If you must know, back in the Sapphire/Ruby days, I was pretty excited to see what the starters were gonna be. When it was time to choose 1, I was devastated by the 1st 2. A cutesy little chicken and this weird Water Fish thing like Pokémon. But then the best thing that I saw after those 2 saved the game. Treeko. The best out of the trio. HAWmaro Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 I actually used torchic and treckoo a lot more than mudkip in game, but swampert was in my teams consistently since forever in competetive, so i simply grew attached to it more than the other 2. Trecko used to be my favorite but it consistentlymanaged to disspoint me so i became meh about it. and torchic while i still like, is broken as they get so I don't use it as much. Quote

Well there's a bit of a backstory from when I was like 6 or 7 which made me really like the desert fox. Fennekin is based on the desert fox so I was really hyped when I they revealed the starters and tbh it had top 3 favorite mons potential. But the way they decided to go with the evolution line was the biggest disappointment. I tried it out in reborn etc but no matter what I do, I can't bring myself to like any part of it. The only reason I went after the Torchic line first was because I don't like any of them while I still like Fennekin. Quote
