  1. It was either 11 or 12 when Ame upped the difficulty of finding them, so you definatley want to use episode 9.
  2. Well, We will be able to determine whether it's real or not by the 15th, this upcoming Wednesday, which is when the demo comes out. The leak claims that the Solrockite and Lunatonite will be in the demo. So, demo comes out ----> mega Solrock and Lunatone confirmed = leaks are true If demo comes out ----> the new megas are anything but Solrock and Lunatone = leaks are fake.
  3. Maybe America will actually get the Demo over Eshop unlike all the other countries, and that's why we've never heard anything about it. Making a note to check the Eashop on the 15, and every subsequent week afterward.
  4. Update 22: Pancham Playground Another thing about Sigmund that seems suspicious is his unhealthy obsession with that particular group of kids. He literally leaves his orphanage, which is still full of kids to torture, by the way, to chase after those specific ones? One could argue that he’s secretly a Team Meteor member, if it wasn’t for the cutscene when you enter the railnet. He joined team meteor after he was weirdly obsessed with those kids, as a matter of fact he joined BECAUSE he was weirdly obsessed with them. And they just HAPPENED to be the ones with the Amethyst Pendant and Ruby Ring? I’m telling you his craziness isn’t just normal craziness, it’s clearly being driven by some evil force. Anyway, when you’re down in the railnet with the gang trying to open the northern door, make sure to go to the southeast corner and pick up the dull key. If you beat Shade before you pick it up, you won’t be able to get it until much later in the game! The key goes to the locked door in the back of the Obsidia slums, which is the only place to find wild Pancham (and Scraggy, but you know…). If this were pre-Florina, I wouldn’t hesitate to put one on the team. But at this point, I don’t see the appeal in it. Still caught one of course because expert mode. By the way, while I was fighting one, its Karate Chop attack hit Strider while he was a ghost type. Fix that, Ame. And you’re probably about to call me out on complaining about the overleveled Beartic, and not the overleveled Pangoros. Well, with Beartic, he was level 57, he had a field effect backing him up, and I didn’t have any Pokemon that could exceptionally stand up to him (Braveheart was in the PC). The Pangoros, however, are only level 45-50, have a neutral field, and I have a Pokemon who can both tank their hits and dish out x4 damage, while healing itself. They yielded some really good experience for Strawberry. Only one problem though: I had to reset over and over because for the longest time, their Body Slam either Critical hitted or Parahaxed me EVERY SINGLE TIME. I swear, that’s not an exaggeration. P.S. if you turn down your chance to add Scrafty to the team after saving it, you can still pick it up by going to the room you fought the Scraggy gang in.
  5. If you're referring to me Rose, then yeah I know. It's just that the thing's trying to hit Edward with the snake tail, which is an extremity of the body, about as far away from the mane as you can get. Plus, I'm pretty sure I wrote "snake-tail" to describe it in my last comment...
  6. Oh look, Spain, yet ANOTHER country smaller than the U.S. that gets the demo before the U.S. What a suprise.
  7. I can forsee two ways this new idea of Edward's can turn out, and honestly I don't know which one is funner. They're both extreme opposites, one being brutal and the other comical. Ultimately it's not my decision to make though, but Notus/Rose's.
  8. Edward considered it a net gain. Sure his roundhouse kick missed, and he had crashed into a wall, but way the beast "dodged" had given him an idea. And when the snake-tail came for him, it was the perfect chance to try that idea out. Instead of barrel rolling out of the way like he would've done without the idea, he dropped and shot back up a split second later, wrapping his arms around where the snake's head meets the... Neck? He'd handled snakes before, and that's where you want to grab them, since they can't turn around to bite you. Unless it's a super friendly snake like his pet Python Oakley, in which case it really doesn't matter where you pick it up. He pulled forward (to Cerberus, it's backward), hoping to do to all 3 heads what the left head just did to the right head. As he did, he shouted out "Hey everyone, now's your chance!"
