It is a grey, cold day of november. It rains of that light rain you barely even see. A guy somewhere is playing a blues song with a trumpet. I am tucked in, trying to recover switftly from my cold. It's all so perfectly depressing, I cannot wipe this smirk off my face.

Again, Venomoth (I checked and what do I know, it IS available). Its typing is largely superior both offensively and defensively, and it still gets Quiver Dance on top of Sleep Powder. I REALLY think you should give the moth a try.

I second the Yanmega idea as well. Alternatively, a criminally underrated Bug-type that could do well in your team is Venomoth, although I cannot remember if that is in Reborn.

@Flynn what persuaded me to include you was the fact that you were willing to take the risk to include solutions that are vital in multis, while still trying to keep the Pokemon that carry them relevant for singles. That proves that you are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your strategy will work under any circumstances.

Lord Drakyle's Venusaur has Sludge Bomb repeated twice, and I am pretty sure that having the same move twice on one Pokemon is illegal under any circumstances. Was it a mistake upon making the card? -

Hard to say. Other than the main plot that ends shortly after the first gym, there's a number of sidequests to take on. It really depends on how determined you are on finding ALL of the Pokemon available in Ep 1 (some are very rare and/or found only in a specific location).

Not to mention that one "graterrian" mon that is both. And thanks Jake: if everything goes as planned, the official release should come in a couple of days tops, so stay tuned!

We are not into the business of revealing type combinations outside of announcements But hey, you want a spoiler? Here's one: of our 7 legendaries, none is of the Dragon type. And none is gonna be catchable anytime soon by the way EDIT: and yes the first two gyms are going to be very close to one another, meaning the level caps between them will have to be very strict. This was done intentionally to counterbalance the fact that, once you get to the wilder part of the region (the desert area, as well as the Tasmania-inspired area) there will be large areas to explore with no town in sight... So of course, for those passages of the game the level cap will be much more lenient. Remember, we only have 8 gyms.

Good luck getting EQ on Flygon in Reborn. I'd personally go with Diggersby any day of the week.

Welp, the clues in regards to who is whom, and what are the type combinations of each starter, have been there since the OP of this very topic. This being said, you will have to wait untill you play the game for actual confirmation... Although given the level cap we decided to enforce, you won't be evolving your starter in Ep 1

By the way, of the 3 part-Dragon combinations you want, you are gonna get 2 in Se7en, one of which is in fact a starter. Se7en: the game in which a mono-Dragon does not require cheating!

Frankly, I don't understand all the irrational hatred the Fire/Fighting type gets. It has 3 representatives (which is about half the representatives of, say, Normal/Flying), each of which are largely different from one another, not only in terms of competitive role, but also in terms of gameplay in their native games. Not to mention their designs which have very little in common. So yeah, I think some of you guys are making way too big of a deal about this :/

I shall tell you people what I told Stratos and Ody privately: I did make a team that is Redemption-legal, but I will not be able to join the league because university. Therefore, if you need advice, help refining your team, and/or a sparring partner, I am here. I will be dropping by the server from time to time, just hit me up when you see me online
