Anime Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 Roleblocked I was, but my life is yet my own. Whoever roleblocked me will not silence the voice of truth. I had whispered to both Lykos and Seal, I tried making them admit their alignments and stated that i will expose them if they lied, but only Lykos mentioned he was town and did not seem to be lying. Seal was not very chatty, perhaps he was mafia scum and feared i might expose him, thus roleblocking me. That is the only conclusion i can come up with. Of the 4(escort, consort, jailor and pirate), I think escort/jailor and consort are the most likely because they are on opposite sides of each other. Eric and Amine. did you guys fight a duel because if you did, then one of the roleblockers is the pirate. Also, I stumbled on role called the hypnotist when looking up roles. Apparently, they can send a false message saying someone can be roleblocked. I don't know if this role is in the game but I have a gut feeling Nano would put this role in here to mess with us. Also, my poisoned messaged can also be false so if two play claimed to be poisoned, then there's probably the hypnotist in the game. If the pirate wins, the person is attacked. If the person wins, nothing happens. Either way the person is roleblocked and also receives a message if they were successful in the duel or not. I'm not sure how all the roles work, but from the looks of things, I think we have the escort/consort with those then. The evidence matches up to the phase post where we learned that nobody died, but it could be that we don’t yet have a killing role in play, or at least one that can’t act yet. (If the PlagueBearer exists, once they infect everyone alive at that point, I’m pretty sure they turn into a role that can start killing people.) I have not played much as the Coven Leader in ToS itself, but from my understanding I think it works like the Witch role from ToS (it literally replaces said role in the Coven), in the sense where it can control one person into another. I am not sure which roles exist in this setup, but Coven Leader will be pretty dangerous after N3 as I am pretty sure access to the Necronomicon gives them the ability to drain the life force of those they control (essentially killing them). Falirion Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 (edited) Okay so Thats a lot to process: 3 people claimed roleblocked, on of them specifically by the jailor the other 2 didn't mention a pirate duel so that would have to be escorts/consorts there is also the possibility that a hypnotist could have planted one of those messages the thing about both Hypnotist and Consort is that for them to exist there would also be a mafioso, if there is a mafia faction it always has a mafioso that is their nightkiller, if a mafia faction ends up without one, then one of the other mafia roles turns into a mafioso (unless they have a godfather, he would take over the killing if there is no mafioso) so the thing with that is for consort or hypnotist to exist a mafioso would exist and have somehow failed a nightkill last night (which is possible) roleblocking is possible here, so something to keep in mind the only other evil roles that could have killed this night (without getting visited that is) would be the potion master for the coven (that has a cooldown without him having the necronomicon) or the Serial killer (none of the roleblocked people can be a serial killer if they really were blocked, unless the roleblocker was also protected by a doctor, as the serial killer would kill someone roleblocking them instead of their original target) 5 hours ago, mimi said: What bad things!? Alistair Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 I know little about ToS roles, but the lack of night victims makes me think there aren't too many roles that directly kill. Perhaps a mafia factional kill, and at most another one that may have been unlucky and/or chosen to abstain. It's also possible that all the roleblocked peepos were killers and/or targets, but that'd be mighty lucky. And that's assuming people who claim to have been roleblocked were indeed roleblocked. The NA results given or implied by several players, notably Astra, Drago and Amine, are interesting though. If I understand correctly we can't directly vote to eliminate someone right? First we have to put them on trial, and then they can be either executed or spared. I got roleblocked last night as well; with good reason, I suppose. Sorry for not mentioning it before, I thought my previous post was lengthy enough. Either we really do have this amount of roleblockers, someone’s trying to lie about being blocked, or it confirms there’s a Hypnotiser in the setup as well.
