  1. Yeah you need to load an old save, the devs have not fixed this for whatever reason... Check the save file shortcut folder and rename one of the backups to whatever your save is called (should be something like Game.rxdata) The correct choice is said by Meilane in ORANGE TEXT, so do that instead if you want the best result. If your too lazy to read the text, then the best option is to
  2. You don't (I think?). I have never found it at least. It isn't listed in the item guide also. So probably doesn't exist (yet).
  3. It only works in some rooms. So try it in those rooms? One example is the dining room.
  4. According to the item guide Valor Mountain Blockade +Blunder Policy (1st top left room at the 2nd floor inside the blockade)
  5. She was created by one of the box things, and you find her in the hidden Axis lab, so it makes sense that she is with Clear and Kieran.
  6. Madame X was furious when Melia supposedly died at the start of the game. If she could still get what she wanted from a dead Melia, then she would not be so angry. If Clear and Kieran killed her too early like they were trying to then presumably whatever Madame X was planning would fail. Fake Amanda literally could have taken Melia to Madame X, but she didn't, she took her to a random factory instead, which tells me that Clear and Kieran don't want Madame X to actually get Melia. Edit: I do agree that they are not really working for her, I feel like they have their own motives...
  7. I was literally coming here to post that lol, since I just remembered about that too! To me it really seems like they want Melia dead... which contradicts what Madame X wants (granted her plan might kill Melia too, but she needs to capture her alive). If they were really working for Madame X then shouldn't they have just kidnapped her to their base?
  8. Oh and I just saw something else, Nim... errr "Lorna" claims to Lavender that when they find Melia they are going to kill them, which of course, if Clear and Kieran are really using them, why would they let them kill Melia if they were working for Madame X? Madame X needs Melia alive not dead. Of course, I guess Clear and Kieran could've not realized that Lorna would go that far, but they seem like the type to not make that kind of mistake... which reinforces the idea in my head that they might not really be on the same side as Madame X... I guess Lorna could also just be lying to scare Melia but that is debatable.
  9. It should be fixed by that point, I caught something in the wetlands lab with it. I think Saki fixed it in the castle or something idk.
  10. Yes really lol She was out t1 and in the winning attempt survived the whole fight. This was in my fairy mono no items, set mode (she counts as a fairy since she evolves into one). I came up with the idea of using her after failing with other strategies for like 3-4 hours. I realized that I could use her to freeze the field and it turns out that with a elemental seed, max speed IV, timid nature and speed EVs that she could outspeed his Electivire. My mawile could one shot the A-Raichu (with sucker punch), so that was no problem. The main issue was what came next, the Electivire would knock my Mawile into the red t1, then he would send in Togedemaru, this thing was a huge threat (especially considering this new field I made gives it +2 speed) and I had to get lucky to win, specifically I needed to freeze BOTH of his mons in the same turn, AND have them actually stay frozen, this took MANY attempts, but I eventually got it, on the next turn I had my slurpuff set up a sticky web, and then I just spammed blizzard and other moves until I won, two of my Pokemon did not even see battle, so yeah, the fact the Erick acted salty when he lost is justified, a stage 1 Pokemon carried me and demolished him. And yeah, the damage from A-Vulpix was pretty respectable, like I was very surprised, just goes to show that field effects are broken. Can you imagine if I had gotten the ice stone from the Kecleon quest? Then this would've been so free...
  11. Hey according to the guide it claims that you don't need strength for Mimickyu (you crossed it out) but it DOES require strength, I just checked on multiple saves, you need blast powder + strength. Image as proof. Unless there is something obvious I am missing...
  12. The special Aveium one. You can get the feebas after gym 1. Prism scale is available after gym 7 if you have a blast powder, you get 1 for free from Adam in ch5, but you can find more hidden around the map.