  9. Um Kaze, Beedril wasn't in generation 3 either.
  10. Considering that, of all the regional birds, it just HAPPENED to be the Jesus one, I think it did. But on the subject of favorite Pokemon getting megas, I've seen a lot of support latley for Mega Milotic. Almost as much as Flygon, even. Those two are the most requested megas now, but back before Mega Salamence and Metagross were announced, THEY were the most requested. So if Mega Milotic and Flygon do happen, what do you guys think will be the new most requested megas? Personally I wouldn't be requesting any more, Milotic was, is and probably will continue to be the only mega I really really want.
  11. Finally got around to counting, and if what they said about the legendaries is true then that means there are a whopping 31 legendary Pokemon in ORAS! They're probably going to be split up between versions though so it's kinda less impressive.
  12. Event as in stuff like Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Diancie, etc. the legendary Pokemon that can only be got through promotional distributions. Apparently, any legendary that isn't only obtainable through events like that will be catchable through the post game of either X and Y or OR and AS.
  13. They're confirmed but you got the types wrong. They're both the same type as usual. Pidgeot has no guard and Beedril has adaptability, and I can almost garuntee there's gonna be a mega Butterfree. Maybe Fearow as well? Anyway, a Sevii islands of sort is also in the game, in which you fly on a mega Latios or Latias (yes, they were revealed this issue... At least it isn't so bad because of the other two) to find them, and you can apparently encounter ALL the non-event legendaries that weren't catchable in X and Y. This means Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyruem, the swords of justice, the legendary beasts, the Tower Duo, the Lake Guardians, the three genie guys, Cressalia, and Heataran! All on top of the usual legendaries of the third generation (plus Regigigas)! Holy crap that's a lot of post-game content!
  14. Update 21: The Orphanage Okay, so you want me to believe that Sigmund was just happening to take a stroll, and HAPPENING to take two guards with him on said stroll, and taking said stroll at the exact time Heather was leaving the gym, and happened to pass by the gym at just that time on that exact same stroll? Yeah no, he KNEW this would happen. I know he’s crazy and all, what with his hobby of torturing orphans and all, but I’m thinking there might also be some demonic influence with this guy or something. The actual battles didn’t have anything noteworthy going on in them, mostly because since my partner was a flying type, DiggersbyTho’s Bulldoze attack completely wrecked the place. I wonder just how many kids there dream of the building actually getting bulldozed to the ground. I actually kinda expect something like that to actually happen by the end of the game (specifically by a certain gym leader’s Dragonite). By the way, if you’re doing a normal run or a first/second/fourth Gen run, don’t forget to pick up the data chip behind the monitor for the commons lock. Bring it to the glitching computer in the Onyx school to initiate a battle with a Porygon. Something I that definitely wasn’t there last time I played through the story was blood on the wall of one of the orphan’s cells- a lot of it. Like, as much blood as you’d expect if a kid somehow pulled a Corey in there. As much as Connal talks about legal stuff, something tells me he’d be screwed if someone ACTUALLY did an official inspection. But the worst thing about the place is how the orphan’s Pokemon are all confiscated. If you’ve played any of the official games or seen the anime, you know this orphanage is against everything the Pokemon franchise stands for. One more creepy thing about the place-that stabby stabby kid next to where you rescue Charlotte. Chances are, you talked to him once, backed away slowly, and locked him back up. But, you actually want to keep talking to him. 3 times in fact. On the third time, he randomly gives you a rare candy for your courage. Afterward, he says “so soft… they scream” every time you talk to him. 10/10 best npc ever. And you know how Dr. Connal says he alerted the authorities and that you’d all be arrested? That’s a complete lie. I literally walked into the Police Department right afterwards and everyone there had the exact same dialogue as always.
