I was under the impression that only Damp Rock is banned

it looks like only Damp and Smooth are banned, not Heat Rock.

Plus, Damp and Smooth are only banned for zwater and Ground/Rock respectively, iirc. So you could do Damp Rock on a ground team to boost Mega Swampert.

The General... has probably the second most over the top for no reason animations. Like the whole chain Lance thing and just... they are weird. Hero is still the best, the over the topness makes so mcuh sense for them lol.

Idk, it's incredibly bulky. Base 140 defense is nothing to scoff at, so it can easily come in on a lot of physical sweepers and Rapid Spin.

keep in mind you have to be at 75% health and it's base is pretty awful. Okay 70 is... passable at best but... 75% of that is not really a great amount. Mayn things can easily get access to EQ... so it's an okay choice jsut one that's easily not going to hinder you not having it as well though.

Well it IS mono. Torkoal has 3 weaknesses, and can endure a hit from a non-STAB SE move. So yeah, this means that, realistically, its chances to Rapid Spin effectively are significantly limited in only 3 match-ups, to which you need to add the Ghost match-up that prevents spinning altogether. I dunno, 4 bad match-ups out of 18 seems reasonable enough to grant the turtle a spot.

I like him, I simply hadn't used him before I played PMD: EoS a bit ago. I started pokemon with Cyndaquil and I've stuck by him. The cool thing about the gen 2 starters is that they're the only ones you can currently obtain all of in Reborn (assuming you start with Totodile).

What about Dragon? That seems pretty strong.

Most every team has an Ice move of some sort on it and most strong Dragons have a x4 weakness to it, so it's less useful than you might think.

I think my main problem is that I tend to go with my feelings and so I'll try to make a Sash Hawlucha team. Doesn't really work. Or I'll decide to use <insert mon here> with another mon which really doesn't synergize with it.Another problem I tend to have is I over predict fairly often to the point where I have to force myself not to try to predict my opponent's every move as at least of a few of those predicts could conceivably lead to me losing my win comdiction...

also @Pyrro- tbh Chansey isn't good on Mononormal. Sure, it does do the natural Chansey thing, but it is it just as passive as usual. Pory2 has a lot more pressure with almost as much bulk nd a ton more option.

The fact that public transportation is not only expensive but also incredibly unoptimized and won't take you to half the places you want to go. I also live pretty far from the city so any time I want to travel I have to pay even more than a regular person would want to. Shadow Dragon is the one I would recommend starting with.

I got Awakening a few days ago and I'm on chapter 10 (Awakening is my first FE game) and the story is pretty good so far. the pre-rehenered cutscenes are wonderful to look at in 3D or not.

Awakening is best to start with, personally. Most updated mechanics, and it jas a casual mode for those who aren't accustomed to the game.

Tana... was literally my best character that run... cause she killed pretty much anything in one hit... and never got hit... it was... beautiful. Also, reason why Pegasus Knights are my favourite unit.

I feel the same way except about Swordmasters/Rouges from Joshua and Colm.
