I almost agree with you all to be honest. But i feel like that mafs chosen the Assassin, yeah it's bit risky but at the same time that ability can help mafia to win, then it depends who have that ability, they can also deceive him if they are good enough. And i think that they also chosen the Trusted and the Keeper.

I agree, the assasin would honestly be pretty likely to be chosen, since in the earlygame, it's not very useful and I doubt the assasin would even shoot till he's absolutely certain. So I think the assasin has a fair chance of being chosen.

If the mafs are gamblers at heart and/or very confident in their ability, sure, it's possible. It still doesn't seem that likely to me that they would relinquish the exclusive capacity to perform night kills though. I do hope that the assassin, if they exist, knows better than to strike blindly and give the nobles an advantage.

day zero? never seen a game start day zero but oh well

anyway i think that they choose assassin cause if they die before they can do anything (which could be awhile with no idea on who is mafia and only 2 uses then no threat while the jailer on the other hand can use it every night with nothing to loose

Day Zero is pretty much just a normal Day One. Same Day rules apply, just figured that it more clearly showed that the first phase was a day phase rather than a night phase.

I mean, everyone has to vote still, but yeah, No Lynch votes are allowed.

Just to be clear, "No Lynch" votes are allowed only today or can we decide not to lynch every day? (which would be silly imo, but just to be aware of the options we have).

@Alaris No Lynch votes are currently allowed every day. Functionally, I only expect it to happen during this day, since otherwise you're essentially giving mafia a free night phase to kill someone when you have the ability to scumhunt to try and find someone, but I felt that, considering this is a BttB game and there's very few power roles, giving people more ways to use their vote (one of the few things the vanilla townies have) seemed appropriate.

This may be changed in the future, however, if it is somehow being misused.

Remember, 2 posts and a vote (even if for No Lynch) are required, with a warning if you fail to meet the requirement!

Caimie: Since the option for No Lynch is there for people who don't have anyone they have particular suspicions towards, I feel that including abstaining would not be necessary (and removing it would require the Nobles to better hide themselves, making the game more interesting IMO), and as such have not allowed it as an option. Like the No Lynch option, this may be changed in the future if need be.

Can potentially change if I find someone to have a questionable behavior or feel like pressuring another player, but given the circumstances I'll just start by dropping an

[Eliminate] No one

I think if they've had the chance to choose The Trusted One for any of the three specialists, they've chosen that role. Assassin has the posibility to kill off townies but that also helps eliminating suspects faster and getting to the real meanies. Experienced or inexperienced I don't think they've chosen assassin or cop as any of the roles.
In my opinion The Keeper is more likely than The Truthseeker. Losing a night kill is less bad than getting caught and losing a partner for the rest of the game.
