  1. You guys think Mega Glalie looks frightening now, wait 'till you see its red-eyed shiny mega form. No seriously, shiny Glalie has glowing red eyes.
  2. Huge news: The Flash and Aquaman are finally going to get their own movies!... in four years...

      zimvader42

Well four years ain't nothing. I hope their movies are good and that's pretty much it.

But I have to admit, never expected Aquaman to get a movie. Like, ever.

They´re gonna make movies of all superheroes and villians

  3. Update 25: The Second Exception-PULSE Battle So I began the raid on the Blackstream Factory, which meant free experience with Strawberry. Yeah, you know which battle I’m talking about. I literally sat there and spammed Aromatherapy and let my partner do it all for me. Speaking of Aromatherapy, it’s been replaced by Cotton Guard. It never really ended up being as useful as I thought it was, and now I have plenty of items compared to earlier in the game. I just think it’s more worth it to have an attack that can literally MAXIMIZE my defense in two uses. And so I came to the Pokemon Cage puzzle. You probably know how to solve the puzzle, but did you know that, if you teleport the Lickitung to the cage under the Ditto, he’ll give you a Rare Candy? And did you also know, if you teleport the Makuhita to the same cage, the Ditto will be able to break out, and you can take it with you? Do the Rare Candy thing first, it won’t work if the Ditto is no longer in the cage. I did, in fact, pick it up despite it not being 6th Gen. This is because later on, I would need to buy it to get the Experience Share. Picking it up now saves me 9 Green Shards. That being said, I released it the next time I had access to a PC. Also, another bonus thing you might not know is that you can use Loudred to wake up the guard again, and initiate an optional battle. I had originally intended to bring Pumpkin to the battle with ZEL and the Pulse Muk, but realized I had forgotten as soon as it began. I was like “eh, let’s see if I can do it without him” and I did. First up was Glaceon, who Strider two-shotted with Smack Down, outspeeding it even after taking an Icy Wind. Next up was Muk, who… actually went down the easiest of all of them. Sassy two-shotted it with Psyshock. Umbreon was next, and I couldn’t resist but have a stalling competition between it and Strawberry. I won of course, what with Cotton Guard, Fake Tears, and type advantage. Espeon was Jack’s first real chance to shine, and he almost screwed it up. Psychic did massive damage (the reason I wanted to bring Pumpkin along), and would have two-shotted him if he didn’t have Shadow Sneak.
  4. So mega Glalie has Refrigerate for its ability. Guess what that means? (Here's a hint: Julia would approve)
  5. The portal with all the water had closed, the (leftmost) head was still reeling, now was his chance. He leapt onto the dog's face, holding onto it by the ear. "Now, let's make sure you're not a regenerating cheater like the last guy." The snakes making up the beast's mane obviously went for him, but he had already taken off- with its ear.
  6. https://twitter.com/SerebiiNet/status/522078944506691584 Sorry bro
  7. Update 24: Gourgeist joins the battle! With Apollo still far from being ready to evolve, the Ghost and Bug gyms out of the way, and the Fighting gym coming up, now was the perfect time to start using Jack! Unfortunatley, that means I had to grind him up to everyone else’s level, since he was still at 25. I also retaught him Phantom Force because why not. He now has the moves Bullet Seed, Phantom Force, Shadow Sneak, and Trick-or-Treat. There’s… not really anything else to say this time around. Haven’t done any story progress since beating Shade, so I guess I’ll get on that now. Oh, and a word of advice that I learned the hard way: If you want to do the Vulpix/Mechanightmare quest for the experience, don’t bother unless you’re doing a first Gen run. You automatically receive Vulpix after beating the Klinklang with no ability to refuse.
  8. Excuse the double post, but this is sooooooo important compared to the above one, it needs its own spot. Customization. IS. CONFIRMED to not be in this game. Sorry guys, it was fun while it lasted in X and Y. Speaking of which, while these games are compatible with X and Y, it won't be getting a patch to include the new Mega and Primal forms. You know what that means? It means they're already in the game, and the hackers never did fully beat the programmers. There's over a dozen megas that they never discovered XD
  9. Well, now that I've been looking around, some sources claim the newsletter comes out on the 21st. Not that big a deal whichever one it is, it's only a difference of a single day.

