  1. Shame. No point then. Ill just use the gift slyveon as a breeding slave breeding friend. Assuming it is still in the game of course...
  2. A great option for this fight is a Sheninja with a Synthetic Seed. It will be unkillable except by the Bastiodon, which will only kill you if you hit it. If used right you can easily take out a few of her mons. As others have mentioned removing the wonder room should be your top priority
  3. There is a shadow ditto now? What do its IV's look like and where can you get it?
  4. I beat this fight with a very cheesy strategy. Basically use a few pokemon with Flash to knock its accuracy down 6 times. You can buy flash in the basement of the hotel in the city. Then send in a poison type. Garbador will struggle to hurt it with only sludge wave, giga drain and drain punch and will miss more often then not. If you allow healing items, just heal whenever you get low. If you do not allow healing items, then simply bring more poison types. Eventually it will run out of moves and start to struggle. Here is an image of me doing this as proof. This is from an older version tho. But I imagine it still works. Edit: I did this without items, so it should be very doable with items, you just need a little luck is all.
  5. I got one recently. It is only in the Safari Zone. You can find it in the area with the one tile wide path. It is tedious. I also had a happiny in my PC from somewhere, so someone probably gifts you one, but that was so long ago that I have no idea where I got it from.
  6. I want to say first that I really like the story of this game. I even wrote a "guide" that provides a "quick" overview of the story. 1. I disagree that characters do not have motivation. Tons of them do. Melia wants to not get kidnapped. Her friends want to help protect her. Crescent wants to protect the MC so on and so forth. Plenty of characters have motivation. It might seem like they are doing nothing sometimes, but that is really rarely the case. For much of the game they did not really have any direct actions they could take, the bad guys are overwhelmingly stronger than the main cast, until very recently at least. And now the group is acting. They are trying to awaken Adrest to help against team Xen, and they are now planning to raid team Xen's base to stop them. Before then they banded together to stop Team Xen elsewhere, usually by keeping Melia safe. So I don't really see this. As for the time travel stuff... ya it is a bit silly, time travel makes all stories really weird, since it breaks a lot of stuff. 2. I can somewhat see the point about them casually introducing random elements. I felt the same way playing the most recent version, it felt like the Devs just wanted to keep one-upping the story. But they do fit into the wacky world, so I do not really hate them, it helps drive the plot forward and helped to facilitate the story. 3. The game does tell you what the interceptor is. They are somebody who can change fate and is very powerful. They can also cheat death as we have seen many times. As for the masked villan. Well you got me there. I really think they should have been introduced by now as to who they really are. I am thinking they are a future version of someone we already know like Melia or something. (The evil version of Melia used the Y legendary and Madame X does also, but that is theory crafting for another time I suppose). Regardless, having some mystery is good, and unlike in some games like the original Pokemon, where Giovanni is just some evil dude, we at least know some things about Madame X beyond that, so I would say she is not too bad. 4. Why is everything so complicated. I agree with this for the most part. Like I said before it feels like they wanted to constantly do twists and shocking revelations. But at some point it becomes less interesting. Like oh the main character can come back from the dead cool, the main character is special. The main character is a third of Arcues also... hmm okay, the MC is very special I guess. The MC is actually someone else entirely... oh and they are just a magic box that makes a person. Like I agree it is a bit ridiculous that they pilled on some much in such a short span of time, but oh well. I still like the story a lot. 5. I disagree with Melia. She starts off weak and pathetic and has to depend on her friends to stay safe, she tries to push them away but realizes that is a mistake and instead decides to grow stronger so she can protect her friends and defeat Team Xen, who took her father from her and hurt her friends. Sure she stays in the same ball park of wanting to protect her friends, but there is nothing wrong with that. She is meant to be a trusting a friendly character. 6. I do agree with Ren being very weird. Everyone is just fine with discussing their top secret raid plan with the guy who is literally part of Team Xen. Sure maybe he does not want to be with Team Xen, but he wont leave them also. It really makes very little sense to me. Maybe he can't leave and they put him in the robot body with the stipulation that his real body would be killed if he betrays them? I am not sure, but it is indeed weird that everyone is just ok with it. 7. Too many characters. Yeah I agree. It is quite confusing having to rack my brain about who these characters were after not hearing about them for so long. The "friend group" is also getting pretty large which does lead to the exact problem of their being a bit too many characters. 8. Madelis is hardly a smug villian, she also has tons of characterization also and actually changes over the course of the story, She wants to stop the stuff team Xen is doing, but is powerless to do so. This is shown perfectly in the newest version, where she questions if the Xenpurgis should be done and also tries to warn Melia to flee. Flora and Angie on the other hand are less smug villains types and more complete psychopaths. Lastly, Zetta is hardly a smug villain. 9. I disagree that the plot is that hard to understand. It is very simple. Bad guys want Melia. Stop them from getting her. There that is the plot in a very simple form. Sure it has other elements that come up, but at the end of the day the story is about stopping team Xen from kidnapping Melia. So in short I agree with some of what you are saying but I think overall the game and its plot are fine. It may have a few problems but I think it is not that problematic overall.
