a large fanbase outside of the original league participants, and as such, you're getting an audience that is detached from the game's origins. I think I do recall you saying that you didn't forsee this happening on such a large scale, but well, here you are, stuck with us. To many people like me, who only know the game, there is no difference between the characters based off the leaders, and characters who don't have a RL counterpart. Even after finding out their origins, I've never been able to treat the game's characters as anything more than just that: characters. So to me as an outsider, diverging from "league canon" for the sake of a good story always seemed like the better option. But yes, I can see that it would be different for you, and that it's near impossible to change certain things this late into the game. I suppose what I'm hoping is just that we won't get some unbelievable "hey look, all the important Meteors, Cultists and else are dead, but the leaders seem fine" moment. A fate worse than death? Well, I suppose Bennett did get unlucky with that hairstyle of his...

Lin may only have had one scene in the game so far, but with being the boss of Team Meteor, she's set up to be the Big Bad (unless something worse comes along). That we saw her die on Shade's gym screen doesn't mean that she would have to be the next person to die in the story. After all, Shade was the 4th gym and Amaria's scene didn't happen until waaay later, so there's no telling when the thing with Lin will happen. Could be the climax of the story, for all we know. The thing is, so far every scene we've seen on the screens did happen just as predicted. Corey did jump off Beryl Bridge. Kiki did get beheaded by a Garchomp. Amy did jump off somewhere and Tania ran up behind her. Amy didn't die, but the scene happened just as we saw it. And... well... Lin's scene didn't look all that healthy for her body. There's something about falling into pieces that looks rather fatal to me.

He said that "from foreshadowed", only two souls will be taken. Corey's death wasn't foreshadowed, as it had already happened by the time we saw it on the screen in Shade's gym. So what Shade told us here is that from the three scenes he showed us of the future (Kiki, Amaria, Lin), only two would be taken. With Kiki already having died by the time we got the above message at the end of E14, it meant that between Amaria and Lin, only one would actually die. Amaria's scene from the gym screen has happened by now and she survived it. Whether you interpret that as her being safe and Lin being confirmed to die, or think there might still be another way for Amy to die, that's up to you. Personally I believe Amy will be safe from death.

I don't think Aya dying now would invalidate her badge. With Kiki and Corey it's just that they haven't had the chance to give theirs to you before they bit the dust. Would be pretty irritating if trainers' badges got invalidated every time a gym leader died. Besides, what even would that make Shade's badge?
