Is the battle against Freya ( or now known as Clear ) meant to be won or does losing against her changes the story in any way ?

Now back to the discussion, I would really like to see more of Neved, after Blacksteeple Castle he's only seen like twice in the game, maybe an event involving Moseley because of her connection with Maman. Nastasia is without a doubt my favorite Xen admin and I would love for her to get a redemption arc without her dying what usually happens with people deserting from team Xen. Madelis I can also see having a redemption arc but is much more likely to die after it than Nastasia. I think they did a really good job with making Geara as hatable as he is and I hope he dies sometime in the future. Cassandra does indeed seem like a bit of a waste right now, I feel like she could've been involved way more with the things we do in GDC but for now she just sits in office all the time.

The pokemon I use for utility are a flame body Chandelure ( which I also use in battle ) for hatching eggs, a team of 6 Linoone for Pickup, a Galvanthula with thief and compound eyes ( also used in battle ) and Zangoose with False swipe ( It's actually one of my 6 main mons, i just keep replacing False Swipe and Facade with each other depending on if I catch stuff or battle ). Don't use mons for HM moves, you can buy Golden items in the casino / AP center that replace the HMs.

But TRs are usually bought with watts and work like gen 1-4 TMs ( 1 time use only ), wouldn't they have to make a special currency like watts to buy them ?

Well both Adam and Ryland are ancestors of king Ieisel, I don't think Valarie has any connection to those old times, then again I also don't understand why Florin out of all gym leaders is one that has 3 shinies on his Intense team.

The gym leaders / characters that have shiny pokémon are these I think: Melia who always has a full team of shinies, Keta has a Shiny Lucario and Shiny Ninetales as a ghost, Erick has a Shiny Electivire, Flora has a Shiny Venusaur, Florin has a Shiny Sceptile ( he also has a Shiny Tangrowth and Cradilly in Intense mode only ), Adam has a Shiny Sudowoodo and Probopass in Casual, a Shiny Aurorus and Kabutops in Normal and a Shiny Archeops and Terrakion in Intense, Ryland has a Shiny Claydol, Damien has a Shiny Latios, Zetta / Ren have a Shiny Silvally, Karrina has a Shiny Alakazam, Crescent has a Shiny Gothitelle and Erin has a Shiny Florgess. Some of these might indeed be plot-relevant but many don't really seem like they are.

I even got it first try on one of my saves, and if you weren't aware of it yet, it has a garuanteed 3 perfect IVs of 31.

Carbink can only be found in caves / indoor areas so day or night doesn't really matter i think

That's how I always gather my heart scales, becomes even easier if you use a Galvanthula / Butterfree with compound eyes and thief.

Where it's found is currently not known, but the last star shard will most likely be given by Novae after fighting her for the last time somewhere in a later version.

For what reason do you want to breed trapinch with haxorus ? As far as i can remember, the only egg move the haxorus line can learn from the Flygon line is First Impression, correct me if I'm wrong. But even if it is, the move reminder in GDC should allow you to relearn egg moves. So just wait until V13 and then go to the move relearner.

Maybe you can try getting leavanny / swadloon. They have chlorophyll as an ability. They also have some moves they can learn ( all within the current level cap ) that can help: most important of all is grass whistle, it's all still up to chance with low hit chance on 55% but still better than nothing, note: only swadloon can learn it on lvl 1 so be sure you have a heart scale. They can also learn struggle bug to lower Ninetales' sp.atk while it's asleep. And lastly, as mentioned somewhere above there's nature power that will turn into a powered up judgement. Now to get the sewaddle ( if you haven't caught it already ), it's a reward given by challenger Mars in Goldenwood Cave. Edit: I have found a way to negate the activation of Ninetales' magical seed that's available by that point: Roserade with the move grassy terrain. Budew can be found as an event in gearen park, then just evolve it into roselia. Now for the shiny stone: up to that point in the game there's only 1 shiny stone available an can easily be missed. It's only available in the Thief's dungeon during the get an item quest and choose the left door right before the exit. Then evolve roselia and go to the move relearner and let roserade remember grassy terrain. This might take quite some time and you'll be using some non grass types for this, but not in any required fights. Learning you cacnea the egg move switcheroo. So for this you'll 2 non grass type pokemon, first you'll need a linoone with switcheroo ( go to the move reminder for that one ), next you need a buneary which can be obtained in gearen by trading a cherubi. Now breed the linoone and buneary so the newly hatched buneary knows switcheroo. Then breed cacnea with the new Buneary so the hatched cacnea can learn switcheroo. Be sure grassy terrain is still up while he switches in Ninetales, then just use switcheroo on it so it can't use the magical seed when the field turns back.

In the entire gen 8 pokemon pool there's only 1 ( excluding kubfu / Urshifu ) new pokémon that evolves in a specific location, that being Runerigus. So aside from figuring out a location for that one it seems kind of unecessary to change their methods / locations.