  13. One interesting thing I have noticed replaying this game is that despite the fact that Clear and Kieran claim to fight for oblivion in the evil cutscene, this does not seem to connect with what we have seen Madame X doing... Madame X helps save the world from destruction twice, once by stopping the bombing and again by helping to revert the future you and Melia created. Kanon also claims to have been tipped off about Vitus by a women in a mask (presumably Madame X) who claims that Vitus is the cause of the destruction of the future (which may or may not be true tbh). If Team Xen really wanted to bring back strom-9 like everyone seems to think, then why would they not be working with Vitus? Don't they both want the same thing? Which leads me to believe that they don't and that Madame X either does not really want destruction, or she wants it to be in a certain way. If it is the first option, then Clear and Kieran are lying to Madame X or they are lying to the evil MC, if she wants destruction in a specific way, then everything lines up fine. Personally, I feel like it makes more sense for Clear and Kieran to be secretly working against Madame X to destroy everything, after all when they ask you to join them they don't say Team Xen, they say something like "our team"... They also recruited Nim, who is storm-9 to help them, which makes them even more suspicious. Edit 2: Oh and I guess it is worth mentioning that Clear and Kieran say something along the lines of "we took a risk contacting you". How is contacting you a risk? If you refuse they lose nothing, and if you accept they gain a powerful ally... unless, they are not supposed to be having you join them... in which case the risk would be Madame X finding out what they are doing... Honestly was just something that I thought of that I wanted to bring up.
  14. Has the metal powder in valor mountain been removed? I look and it wasn't there. I check all the moods also, I think it has been removed unless I am just missing something.
  15. So as you may or not know, if you fight amber with low hype or freeze her field, she will like you less, this makes the fight a massive pain if you want to stay in her good graces. But during my mono-fairy run, I just now found a workaround (I am sure others have thought of this too but I wanted to bring it up anyway). Go to Akuwa town, the people will be back there now and in one of the houses is a move tutor that will teach you bounce. You see, when you use bounce it turns the field into a sky field, which Amber does not synergize at all with (except for thunder). Naturally this shuts down the boost from her moves, and it also shuts down the annoying boosts from her abilities and her Flareon's seed wont proc. The Pokemon I used for this was the special (Edit: as in the regional variant) Milotic, since having it out first makes the camurupt try to earthquake, but since I go first and use bounce, EQ does nothing, pretty much any Pokemon that can learn bounce would work but one that triggers her to EQ is optimal. At this point the fight is very free, since her edge is gone now, you can even bring a bunch of flying types to just bully her (which was of course not an option for me but whatever). Do be warned that the she does have an electric type with thunder, which will be made stronger by the sky field, so don't get cocky. But yeah, using this method you can make the fight pretty free AND not make Amber mad.
  16. I think the fix for that one would be "Takes less/Deals more damage with sound attacks" or something like that?
  17. What I mean is should I have a Pokemon that I invest 252 defense into, also be bold, or would it be better for them to be calm for more defensive variety? Lately, I have started to do the second option and I am unsure if this is actually awful or not. I know this tends to vary from Pokemon to Pokemon, but I am just looking for some general advice. If you really want an example, then we can use my Clefable from my Fairy mono run, I went with 252 HP, 252 Defense and Calm nature. Would I be better off with Bold for more defense or is calm helpful too? Thanks
  18. I did this fight just now in my no bag items, set mode run, and oh boy was she the hardest fight so far. Seriously she has so many poison type moves, and the Dewgong is a nightmare. Took me about 2 hours of attempts, no joke. Also, sorry for misspelling Pokemon names... Here is how I won, for anyone who decides to do a mono fairy in the future. Start with Mawile, trained in Attack and Speed, you need to get at least one defense drop with crunch on her Quilfish in your first two attacks or you lose. with my IVs, I could survive 2 waterfalls, oh and if you get flinched its gg also. After you get it low enough just let Mawile faint and send something tanky in. The best I had was Wigglytuff (yes really), I survived another poison jab, then use body slam to finish her off, this is a damage roll, so good luck (which is also why you NEED the defense drop). Then she sent out Floatzel, I just let it kill my Wigglytuff, then sent in Shiinotic (defense, hp), ice punch from the floatzel will do about half, so as