  15. I've been seeing a recent rise in support of Communism lately (not here but on the internet as a whole) so let me just clarify something for everyone. If you like video games, you don't like Communism. Because the simple fact is that Communist nations either don't make video games, or they're like China and they make BAAAAAAAAD video games.
  16. You know Timber Dragon, you actually SHOULD put the bit about Gyrados back in the description. That way noobs will spend who knows how long looking for Magikarp and it'll be hilarious. Then again, it would mean the forums here would get absolutely spammed by said noobs asking for how to get it...
  17. Technician at a point of the game where everyone's still using tackle and mud-slap and stuff. Pretty much powers up ALL your moves early-game. Plus, Fury Cutter.
  18. Update20: Back to difficult battles. Yipee. I’ve figured out why I find certain battles leading up to Gym Leaders to be harder than the leaders themselves. Against the leaders I go all out, not caring who goes over what level because I’m gonna either raise the level cap or use a common candy afterward. In regular everyday battles, I don’t want to make any of my Pokemon go any higher than the others, so I don’t use strategies that could make those battles easier. For example, Fern’s Ferroseed. Braveheart was too far ahead of the rest of the team, so I had switched her for Pumpkin. And to the rest of the team, well it’s a Ferroseed. You know how hard it is to take one down without fire moves! Plus, there’s the issue with Apollo. He’s begun to fall behind so much, several opponents have one-shotted him despite the fact that he’s a higher level (go home Fern’s Roserade you’re drunk). I’ve had to resort to training him like one would a Magikarp, which makes things even harder because I take a turn to switch out (aforementioned Roserade keeps outspeeding everything I have and getting dumb Sleep Powder hax. The only way I even won that was through Pumpkin's Prankster Screens). I’ve decided that, once I get past Shade, I’m gonna train up Jack and use him as a (temporary?) replacement, and train Apollo on the side until he finally is ready to evolve. The battle with Cain went much smoother actually, because I had a Pokemon on hand who was almost perfect to take down each of his- Apollo (backed up by Pumpkin) for Dewott, Diggersbytho for Nidoking, Rock-type Strider for Venomoth, and Sassy for Grimer. Just my luck that the easier rival battle is the one where I get denied the wasteland key for two whole episodes...
  19. At first Edward stood dumbfounded, partly because of what the girl said, partly because of what she did, and partly just because she was looking at him. Well, anyway "Ace" must be the name of her teddy beaOH BALLS HERE IT COMES! Normally he would've given Enya a warning, like "hold on tight because we're gonna go really fast" or something, but there wasn't time. While holding one arm against her back, he put his other one behind her legs and pushed them out from under her, so that she fell backwards into his the first arm. He wondered if this was what people meant by "sweeping a girl off her feet". As long as it took to describe that motion, he had done it in only a millisecond or two, and took off with the sound of a jet engine, just barley escaping Cerberus' jaws in time. And when it's barley by Edward's standards, you know it was a REALLY close call. He flew her to the doorway he had entered in, reconsidered, as that was the one with the giant turtle and the stranger danger, and flew her over to the other one that neither he nor Cerberus entered by. "Listen Enya, I now know you also have super powers, but you'll have to use them at range. Whatever you do, DON'T move yourself or Ace physically from this spot. Unless Cer-the big dog comes for you himself. If that happens, run for it down this hallway. Understand?" He had a (bad?) habit of saying what he needed/wanted to say and then leaving before getting a response. Such was the case here: before Enya could say anything, he was back at the scene of the battle, aiming to deliver a flying roundhouse kick to the rightmost head of the beast (the one attacking Mr. Old guy). But it looked like he might have taken too long with Enya, he wasn't going to make it in time...
