    Pardon, but I thought she spoke before he took her in for 'treatment' and it was after that she stopped speaking? I should also point out we have no idea what kinda voltage he was putting through her compared to how it is done IRL so it's pretty hard to make a judgement on why it 'failed' assuming it didn't cause the catatonic state in the first place

    Have you tried Physical Lapras? might just be me but I've found D-Dance Lapras with Bulldoze for speed drop, ice shard for that priority and waterfall for flinch possibility have always been useful, mine was built up in Hp and Attack with an Attack enhancing nature and has been a god send for me
