  1. Well, it turns out signing up for the code wasn't enough. I needed to have it connected to some "nintendo network ID" bullcrap. So not one single code for me, even though I signed up for FIVE SEPERATE ACCOUNTS.

trust me when I say it is nothing too exciting

I could be completely and utterly wrong, but. Since you already have the codes, wouldn't just signing up for the Network I.D right now, then downloading the demo work?

  2. Well, sound files for the Battle Frontier have been found in the demo's code. This doesn't completley confirm the frontier, but if it's in this game it kills any chance of Delta Emerald.
  3. Huh, guess I'll have to wait two episodes instead of just one before I'm in the clear to take this run all the way to the current update. Oh well, I'm patient. Also, I edited the last post to make it sound more like I know what I'm talking about XD
  4. And I thought having an Aquaman movie in 4 years was awesome. There's finally an MLP movie that's NOT Equestria Girls, coming out in 3 years!

      @General

It's not really better, video game movies have a baaaaaaaaaaad track record. Meanwhile, everything MLP (post 2010 of course) is at least decent, even the Equestria Girls movies.

what we need is more action hank ripping the ponies skin and burn them alive in tambos.

  5. Update 28: Binacle-Postponement I think I’ve figured out what the hardest 6th Gen Pokemon to get in this game is. It’s Binacle. Maybe it’s just me, but I seem to have the WORST luck with Rock Smash stuff. If I’m not looking for Pokemon (which is most of the time) then every single rock seems to have a Geodude. And when I AM looking for a Pokemon, I have to smash dozens of rocks before I can run into something- which is always a Geodude. I finally found and caught a Binacle, which isn’t even satisfying because it’s just for Pokedex completion. I have no real plans to use her. I know she’s potentially a powerful team member; it’s just that I already have a water type who can become a rock type, who is already a powerhouse, can change his type whenever he wants, and doesn’t suffer from the 4x grass weakness. Or 4x anything weakness. Or ANY weakness pretty much, because he's so fast, he almost always can change his type before the would-be-super-effective attack lands. Speaking of plans for the future, I want to postpone the rest of the playthrough for until episode 14 comes out. It’s no secret that in later episodes, Ame will add field effects for Kiki, Aya, Serra, and maybe Noel. It’s her intention that eventually, every gym leader will have his/her/xis own field effect. And in this regard, I’m like Goku- I want to beat them all when they’re at their best.
  6. Well, the question of whether or not there will be any more megas will be answered in next month's CoroCoro. If they don't have any more megas to reveal, no one does. Alternatively, if they do have more megas, well, that answers your question.
  7. It's been confirmed that the North American version of the demo, coming out tomorrow, will have Mega Glalie. That's kinda lame...
  8. Update 27: Cal and Victoria boss battles On my way through Pyrous Mountain, I ran into a shiny Magcargo, which made me think about the Shiny Clause. If you’re doing a monogen challenge of your own and you want a Shiny Clause, then sure you can have one. However, you cannot use the shinies. Personally, I won’t be implementing that Clause since in Reborn, shinies are more common and less valuable. The worst part about fighting Cal is that I needed SlaveTho in my team just to get to him, which means I had to ditch someone. I decided to box Strawberry, since he only has a Fairy and a Grass type attacking move (Also, I switched Jack out for Pumpkin). The second worst part is the superheated field. It has several effects, but only two of them mattered in this battle: boosting fire moves and weakening water moves, like with sunny day. To top all that off, he can use Sunny Day for DOUBLE the effect of sun! For that reason, I was smart enough to fight him on a rainy day. It boosted water and weakened fire, canceling out the field as if I were fighting him on neutral terrain. And if he does use Sunny Day, he turns it into a Rainbow Field, which… actually doesn’t help me at all. But hey, it’s better than double sun power. I led with Pumpkin and set up the Screens as usual, then sent in Sassy to OHKO Infernape with Psychic. For some reason, the thing used Mach Punch on her, despite having used Flame Wheel twice on Pumkin. Weird. Anyway, Charizard was next, and under normal circumstances, he would have been the hardest, because the only weaknesses I could exploit would be Water, which was weakened by the field, or Electric, which wouldn’t work because Apollo 1: sucks and 2: has dry skin. However, my Greninja still happens to know Smack Down, so yeah, you