  7. I did manage to beat it with much more cheesy tactics. I removed wonder room got her to switch away from Aggron, knocked out the Bronzong then swapped into a Shedninja with a seed to kill her Duraldon, stall out the Corvonight until it ran out of roosts and burned to death and then traded with the Bastiodon. Just had to fight the Metagross and Aggron after which wasn't too bad, took only a few tries once I picked out the team I used. I had no focus sash, so that type of strategies was not an option for me...
  8. It really does not feel that way. I tried boosting my defense against it and took the same exact damage. Maybe it ignores stat changes or something?
  9. I am fairly certain it does shift to hidden abilities in this game but it has been a while, so seems like a bug. Maybe just reset for one with grass surge?
  10. I noticed the same thing lol. Move does not seem to play by the rules
  11. IDK are you EV/IV trained and have a speed boosting nature? The Metagross Definitely is. Could explain why it outspeeds you
  12. This sums up my thoughts on this gym quite nicely! The seeds basically make it so there is literally no counter play. I am still trying to beat this gym right now but everything I have tried has not even come close to winning... Even typeless Sheninja did nothing to help me since the game just bugs out after you stall the AI for like 40-50 turns.
  13. I was asked to post this here so here it is! This is on normal difficulty. I play on set with no items. The fight against Saki does not feel at all winnable. All the other fights in the game felt hard, but I could always see a way to win, but not this time. Essentially her Pokémon take literally no damage but can dish out enough damage to one shot my entire team, I can barely even get past her first mon. The ultra death laser (or whatever it is called) is especially unfun, since it one shots and if I do survive I lose my stats. Even using light screen does nothing to help my situation and I get one-shot anyway. Attempting to use a special defense beast like Blissey and minimize cheese does nothing since Blissey dies in one hit anyway. Which from what I have been told is due to wonder room being in effect, which Jan on the hologram advice box thing, said nothing about (unless I missed it, which I guess is possible, I did not even know wonder room was a thing). Essentially, the fight seems very unfun and using cheese seems like my only way to win, since I have no way of damaging her otherwise. EDIT: Ok finally managed to win. And yeah it was no fun really. I was forced to bring something with wonder room to get rid of it, which hard locks you into a very small number of Pokemon, then I stalled out for like 50+ turns with a Sheninja (seeded) so I could knock out three of her mons for free. The lengths I had to go to win made it unfun, since the only way I saw to win was to cheese the hell out of the fight with a unkillable Pokemon. Like I might as well have just opened up console and turned on "Godmode".
  14. I have no idea what to do, usually I could see a potential path to victory, but not this time. Spoilers for 15th gym.
  15. I don't think so. The berries are relatively cheap and I don't think you can reduce them in any other way.
  16. Actually, do you know where specifically? I have been looking and havent found one yet. Is it just a rare encounter?
  17. I am struggling with Saki but I think I could exploit the glitch field with a Blissey and a little luck, does anyone know where I could find one? Thanks!
  18. Quick guard is what you want since it never fails. If you allow the use of items, then you can also cheese with revives.
  19. Protean Greninja is incredible, I have one on my save. Trust me on this. Later on when you can have a much more versatile move set it will be great since you can get STAB boost on any type and even turn your self into a type that resists your opponent. If you really hate it then you can use an ability capsule to switch to the non-hidden ability (torrent) but that would just make your Pokémon weaker tbh.
  20. It being the MC's regret makes a lot of sense to me. I get the idea of what you are going with. Its certainly possible that the four lights are the "four heroes" and the 4 people Melia, Erin, Alice and Allen are all just one of those four split apart. The fourth person could be Ren? He is not really evil, so Idk maybe he is the last light? They could also throw a curve ball and have it be like Madame X or something. It could of course also be someone like Crescent, but honestly, I think the reveal with her is that she is just evil. The box theory is interesting. I am pretty sure someone, I think Natashia? Asks if you have used the box, this implies that they know what it is but that what it does can't be seen in an obvious fashion (after all if they could see the effect of the box they would not need to ask if you had used it yet).
  21. I still like the Nancy being the fairy gym leader theory the best. -She has a Sylveon and Mawile -The fake ghost Nancy uses only Fairy types. -Nancy must have been coming to the region for a reason, that reason was likely to bring the interceptor, I.E. You, to the region (which depending on the true nature of her relationship with Crescent she may or may not have known you were the interceptor, I would wager she did not know since, if she does know then why in the hell would she take a sword for the immortal demi god) but if I recall correctly, you had to emigrate to the region, so she presumably had to have an actual reason to be allowed to do so. Becoming the fairy leader of the region would be a pretty good reason. We also know the league is in terrible straights and in need of leaders, so it makes since they would hire basically anyone for the position, heck they were gonna hire a child as the normal leader. -She is a good battler as she beats Natashia easily. -A random npc (yes really) in GDC says that he has 15 badges, but cant find three of the gym leaders. One of them is the Fairy gym leader. It would make sense for him to not be able to find them if they were, you know, dead. Of course, since she is dead someone else will probably be the leader now, unless time travel is used or something.
  22. A quick google search indicates they are some sort of tik-tok/Youtuber, with 20 million followers and 3 million subs.
  23. did you delete the save folder? there are back up saves in there that you could use. If you still have them just rename one of the backups to "Game.rxdata" and you should be good to go. If not, then well that is unfortunate.