  11. So, the demo was FINALLY announced for America and Canada. If you want it, keep reading. This paragraph is about the demo itself. If you already know everything about it, skip to the below paragraph. Basically, it takes place in Mossdeep city, and you start by choosing the second form of one of the starters. You explore the city and surrounding areas (including Shoal Cave), fight some people, battle and catch wild Pokemon, and find items. At the end you see mega evolutions that haven't been revealed outside of the demo (Steelix and Glalie), and get the mega stones for them as well. When the full game comes out, you can transfer the Pokemon and items you get from the demo to your main game. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, apparently if you play the demo at least once every day before getting the main game, you get secret events to happen in your main game that won't otherwise. Anyway, on to how you actually get it. First, you sign up with your email account to the Official Pokemon Website's Trainer Club Newsletter. Don't worry, it's free. Make sure that, like with the whole Club Nintendo thing with the Smash Demo, you have marketing emails enabled. Also, I suggest arranging your settings to make sure said marketing emails don't get sent to spam. Do this all by October 20th (next Monday), and on the 20th you'll receive the October issue of the Trainer's Club Newsletter. Somewhere in that issue will be a special code, that you use on the Eshop to download the demo. Also, I suggest using multiple emails if you have them, so that you get multiple codes. I predict a "gold rush" of sorts will ensue like it did with Smash Bros. And if you're reading this past Monday the 20th, then toooooooo bad! Yeah, the time frame is kinda suckishly small. Not to mention it's FIVE days after the rest of the world got it! EDIT: some sources say it's the 21st. Not that big a deal either way, it's only a difference of a single day.
  12. Back from my research and I've found out what Americans (and Canadians) have to do to get the demo! Somewhere in that issue will be a special code, that you use on the Eshop to download the demo. Also, I suggest using multiple emails if you have them, so that you get multiple codes. I predict a "gold rush" of sorts will ensue like it did with Smash Bros. As a matter of fact, I think I'm gonna make my own PSA topic about this, like I did with the Pokeball Vivillon. Brb while I do that. P.S. So there was a new trailer as usual, and Milotic was used as a target in the Mega showcase AGAIN! Please let this mean something Nintendo!
  13. As if the leak wasn't already confirmed fake, mega Steelix and Glalie are the guys in the demo. Speaking of which, there's FINALLY something on the American demo. It's coming out in... The October trainer club news letter? Excuse me while I research WHAT THAT EVEN IS.
  14. Edward expected to feel like he was launched from a slingshot at a weird angle, after all he was emulating the Alligator's "death roll" technique. But halfway through, he realized he had let go of the tail, and before he could react, wall. Even with superpowers, he was never any good at taking hits. He dropped to the floor and wondered if passing out was the best option. But no, he couldn't yet! He hadn't done anything of use in the battle (he WOULD have if everyone had listened)! He dragged himself to his knees, and then to his feet, and then to his... Whatever part of him does the flying. He had one more plan to kill this thing, but he didn't like it. It was gross. Plus he didn't know if the thing couWHY IS ENYA RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT? And why does no one ever listen to him? "Enya, I told you to stay put," He scolded her as he shot between Cerberus' legs to where she was standing. He hadn't "teleported" (he needed a name for that move), because there was no need and he wanted to conserve his energy as much as possible. "But, if you insist on fighting this guy, then fine, but I'm gonna cover you". This meant he now had to focus on the head right in front of him- once the torrent of water is gone. He didn't like getting wet.
  15. Tommorrow the demo comes out, although that leaker's already been proven false. Long story short, the reddit mods caught up to him and asked for proof, he gave them "proof" that was disproved by a 5 second Google search, they asked for real proof, and he disappeared to never be seen again. That being said, it would be hilarious if he actually guessed mega Solrock and Lunatone right. And guess what? America STILL doesn't have a release date for the demo!
  16. Concerning the name changing, I have good news. This guy said this: So PM him your save file and he can change it to your choice of blue-themed name