know how that went. From there, the rest was just DiggersbyFuel. A lot of people found the next battle against Victoria to be annoying, but I found it to be the perfect opportunity to redeem myself from the atrocious battle against her in Shelly’s gym. This time, I was prepared. Against the Scraggy, instead of OHKOing it with my Fairy move, I set up a pair of Cotton Guards first. What little damage I took was quickly healed by the next attack. I expected Emboar next, but nope it was Heracross. Same thing happened to it as did the Scrafty, although it took 2 turns instead of one. THEN the Emboar came out. With maximum defense, I had more than enough wiggle room to Fake Tears it twice, which led to an easy 2 hit KO. Gallade was coming next and I was running out of PP for that one move, so I went to Jack. Did you know, using trick-or-treat on a Psychic type is the only way to score 4x damage with Ghost moves? Hoopa doesn’t count because he’s not official yet. Last was Hariyama, who was quickly dealt with by Sassy. Next up is Kiki, yet ANOTHER boss battle. But first, there's another Pokemon living around the beach that I need to catch for the Pokedex.
  9. This promotional image seems to hint at a mega Slaking, Milotic, and Zangoose, as they are the only guys up there who don't have confirmed megas. And if Zangoose gets a mega, then Serviper MUST get one as well, and that makes 4. And as I said, there's room for 4 in the demo's code... Oh, and Pikachu's there too, but he doesn't count because he's Pikachu and appears on everything no matter what.
  10. Well, the thing doesn't regenerate, or at least as far as Edward can tell. So it seems his plan might work after all. The thing swung its tail, but it did so blindly and didn't even come close to hitting Edward (he was too high up). There was one more thing he had to do before trying out his plan to kill the thing- but before he could do anything else, he heard a sickening CRACK, one that he recognized as the sound of a human breaking. He turned slowly, expecting and dreading to see Enya lying in a pool of her own blood. Nah, it was just some other girl lying in a pool of her own blood. Enya herself was lying over there- just out of reach of the tail. Wait, the position she was in suggests she was pushed out of the way at the last second... did this chick just sacrifice herself for Enya?! Ugh, what was wrong with him? If he had been paying more attention, he could have (probably) gotten both her and himself out of the way and avoided any sacrifice! Now Enya was getting back up, and she looked pissed. Immediately afterward, another one of those static portals (which he had already figured to associate with her) opened up beneath Cerberus. And he was still next to Cerberus. And it was the biggest portal he'd seen so far. And judging by the cute girl's demeanor, he was sure that this particular portal would mean bad news to anyone near it. "Yeah, I think I'll just... go over here..." he said to no one in particular as he flew to the far side of the room. Now that he was out of the way, he needed to test Cerberus' blood. His plan to kill the beast would never work if, say, it had acidic blood. He rubbed the bloody end of the severed ear against the wall, smearing redness all over it. When it didn't seem to be eating away at the wall, he stuck his hand in just to make sure.
  11. Oh right... I totally forgot about that one :| yeah, I'll just... edit that out now...
  12. Well, I tried it in 12.1 and it turns out the event didn't even exist yet.
  13. Nope, Kiki's still alive when I did it. As a matter of fact, it was before I even met Kiki for the first time.
  14. So after this happened to me in my monogen run of Reborn (much to my inconvenience, because due to the rules of the challenge I had to soft-reset and lose a bunch of progress), I looked on the Pokemon Location Guide and didn't see anything about it. So I'm sorry for wasting your time if you already know about this. According to the Location Guide, you can only get Meditite on Route 2, which is very late game. But what if I told you... you can get it as early as Apophyll Academy? Too lazy to type up the description of how to get it a second time, so I'll just copy/paste what I said in the monogen thread:
