I couldn't care less about typing weaknesses/strength, as long as the type itself is awesome. Psychic-ghost based on an evil genie-in-a-bottle is pretty badass to me.

I loved it.. Played a little with Hoopa in Pokemon Insurgence.. It's fun.. Though I wanted it to have the second form as well.. Though any Dark type move almost destroys the poor genie..

      zimvader42

@Yash: wait, you can get hoopa in insurgence? like, is in the egglocke thing or you can legitly get it on your main savefile?

  2. I just thought of something... Oswald? Would they introduce Oswald into the mix in 3, perhaps he would've been trapped in the Realm of Darkness and help Aqua get out?
  3. Trivia Time: Out of all Legendary Pokemon with fixed locations, Zapdos can be encountered with the least amount of Badges: 3. In Generation I and their remakes, Zapdos can be caught by only having the Boulder Badge, the Cascade Badge and the Soul Badge (since you don't technically have to do the Gyms in order). Zapdos also possesses a type advantage against all of the other members in its trio, including the Trio Master: Lugia.

Thing is Lugia is the bulkiest motheffer like ever, Prett sure he could still beat Zapdos, or at least not take a butt load of damage.

They might not have realized it at the time, but when they did they just went with it. But they are all based off of mythological birds, Zapdos specifically being based off the Thunderbird from Native American descent. Also, Ice, Fire, and Lightning also go together nicely.

But srsly, I have no clue if it was intentional or not. It is funny though.

  4. Thanks man! Although I'm still trying to think up what I can do against that Earthquake. :/
  5. I have a placement test for college today... and classes start next week. I got a lot of work to do.

  6. Trivia Time: 'ERE WE GO, FIRST LEGENDARY GUYS. In the second episode of the anime, there's a mural in the Viridan City Pokemon Center depicting the legendary birds. Ash mistakes the Articuno engraving for Ho-oh. While the stone is blue to indicates the Ice Type, and the wings and crest feathers are that of Articuno's, the multiple tail feathers look nothing like Articuno's, being similar to Ho-oh's than anything.

    1. SilverJakler

      SilverJakler

In the Kanto games, remakes included, there are binoculars in the gate seperating Fuchsia City from Route 15, through which Articuno can be seen flying toward the sea. In a lapse of continuity or just an oversight, it's still possible to see it flying even if you've caught or defeated it at the Seafoam Islands.

    2. SilverJakler

      SilverJakler

In the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers games, Articuno's the only one of its trio that can't be encountered unless an event code is entered. Also, it's the only Ice Pokemon in IQ Group C. Articuno was also one of the last Kanto Pokemon to be introduced in the anime, and the only one to not appear in Season 1.

    3. SilverJakler

      SilverJakler

Now, unto the only bit of core game info I found. Articuno is the only Pokemon other than Smeargle and Poliwrath (in Gen II) to learn both an accuracy raising move and a One-Hit K.O. move, learning Mind Reader and Sheer Cold. An Articuno with this combination can be fought in the Battle Subway.

  7. Wait so what do we do with these, just unzip and slap it in the mods folder?
  8. Have an RP idea. Time to flesh the plot out.

  9. Gonna try the Reborn Frontier... but I need teams first.

  10. Trivia Time: Snorlax are shown to open their eyes when they faint, a trend that started in the Stadium games and has carried over to the Gamecube games, and the 3DS games. In Pokemon Snap, Snorlax dances to the music of the Poke-Flute when in use. The Sinnoh games are the only games where Snorlax is in the regional Pokedex, but is not an obstacle in the overworld.

I love the big guy, too. Still haven't completed a campaign with him, but I want to.

  11. Oh look, another tie between favorites for me. Candidate 1: Gallade. In short, SWORD HANDS. A timid little thing like Ralts can either become a powerful mage or a gallant swordsman. Honestly I like both Gardevoir and Gallade, I just like Gallade more. Especially his Mega. Candidate 2: Electivire. If it wasn't completely obvious from Seth's partner Pokemon in the Aftermath RP, I love Electivire. In fact, the whole evolutionary family are all strong favorites of mine. I just wish this guy was viable in the higher tiers... his movepool is just so good but his stats aren't the best. #MegaElectivirePlz Candidate 3: Samurott. SAMURAI SEA LION, MOTHER FECKERS. I little otter growing into a badass dual wielding swordsman that then grows into a samurai with a majestic moustache/beard combo. Again, I wish this guy was also viable in the higher tiers. #MegaSamurottPlz Candidate 4: Chespin. If you can't tell by now, I like the little guys that turn into warriors as they grow. Chesnaught is also another candidate, but I really don't think having two guys in the same evolutionary family a different space. I also think Chesnaught's shiny coloration should be the default. Just sayin'. Also 200th post!
  12. But that Pharaoh Amumu mystery gift tho

I got Masked Shaco, but I promised to never play him again for the sake of my teams.

They'd love to be against me though. I'm just that bad at him.

  13. Trivia Time: Aerodactyl was actually the inspiration for the naming of Aerodactylus, a genus of pterodactyls. Aerodactyl is also the only Fossil Pokemon to not evolve, and the only one so far to get a Mega Evolution. It's also the only Fossil Pokemon to be obtained in a unique way from the others: It can be received in an in-game trade in Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Aerodactyl, along with the Johto Starters are the only non-Hoenn Pokemon available in Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire.