  20. Well that's only on clear days, which I'm not due to receive for a while.
  21. It always seems that the dread of an upcoming event is scarier than the event itself. Edward felt much better just seeing his opponent, imposing as it was. "Cerberus huh. I bet he's the boss of this circle. If we kill it we can go on to level 4. Sorry Mr. Guy (you still haven't told me your name), but the guns won't help after all. You're gonna have to use your superpowers if we want to stand a chance." He spoke more calmly than he was a second ago, but no less serious. "As for me, I guess it's time to show you WHY I was better suited to fight Quincy. Aaaaaaafter I make sure Enya's safe." And there he was, suddenly and inexplicably on the complete other side of the room, next to the girl he had just named. Well crap, this is the first time he's spoken to her! What should he say... Well the Teddy bear indicates she's still in THAT stage of her life. He had grown out of it at 6, but he knew everyone matured at different rates. And in about 10 years, both she and him would probably look and act the same age. But for now, since she was still in a primordial mindset, he should appeal to her childlike fascination. "Your name's Enya, right? Tell me, have you ever wanted to fly?"
  22. Suddenly, Edward shifted his tone to a much, MUCH more serious one. "Okay Mr. guy-what is your name anyway? Mine's Edward- arm yourself with as many of those guns as you can NOW. We've got a category 5 crapstorm headed directly toward us, ETA 30 seconds!" He hadn't spent much time on the ground latley, and now he wished he did. He was taught in Scouts about feeling stuff through vibrations in the earth, but wasn't that good at it. But he didn't need to be good at it to notice that something big and terrifying was either coming or already here. Enya. He needed to warn Enya. Oh and the other guys too I guess. He tossed one of the spare guns toward the old guy, and without even seeing if he caught it, ran over to the wall-still not showing his super side just yet- and called out to them. "Hey guys, when I told you about taking the bungee cord down from there, it was just a friendly suggestion. But now I'm telling you that you need to get down from there NOW!" He could still feel it. He was standing on both feet, not even squatting like he was when he first felt it, and he could still feel it! What was going on? He was legitimately scared for the first time in a while, and that's saying something considering HE'S IN HELL WITH SUPERPOWERS.
  23. It's the Smoocum event. Not like I was gonna get the Smoochum anyway, I just wanted the experience. Apparently I forgot how strong it was.
  24. Update 19: I abuse the new HM Rock Smash is a horrible move in battle, but gosh darn if it isn’t useful in the field. Today I ditched the story (again) and went around exploring new places with the move that is the reason I replaced Slavebat with SlaveTho. First stop was the place where I get the mining kit. I’ll be honest, I spent most of the time grinding the minable rocks until I got stuff I wanted. This includes shards, heart scales (one of which I used to teach Diggersbytho Hammer Arm), max revives, stuff that can be sold (including evolution stones I won’t use), any plates that would help my team (Earth Plate for Diggersbytho, Spooky Plate for Jack, Zap Plate for Apollo, Splash Plate for Strider), a Helix Fossil (it will come into play later even though I can’t use Omanyte) and the Sun stone. That brings us to why I found it dismaying to see Apollo lagging behind everyone else. I can evolve him now that I have the stone, but I don’t want to for quite a while. You see, there’s a difference between Pokemon who are traded to evolve (like Strawberry was) and those who use stones. A trade-evolved Pokemon will learn the exact same moves at the exact same levels as its pre-evolution, the only real difference being better stats. But a stone-evolved Pokemon learns little to no moves by level up. For that reason, I don’t want to evolve Apollo into Heliolisk until level 49, when he learns Thunderbolt. That’s 14 levels away. On a lighter note, I found a Linkstone in the cave to the north of the Beryl Ward, which means I had no qualms in evolving Jack for the reasons listed above. But I still haven’t gotten around to grinding him yet. Also, I found an Odd Keystone while mining, which makes me feel bad because I’ve heard people complain that they couldn’t find one no matter how hard they looked. Meanwhile, I found one when I’m not even gonna use it! No story progress today, but lemme ask you something Ame, What is this thing doing in my level 35-40 area?
  25. You forgot Gardevoir, Swampert, and Rayquaza. And undoutably Milotic if it gets confirmed.