  15. Update 26: Apophyll stuff Well... I discovered something new. I talked to this random girl at the Academy, and she just inexplicably shoved a Meditite into my hands. I had to reset, and do a TON of trainer battles all over again. Later on, when I was going to write about it, I went back to her (saving first of course) to get it again so I could spell it right. But she never gave it to me… She instead said some hippe garbage about reaching zen or something. I looked on the location guide and it didn’t say anything about this, so I had to figure it out myself. Basically, by “reaching zen”, the girl means “listen to a bunch of lectures”. You know how, around the second floor of the academy, there are these NPCs who ask if you want them to read Kiki’s past lectures to you? Well, if you find all of them and listen to all their lectures, then go back to that girl, THEN she gives you the Meditite. And unfortunately for me, you can’t refuse. On the subject of NPCs at the academy, I got the 5th sticker, which means I can now buy… a bunch of stuff I’ll probably never use. Well, since I was at the department store anyway, I doubled my amount of common candies. I’m approaching the level cap already, but won’t be getting a level increase for a while. Oh, right, I skipped over the random battles didn’t I. Diggersby wanted to learn Bounce, but I decided on keeping Hammer Arm. With the fighting gym coming up, I wonder if I’m gonna regret that. Well, if it turns out I do, then I can just go back to Onyx ward and change it, I got a heart scale from one of the two mining rock in this entire episode. In the other I found a Mind Plate for Sassy.
  16. Oh and the levels are different, but that was a given considering it's a post-champion battle and not THE champion battle. Plus, the new Hoopa form (not mega) is TWENTY ONE FEET TALL. HOLY BALLS ON A STICK.
  17. Did some even further research on the Wallace postgame bonus battle, and it turns out it's a battle against his Emerald team, the one he uses as Champion. There's one difference: His Milotic's Sitrus Berry is gone... Could it get replaced with-?
  18. Someone didn't hear about the postgame boss battle~ Basically, the demo's codes have a list of all the trainers you battle in the game, in order, from youngster whatshisface to Champion Steven to several post-game only trainers. Wallace is the only gym leader listed twice here, his second time being listed is directly after Champion Steven. Not to mention in Emerald version, HE is champion
  19. Just realized. What I said about there being at least 4 megas left? Well, Slowbro, Beedrill, Glalie, and Gyrados have announced megas while their counterparts don't... and that's four.
  20. Starting at line 752 in the items list, the game lists Swampertite, and from there starts listing the mega stones that weren't in X and Y. However, the list is broken up by blank spaces up to Glalie's mega stone, and even after that there are more blank lines all the way up to 775. That's a total of 24 lines, mostly blank spaces. And since there are 20 known new megas (counting Primal ones and NOT counting Hoopa because it's not a mega), that means there are at least 4, possibly more, mega evolutions to be announced.
  21. So, the whole Ebola thing seems to have turned into a political issue now, what with the Prometheus crew level of stupidity that was shown by the leadership recently ("Oh this chick's got a super duper contagious and ultra deadly virus that's killing off a bajillion people LET'S BRING HER TO AMERICA WITHOUT ANY SAFETY PRECAUTIONS"). Surprised I haven't seen talk of it on here. But the real question is: Is it really that dangerous or is it gonna turn out like the swine flu did? Because I was extremely underwhelmed when the swine flu came to where I live after all I had heard about it. Heck, I might have even HAD the swine flu at some point and never noticed, thinking it was a regular flu.
  22. Going through the Demo's unused text files confirms that Wallace is the 8th gym leader, not Jaun. Making mega Milotic all the more likley.
  23. Turns out the "Mega" Hoopa is its own form. No mega stone, different moveset than normal Hoopa, and Magician for the ability (which would be a completley useless ability for a mega evolution, as you need to not have a hold item for magician to work). Plus, a bunch of empty item slots were found between mega stones. Twenty-seven, in fact. This further supports my theory.
  24. Okay, looking into the hacked list of egg moves, some of them are stupid. MUDKIP with WING ATTACK. PIDGEY with THUNDERPUNCH. The coders must have intentionally done this to screw with the hackers. This all but confirms my theory about the megas.
  25. So apparently a hacker has discovered Mega Hoopa in the demo's code... and no other megas. I have a hard time believing that what we've seen is all there is, so I think the developers were smart, and didn't include any unannounced megas in the demo's coding. Hoopa had to be there, however, because it's the reward for playing the demo every day. That's my theory, anyway. The guy doing the hacking is using the European version of the demo, so we'll see when the American version comes out... Also, looking through the movesets reveals some... interesting stuff. Milotic gets Disarming Voice, for one, Vibrava gets Boomburst. Cacturne gets Spiky Shield. Sharpedo can learn Poison Fang.
