  1. So if you were to suddenly and unexpectedly acquire a pet female peacock, what would you name it? 'Cuz that's what just happened to me (female peacocks are brown and don't have the big tail feathers the males are known for)

I was going to say Brownie xD I heard that peacock is horribly dry though, on the topic of eating those things

  2. In the demo, I finally got to access Steven's house. Anyone else here (who's in America) who got it today as well?

Nah, it's the "Let's go somewhere secret" thing that's random. This seems to happen at a set number of days. Not sure if I'm behind though.

Well... I've been playing everyday at least once since I get the Demo on the 15th... and until now I never got the "Let's go somewhere secret" I'm actually really pissed about it... but whatever... I'm really unlucky with those kind of random things...

There has been people on Tumblr who made it there a little while ago.

  3. Also, yet another field effect that can be repeatedly switched by spamming one move, that happens to be buffed by both. Last one was the factory fields and Discharge.
  4. Oh, CRAP, the last legendary encounter was... and I couldn't even catch it!
  5. So what you're telling me is that you've only played HALF of gold, silver, crystal, heartgold, soulsilver, black, white, black 2 and white 2?
  6. Hmm, sure why not. But it might take a while since I have other things I should be doing right now.
  7. Well, nevermind about the Nintendo Direct. It just finished and there was nothing about ORAS in it at all. Just watch, the disappointment goes even further by CoroCoro not leaking this weak
  8. Aaaand it's over. Nothing about ORAS. At all.

It's a remake. Did you expect revolutionary news?

People are still holding out hope for Mega Flygon, so I guess they really do expect revolutionary news.

  9. The Nintendo Direct has begun! Here's the link: http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/11-05-2014/

  10. Less than an hour to go until the Nintendo Direct. Anyone know where I can watch it from?

  11. Remember back in 2012 when everyone was like "Republican Party is gone forever"? Lol fun times. I don't see how anyone could've believed that, since history has shown that the political scene has always been a cycle. One party comes to power for a whole, then another party comes to power for a while, then the first party comes back to power for a while, etc.
  12. Remember that promotional image that hinted at megas for Slaking, Milotic, and Zangoose? It's returns in this trailer. But instead of Zangoose and Slaking, this time it's Hariyama and Flygon. And Milotic's there TWICE.
  13. We've got a possible boatload of news coming up! Tommorow at 5pm (est) there will be a Nintendo Direct on "upcoming 3ds and Wii U titles. Pretty sure there will be something on ORAS, question is if any of it will be new. But more importantly, a few hours afterward is around the time we can expect the final CoroCoro issue.
  14. Well, I do have a kinda major nitpick- that one time you changed up Quincy's inventory and what Edward and Mr. Taylor got from it. If I had known about the cane sword, Edward would have picked that up instead of a gun.
  15. May I suggest you put a list of your team members in spoiler text on the first post, like I did? That way, people reading this can more easily match nicknames to the Pokemon bearing them.
  16. And with a not really that significant or shocking a twist, the third Under the Hill circle comes to an end. Next stop: Greed.

    1. Rosesong

      Rosesong

      But that wasn't a twist...

  17. Oh wow, what a plot twist #sarcasm. Big friendly giant was actually working all along with big voice guy to... do what exactly? Make them go to the next circle? WELL GUESS WHAT. I WAS GONNA DO THAT ANYWAY. As for the identity of the big voice, Edward guessed it was Satan. From the way it sounded to what it actually said to, well, the fact that he's in hell, it seemed to match what he had been taught about the Devil- someone that whispers lies into your ear to make you question yourself. He wasn't going to ignore it, no that would be stupid, but he also wasn't going to be scared of it. Satan couldn't do anything to steal his soul, for the same reason Minos couldn't find a single sin on his profile. The worst he could do is maybe get some monster down here to kill him physically, but even that wouldn't last because of the respawning! Throw in the superpowers, and you have a kid who isn't afraid of anything. "I think I've waited long enough" he said to himself as he dropped to the floor. "Time to move on to world 4!"
  18. And there goes Kenny. Wait, doglike Bipedal creature? Wow, he really was a Lucario. Well anyway, that leaves just him and the BFG on this circle. He was going to give it a few more minutes, to make sure the guy moved on enough so that they wouldn't bump into each other.
  19. Oops, sorry I really did mean to post that here. Gimme a few minutes, I'll edit that into an actual addition to the story.
  20. And here comes the two that ran off earlier. Looks like stranger danger won that fight, as he was carrying Taylor's body. Wait, but didn't Taylor have grey hair? This guy's hair is dark brown. As a matter of fact, he seems to be in his twenties while Taylor was at least in his fifties. But on the other hand, he's dressed the exact same way Taylor was... THAT'S IT! TIME MANIPULATION! Edward had guessed earlier that time manipulation was one of Taylor's possible powers, and this was the proof: Mr. Taylor made himself young again! But that begs the question, why would he ever want to be an old guy in the first place? He could only think of one reason: disguise. And disguise = clearly hiding something. That kinda explains the weirdly flattery-sounding stuff he said to Ethic a few minutes ago, and his insistence on keeping all the guns. Well, not so much "explains" as "makes it all make a bit more sense". He had no idea what the context was with this scene, but he would make sure to be wary of either of these guys from now on. Until then, all he has left to wait for is Kenny. As he finished this circle's ration of (not) flan, he realized with a jolt: HE DIDN'T PICK UP A SOUVENIR! In the first circle, he had taken a thing from each previous circle to act as a souvenir of his epic adventure- a book from the first circle (after he ripped the shadow person inside it apart), and a rose from the second circle. But from this circle, all he had was the flan, and he intended to eat that! Okay, new food rationing plan: He would eat flan for his snack breaks up until he only had one container of it left, and then switch to the food he brought himself. That way, the final container of flan would be this circle's souvenir.
  21. Edward Collier Status: in the middle of a snack break that he takes in between circles, hiding in a dark corner near the ceiling of Cerberus' room. Waiting to be the last guy to exit the third circle. Traveling with: well, see status. Inventory: a backpack (that is seemingly indestructible or something), that contains a bunch of plot conveniences Scout-related survival gear, as well as gear related to spelunking. Other notable things in it include several containers filled with Blancmange, which he mistakes for Flan, three handguns taken from Quincy, magazines of ammo for said handguns, a [Error: ItemName Redacted], an Iphone of some number that he forgot, a book taken from the first circle, and a rose taken from the second circle.
  22. Well, Ethic went on to the next world and took Enya with him. He was kinda sad to see Enya go, but he was almost positive that, at some point over the remaining circles, they would meet again. For now, at least, he wanted to go solo. Speaking of remaining circles, what was next after Gluttony? Anger? That or Greed. No wait, it had to be Greed, since it's similar to Gluttony. Well, according to Dante's depiction of hell, the next circle was going to be a sort of turf war. There were two factions of lost souls, the hoarders and the squanderers, who were forced to fight each other with heavy weights (that may or may not be sacks of gold coins) for weapons. A never ending war between people who greedily stock up more money than they'll ever use and the people who stupidly waste all their money on pointless things. As awesome as that sounds, it was unlikley considering Dante's track record of being wrong about almost everything so far. Guess we'll find out- once he's the last guy on the current circle. He'd have to wait for Kenny, Mr. Oldguy, and Stranger Danger. Apparently friendly giant will stay here. That meant he'd have to use his hyperspeed invisibility trick to get out of here when he's ready. By the way, he really needed to come up with a name for it. How about "Apparating"? It's the name given to the act of teleporting in Harry Potter. But unlike Harry's version, which is really just teleportation under a different name, his version was actually something different, and therefore deserving of a different title.
