Wonderful! Thank you! I restarted for the community release and I just finished Julia. I'll switch over to this public release and I will have so much fun! Things I look forward for E17: - All the move animations! I want earthquake and surf! - Desert area == Gible? Want want want - Hunting for new bugs! Scizor? Yes. Words like "exhiliarting"? Definitely! - All those tiny teasers and updates that make me appreciate the vast amount of work the development team gets done. - To be surprised, entertained, and shocked... or pummeled. Just wondering why you put ~50 hours of playtime? Is that nominal? To me, it takes more like 100 hours from start to finish.

I had the worst luck with Abra. I still had the mentality of regular pokemon games: Brute power and diverse type distribution works always. But Abra's dark pulse was just amazing. I leveled up a cryogonal just for its special defense. Hehehe. Last Magnezone was such an epic battle, but sadly the AI ruined it. I broke the field with Earthquake (even though it didn't damage Magnezone), after which the terrain gives its magnet bomb that electric type bonus. He kept using it, only sometimes using its hidden power. Since I had Swampert and Mamoswine, that effectively made Magnezone powerless.

Hello guys, I noticed that a fair number of references still point to pokemonreborn.com. For instance, Amethyst's twitter, tumblr, and the game's facebook haven't updated yet.

I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I should have song a song to Amethyst in front of the chimney: "Oh kom er eens kijken, wat ik op mijn laptop vind. Alles gekregen, van die beste Ame" Let's play!

Optimism and pessimism are different ways of dealing with uncertainty. If you have a good idea of the most probable outcome and act towards it, you are being realistic instead. Otherwise, optimism is just wishful thinking. And with wishful thinking and with a good go-getter approach, you can achieve much more than with conservatism, pessimism, etc. I choose to be positive when dealing with uncertainty. The risk is higher: I can be dissappointed. The reward is higher too: a much more satisfying and pleasant life. The choice is easy for me, I'm an optimist. But generally, I try to be realistic. Maybe we can all feel a little better about the wait, if we know development is still ongoing. Are you guys still making those fantastic animations during this beta period? I would love to see another one, if you would!
