Well, the background was meant to be a big backstory shocker by the end, but a member of team shadow is Jake's dad, who killed his mother on this "business trip", leaving Jake to tend to the house alone. Mark is Jake's mentor from team shadow who taught him every single thing he knows about fighting and such, but despite being so calm, has an extremely dark tendency to murder the innocent. Whenever Jake hit his head on the tree and was knocked out, he got amnesia, which made him forget his purpose of why he went to the academy, which was to kill Emerald. You're all missing out. Mega absol, sharpedo, and bannete can do a lot more damage than what they show. You've got guts though grass, you're one of the few around that DON'T have a mega handy.

I can't really, I'm sorry though. I run mega bannete for that priority abuse, but I think your teams aren't all dark/ghost orientated like mine, and want to use a different mega. Apparently whimiscott makes a great leech seed Sapper, and is a great annoying tank type pokemon. I use ferrothorn for that annoying tank pokemon but whimscott has that prankster... Whimiscott would be a fine addition to a team in lack of a sapper tank. sableye is a very odd pokemon. Weak as all hell but can dish pain out like no other. Honestly it depends on what you need on your team. A slower annoyance tank or

Grass. Competitive pokemon can be rage town or euphoria. Honestly unless you spend hours putting a team together for all possible variables it feels like luck of the draw in matchups.
