Perhaps cheap is being used but like 'edgy' or 'edge' the true meaning or original meaning is forgotten but to clarify what I think people mean when they say something is a 'cheap' method is that it is too easy to do while the result being success often enough it is very boring or suffers the loss of intensity, where brute force will at the cost of reduction in chance of success and increase in difficulty sometimes, it just maintain the intensity. But before this goes off topic if it hasn't already I've always found moves that change the user or targets type can turn a field against an opponent or bring the field effect's favour to the user be it making yourself heal over time or immune to those pesky status ailments to turning that god awful Pulse Swalot into a joke when Soak makes him purely Water type and he suffers CHUNKS of DoT due to the field effect. Sometimes that one type change is the one thing that changes the outcome of a battle

There is no exact date or time to when it will be released, Sun and Moon Pokémon I am certain won't be included as it has been brought up many a time and always the most I ever hear is if they ever will be included is in the final episode of reborn possibly post game content), what can be said is when the Beta Testing is concluded (which cannot be said when that will be as the Bugs found and what not else Beta Testers find that needs attention cannot be determined as to severity or quantity) then the game will be in the community release and eventually after that the Public Release, so do please have patience ever more as the only way Ame could guarantee us the release data is by after beta testing setting a release date for it. so looking around I found someone who described 'Edgy' as being "an action bordering on the outskirts of contextual social norm" with their example being about Fred not wearing a tie to work, now although they refer to it as being an action, it could easily be applied to a belief or game or anything in which case, calling Pokémon Reborn edgy is just saying it doesn't follow the same style as the original, which imo is just becoming far too watered down to cater to making it easier for children and less likely to make some parents or children butthurt over seeing something they think offends them, is offensive for whatever reason (since everything is offensive now) or is too dark to the point the villains are closer to school bullies that back off when you stand up to them. If this truly is what edgy is then any fan game of Pokémon that isn't made so piss easy your cat/dog/hamster etc could beat it is considered edgy then because it isn't following the path of the main Pokémon games
