Well Ame and Mumpelfink Marcello have been dealing with a lot of problems that the beta testers keep finding, so it's not like they had enough time to get inspired to make more memes. The game has enough references as it is.

If I were making a case in favor of adding non-canon moves to canon pokemon, I would aim at things they could actually use. Some HMs may fit thematically, but would never be used due to them being counter-productive. So what is the point, really? The officials may not bother to improve some of their creations, yet the addition feels cheap when made by a fangame.

Some TMX are viable moves. Naturally Gen7 pokemon should learn them. Reborn has made the HMs replaceable. So, there isn't really any reason to remove them. Adding non-canon moves to pokemon isn't something Ame would do.

When I became part of this community some years ago, I was treated to that joke, and I didn't really mind, since it was obvious. It will certainly turn away some younger members, but that is not necessary. One's opinion of a forum is not formed by one sarcastic comment (or many similar to each other). The vast majority of the community is nice (with the occasional exceptions), which lets newcomers feel at ease. Everyone is encouraged to ask, and everyone gets their answer. That said, I have made such jokes before, and I have mixed feelings about it, because I always help the person asking (either on topic, or via pm). I still make the joke tho Whether one thinks the joke is funny or not, it's irrelevant. The point is for the running gags of the community not to be per se insulting. I don't think many people would be offended and leave just because of that, but at the same time I can't predict how people take a joke, and reactions vary... a lot. Naturally, if too many people make the same joke at the expense of a new member, it's definitely discouraging. I'm just a bit sad, since I have made the joke , and the auth hold such people accountable for negativity in the community.

The pokemon gets generated as soon as you get your starter, yet they are not linked to each other species-wise. If you choose a specific starter, don't expect to get the same Mystery Egg every time. I have played 5 times and I got 4 different eggs (you only got Azumarill before ep...14 I think).

You might also want to check your movesets anyway. Having 2+ moves of the same type in a pokemon is generally bad (with certain exceptions). Also, make sure you don't mix special and physical moves to every pokemon. It limits them, since they don't have a better one. Congrats on beating Chat-roulette, as she is undoubtedly one of the hardest leaders in Reborn. I guess we'll see you again when you'll be facing Seel.
