Eyyyy! Bibs here! Today I'll bring you my newest run. It's one that I've been wanting to do for some time. The game I'll be playing is Pokémon Alternate Evolutions, a Fire Red hack. The plot is left untouched (mostly), same with the maps and the sprites. Then what makes this game interesting? Well, there are the changes in text at some places, minor new events, new Pokémon, changed movepools and stats, and overall a more challenging game that includes 271 Pokémon. But the most important about this hack is that the evolutions have been changed. As far as I know, no Fakemons are present, but Pokémon will evolve into Pokémon they normally wouldn't evolve into. And I will attempt to catch them all. All 271 Pokémon. Have I gone mad? Nope, I was already. Another thing: I am allowed to only catch basic Pokémon. Pokémon that have already evolved aren't eligible to catch for me. And yet another thing: I'll be using screenshots. Is there even more I need to type here? I don't think so. If there is, I'll edit it in later. Lesgo! Part 1: A short start A final note: you are allowed to speculate in this thread about which Pokémon will evolve into what. However, only speculate about the basic Pokémon that have been confirmed already. Also, if you have played this game before or know about some of the evolutions, please don't spoil. I know about some of them as well (like the starters' final evolutions) but there are people that don't want to get all the evolutions thrown at them already.