  14. {Gym Squad} As the remaining light darted for Gigawatt, Seth thought quick on his feet. He didn't want to risk dodging out of the way, just in case his yellow friend wasn't fast enough. Even if dodging were an option, the rocks being thrown around would be troublesome to maneuver in. So, Seth just decided to lame it out. "Giga, use Protect!" Gigawatt held his hands forward and produced a small circle of glass-like energy. As soon as it was completely formed, the Giga Drain made contact with it, the Protect seemingly absorbing the green beam of light until it disappeared. As it did, the shield did as well, and Seth was left with a few options. Might as well keep up the offensive, he thought. "Giga use Low Kick to launch the rocks at Mamoswine!" He did as he told, a maroon light enveloped his feet as he kicked the nearby rocks towards the Mamoswine. If she could handle them, Seth was at least hoping they would distract her for Jon to make a move.
  15. Yep. There's also the new Pixelmon server if you're interested.

  17. alsoheradoptivemothergotkilledbyherinstrumentwhat In all srsness, I like Sona a lot too, but she's not my all time fav. For my favorite champ of all time, it's a three way tie between the champs I used to get out of the depths of Bronze V to Silver this past season: Nasus, Darius and Rumble. For Nasus, I've liked him even before he got his VU. And when he did... oh MAN when he did... I played him even more. Unfortunately I haven't played him in a while, but with the recent Shurima lore updates, his VU and the fact that I loved playing him even before all of that, he holds a very special place in my heart. For me, I love late game champs, and Nasus is one of the best examples for that. Even if you lose hard early game, Nasus will still be an almost unstoppable killing machine later. His kit is so simple, but you still have to know how to use it to its full potential. I also love champs with abilities that grow in power indefinitely, like Nasus and Viegar. Especially with Nasus, his Q can chunk the living hell out of anyone if you raise them stacks right. I also usually build Triforce on him so that Sheen proc just amps it up even further. All in all, Nasus iz bes atk doge Darius also holds a place in my favorites list for mostly the same reason as Nasus. Although he doesn't have the same late game POWAH as Nasus, he's just an all-around good bruiser/fighter. He was also the champ that won me my last promo match to get into Silver. And finally, his Ultimate is probably the most statisfying to pull off, at least for me... especially with Dunkmaster :3 Rumble is a special case, as he's the only mage-ish character in here. His playstyle is unique, and you really need to know how to control your heat if you wanna win lane. Okay... scratch that thing about Darius's Ult being the most satisfying to execute correctly, cuz Rumble's is the bomb diggity. The feeling you get when you set it up perfectly in a teamfight, that only could win it for you and your team. I couldn't possibly pick between these guys, I love playing all of them equally.
  18. Trivia Time: Omastar's extinction is the only one to be explained out of all the fossil Pokemon: Its shell was too heavy to move, so it starved to death.

      Shamitako

I pretty much figured they were a mostly immobile species, but then their food learned to move and they couldn't chase after it due to having developed heavy shells for protection from predators (so mostly what Zim said, owo)

  21. I agree with everything you guys are saying. Yes to all dat. Also, a point about them constantly reminding the player about who the characters are... namely Sora, Donald and Goofy... well they gotta introduce themselves to the new people the meet, right? It'd be pretty rude to just be like "Yo, just saved your bitch ass from heartless/nobodies/dream eaters. Peace." *leaves with "Deal With It" sunglasses on* ...Y'know that would be badass, but that's not teachin' the kids that play this good manners :L Also, I would love to see Neku and co. back in the non-Dream World. I had practically just beaten TWEWY when Square announced that they were gonna be in DDD and I flipped my shit. They hype could not be contained. Now that would also be said for KH3 for me, but I still don't have a PS4... nor will I be getting it any time soon. Hopefully I'll get it in time, or else I'll most likely have everything spoiled for me q_q
  22. {Gym Squad} I've got just the thing for this... thought Seth to himself. If he had Gigawatt use Flamethrower or Fire Punch, not only would that give his position away, but it just might make the Mist even worse. No, he would use this to his advantage, and he had just the move to use... "Giga, Shock Wave, now!" Giga quickly charged twin pulses of electricity from his hands and shot them straight ahead. At first they only seemed to move forward, but as they got closer to the thick of the battle, they changed directions and started homing in on Regie and Abbie. Seth knew it wouldn't do much to Abbie, due to her Grass typing, but Regie was weakened, and if it didn't knock it out, it'd give away its location to Kyte for another clean shot to finish it off. Seth just hoped it'd work...
  23. I always hoped this day would come...
  24. Trivia Time: Porygon is the only Pokemon who can evolve via Trading twice: Once when evolving into Porygon2 with Up-grade, and once into Porygon Z with Dubious Disc. This also means it's the only three stage evolution family that doesn't require any leveling up to get to the final form. The Porygon family is also the only evolutionary family where all members can learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact, because they were all considered fully-evolved at one point in the franchise.

Porygon is like the personification of 3d modelling in computers, with good-old Porygon being all poligons and stuff and porygon-z being smoooooooth. And porygon2 is a duck.

Good trivia, as always, keep it coming.

    3. SilverJakler

      SilverJakler

Thanks man. And it's also theorized that Porygon Z is like the personification of a virus infected file, due to its evolution item being called the "Dubious Disc" and its appearance being similar to that of a corrupted Porygon2.

    4. zimvader42

      zimvader42

Based on that, if nintendo made it so porygon2 always got infected by pokérus when evolving into porygon-z, now that there would be awesome.

  25. College I aleady got accepted, why you gotta make setting up classes complicated as balls?