  17. I found some guy who found some people who found an interesting find in the latest CoroCoro scan. You know how Dialga, Palkia, Reshiram, and Zekrom are shown coming out of these ring-like portals? Well, in one of the portals behind Reshiram, you can see a dark outline of what is clearly Hoopa. And as you might know, taking a Hoopa to a certain NPC in X and Y prompts him to tell you that it can open ring-like portals to other places in the world. So yeah, Hoopa confirmed for ORAS. That said, it will still obviously be Nintendo-event only, as none of the "secret" Pokemon have ever been normally obtainable. Here's the video:
  18. Had the idea on this thread, and wasn't sure where to post this (It's not really worth making a new topic over) so forgive me if this is the wrong place, but it's the most recent and appropriate one I could think of. Should there be a place in the game to legally change your player name? I mean, we're going for "equal representation" with the whole genderless protagonist thing, so if we're able to change our Pokemon's names, we should be able to change OUR names.
  19. Well, Edward got his few seconds of distraction. Unfortunately, no one seemed to do anything with it! Ugh, it was as frustrating as when he was put in charge of younger scouts for group activities. The little brats NEVER listened to him, even though he knew what he was doing while they didn't! Oh well, his plan didn't work (technically it did, but the point was missed), so it was time to ditch it. In the most spiteful way possible. Ever seen an Alligator or a Crocodile do a "death roll"? Basically, after grabbing hold of its prey with its jaws, it spins around in place over and over again at superfast speeds. It twists up the prey like a Twizzler, and a split second later whatever part of the body's being held tears right off. That's exactly what Edward did to the Beast's tail.
  20. This got me thinking... What if Ame put a place in the game where you could legally change your player name? You know what, I'm going with this idea. If you can choose a genderless protagonist, you should be able to change your name. Where can I post this idea that Ame will see it?
  21. I was wondering if you'd do this. Turns out you didn't dissapoint XD But I'll just say it- the first looks very much like a girl and the second looks very much like a boy. Heck, if you didn't SAY they were non-binary, absolutley everyone here would have just thought "oh cool, new guy and girl". I wish it was like with Adrienn, where you really couldn't tell no matter how hard you looked.
  22. Basically, I'm trying to do to all three heads what the right head had done to the left head. In other words, pull the entire thing backwards from the other people in order to give them an opening to attack.
  23. Update 23: The easiest gym battle so far Like with the other gyms, I grinded up my team to the level cap. After running around for quite a while without running into a single wild Pokemon, I decided I needed a Sweet Scent slave. So I went back to the candy shop (you can do the puzzle an infinite number of times) and got a new Swirlix. She was female, so I named her Sweetie, after the Bellosom in my X version who serves the exact same purpose. It cost a Heart Scale to teach her Sweet Scent, but I had plenty of them after my little mining adventure. In the near future, she’ll also be my Flash slave. Apollo FINALLY learned a better attack in Volt Switch, and Sassy got a slightly better replacement for Extrasensory in Psychic. The battle with Shade was actually the only one so far where I didn’t have to soft-reset at all. I led with Apollo, because not only does he resist the Gengar’s two strongest moves, but he also can take away Shade’s field advantage with Parabolic Charge. I then Volt Swithced out, leaving “Corey” with only, like, 15 health, and had Strider outspeed him and finish him off. Or I would have, except that I forgot Shade uses Ultra Potions. A brief spam fest ensued between my Lick and Shade’s Ultra Potion, but in the end I won out. Chandelure was pretty much the only of Shade’s Pokemon that DiggersbyTho could touch, and she did not disappoint. Shade’s “ace” went down in one Bulldoze. Golett provided Pumpkin’s chance to set up the screens, before Strider came in again and used Water Pulse. Braveheart took out Rotom, but not before it used Discharge to bring back the field advantage. But by then, it was too late. He had only 2 Pokemon left, BOTH of them weak to fire, and my Fire Pokemon already had a Moxie Boost. Fire Fang one-shotted what was left of his team. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have even more grinding to do…
  24. Well, you said "other than Lopuny", but honestly I'd be very surprised if Lopuny WASN'T in this, what with the new mega and all.