long as you don't get frozen you will be fine (this happened to me like 4 times btw), just use spore to put it to sleep then strength sap to heal back up to full, kill it with giga drain, but if it wakes up spore it again and strength sap, you NEED max hp. She sent out Dewgong next, which is a big problem, swap into Deedene, and use parabolic charge, she will likely switch out into Seaking, which gets lightning rod for some reason, at this point, just spam flash or charm, if you don't have flash, until you faint. Then send in Shiinotic. With my EV/IVs mine took about 100 damage from poison jab, but it might be different for you. Anyway, use the spore + Strength sap + giga drain combo again, and try to have max hp. At this point, I think she sent in Primarina but I can't remember, it has ice beam which can be a bit scary but if you are high hp you should live, just use the combo again. After this she will send out Lanturn, which is little threat, just use the combo again. Lastly, she sent back out Dewgong, stay in until it toxics you, and in the meanwhile hit it with giga drain/moon blast (you need to evolve it after it learns this move, since its lower form gets it at 39), then swap. If the Dewgong is hurt it will go for rest, so use this chance to switch in Primarina, and trap it into rest with encore. Count it's rest uses (it has 10), and in the meanwhile use shadow ball, you need 1 special defense drop. Once it runs out of rest, switch to Sparkling Aria, since it does a lot of damage with the field, if you got the special defense drop it should go down pretty fast. And that is how I got the 5th badge, if that one is hard, then I can't imagine how much the rest are gonna suck...
  19. Ah, I never considered that Nancy would also have originally been a real person, I guess that makes sense, I thought she was just a maid (never was a real person), but since she was made from one of the boxes, it makes sense for her to be like the MC.
  20. So I am replaying the game to do a mono-fairy run, and i noticed two things. I imagine one or both of these have been mentioned before, but I might as well put them here. 1. Amanda asks you to pick a profile when you choose your appearance, which are all clearly different people. Something that makes zero sense for her to say, until you realize that the MC looks different to everyone (seriously, this is a dumb plot point, how did nobody point something out soon? Like did nobody really say, "your pink hair is pretty" and then everyone else would be like "they don't have pink hair", but I digress), Amanda at this point is presumably already the fake, and this same fake claims they have been watching the MC since before they came to the region, I.E. they know who the MC is, so they want to ask what the MC thinks they look like for confirmation maybe? That or it is just an irrelevant detail and the game is just asking you to pick a character, which is likely, but I thought I would mention it anyway. 2. As others have probably mentioned, Nancy says she has know the captain for a long time, which should be impossible. We know Crescent has three of those boxes, so maybe the captain is made from one of those? Or maybe he just knows Crescent, so Nancy and the captain are just pretending to know each other, while Crescent keeps a low profile?
  21. Did you change any settings on your PC? Does this happen when you launch the game or when you pick your save file? If it is the first thing, then maybe try redownloading again and double checking any settings on your PC that might be breaking it? Your saves are stored separately from the main game, so you can just delete the game folder in its entirety and try to redownload it (if you want some extra insurance then you can move your save to your desktop, before deleting the game folder, but this should be unnecessary, as again the save is stored separately. Make sure to download the updated version. On the slight off chance that the game doesn't like your save file, you can try to load a backup save instead, you can just do this by renaming any of the saves in the folder named "save shortcut" (or something like that), and rename them to whatever your save is called, which if this is your first game will be "Game.rxdata". You can also pretty easily test if your save is the culprit by removing your save from the save folder (and onto the desktop) then trying to boot up the game, if it still breaks then your save was clearly not the culprit.
  22. I had zero problems with this area. I swept them all second try. Like the fights are free if you have good mons and go in with a varied three Pokemon. If you (unlike me) allow yourself to use items or play on set mode then the fights will be pretty trivial if you have decent and varied Pokemon. Honestly, the Aelita mirror match was harder for me, since I play with no items + set mode, it was basically "win the speed tie or lose", which sadly a lost the speed tie something like 5 times in a row before I won...
  23. You can hit certain keys to change what area you are flying to, I think its page up/page down? But it might be something else now, I don't remember...
