  1. Great thank you! I see, so how is the Odd House Quest triggered? Doing the gym puzzle again answered this question, a mew led me to an Odd Key.
  2. So I've made it to West Gearen and before I do the gym battle I wanted to do the Spector side quest to get the Ghost Memory. Or at least try it as I'm about 10 levels under it but BIGJRA's guide insists it's doable at this point. The same guide provides instructions to: 1. Go to Goldenleaf Town and talk to Narcissa next to the sign east of the Pokemon center then go into her house and read her diary. 2. Take a Zoroark to the chamber in Phasial Cave that requires Rock Climb to access and use Night Daze in a wild battle to alter it. 3. Cross the bridge and talk to Narcissa again. I assume the above is to trigger Spector to appear by the Giratina statue in Goldenleaf town where his quest begins. The issue is that Narcissa is NOT at the sign east of the Pokemon Center nor is Spector at the Giratina statue. I tried the Night Daze thing before I realized I'd missed the sign and the diary steps but Narcissa was not there either. On another but related note: My research has revealed to me that the Odd House no longer exists in V12 as it has been replaced by the Lost Castle. Apparently this doesn't hinder the Spector quest, a part of which is set in this location but does this mean the Odd House and Generator Problem quests are now unavailable?
  3. TY for the info. I got lucky, not only is my Silvally shiny but has boss IVs. Oh and I forgot to mention in my last post, Sho, I always carry as many healing and revival items as possible and with Revival Herbs buyable at this point in the game Imma be sure I have a shit ton of those especially.
  4. I've thus far been finding Rejuventation quite a bit easier than Reborn even though I'm on Normal aka Reborn mode. Not to say, however, that I haven't struggled and gotten frustrated in some areas. Geara/Zetta on Valor Mountain and Rift Garbador to name two examples. So far Crawli has been the most difficult gym leader for me but he still wasn't more difficult than Shelly. I appreciate all these suggestions I shall keep them in mind. In regard to Silvally, I don't believe I have the Fire Memory, where do I get that?
  5. Amen to that. I'll let you know. I bought the Sword expansion pass and still need to give it a go. I've been engrossed in Rejuvenation recently and damn I'm actually finding it a tad more interesting than Reborn. We've got to get Ttar to play it at some point. I'm already anxious to see his reactions to the plot and characters and hear his wild theories. As for Reborn, I believe I'm in the final stretch of Ep 18. I'm preparing for the Glass Workshop gauntlet which worries me a bit since apparently I've read that there are no heals in-between battles. A comment on the Wiki claims an Alolan Muk can sweep the entire thing with Minimize and Curse so I'm training one up among my team to give that a try.
  6. Huh, interesting. My best guess is that keeping the stone instills a bit more urgency into your need to leave and "return to your friends" whereas if you relinquish the stone you don't leave with what you came for and can't immediately accomplish your task so a little extra time spent with the Eldest makes no difference. On the Officer/Maria subject, when I saved the officer something came to my attention. You need Magma Drift to do it. If you do that whole scene with no method of using Magma Drift (you didn't buy the Golden Drift Board AND don't have a Pokemon that can use the move with you) I presume you're forced to save Maria. I just found that rather intriguing unless I'm wrong (side note: I have the Golden Drift Board).
  7. Lol. I always do take each decision seriously. This one between the Officer and Maria was the hardest one so far in both Rejuvenation and Reborn but I am quite satisfied with my decision!
  8. Oh I see, I didn't realize there were two different sets of point systems. I appreciate the explanation. So it's the Karma points that matter most?
  9. I haven't noticed the Eldest acting less friendly thus far to me, just to Tommen for Aelita's coma. Right now where I am at this: actually makes a lot more sense. Remember, the Eldest never wanted to go to the ruins in the first place, she was adamant that messing with the Garufa was dangerous but reluctantly gives in because you and Alieta are adamant that the magma stone is of crucial importance (which it is) so I would think that she'd be pissed off with the player for giving up the stone as opposed to keeping it because the risk will have been for nothing and she will have wasted her limited remaining time on a mission she never wanted to go on. There is also the fact that the first thing she says to you when you keep the stone is "Thank you for trusting me (insert player's name)." So now I am feeling better again about that choice but still need to make the officer/Maria choice. I am honestly, looking a lot at the long term outcome, as much of it as we currently know at least. That Maria entails nothing except an essentially useless extra karma point (which I felt was such even before you confirmed it) is quite unappealing to me despite that I do care about Maria and don't want to allow an innocent child to be murdered. I read in an older thread I found on Google that the officer will promise to repay your mercy which feels somewhat important to me (as it did to the person who posted that in the old thread). That's the biggest thing that's got me going towards the officer and although I don't care as much what Gardevior thinks a tiny part of me does want the bitch to fear me. Forgive me Maria and Anathea, but the officer it is. It seems to have changed. In a V9 relationship variable guide there is only a -2 from Venam if you both DID NOT save Amber AND gave the Magma Stone to Cera whereas in the most updated relationship variable guide for V12 no points are listed for the what you choose to do with the Magma Stone. Update: I saved the officer and Venam had agreed to go after Maria so I feel good about equal effort being distributed to both just the same. Another thing that led me to the officer was that while I believe he should face consequences for his actions, Gardevior's punishment was not the properly just one.
  10. That's where I am having the most trouble. On the one hand, I don't want to abandon an innocent child, and as Marionette she does/did save our lives. However, on the other hand, I don't automatically judge the officer as malicious just because his actions killed someone. He made a hasty and terrible choice that went against a sacred duty and should face consequences for it, but he was clearly shocked and traumatized that he'd taken a life. That's not remotely characteristic of a cold person who only cares about their own agenda or some profound bigger picture like "cleansing" the world and human souls in Arceus's name. We don't know his story. What appeared to be greed might very well have been desperation and we clearly see at the end of that scene that Gardevior had deceived and manipulated the entire group of officers. At the end of the day, they were just puppets. Morally, I want to choose Maria because as you said, the innocent child does tip the scale but based on my knowledge of the outcomes, the Officer seems a bit more favorable because it's successful whereas going for Maria is not and results in losing them both.
  11. I'm struggling a bit with this decision. My Google research has revealed the following: - In Save the Officer path, we're successful and the officer survives while in the Save Maria path we fail to save either. - Saving the Officer is considered the "right" choice because it falls into the 'save everyone' and 'don't judge people and be the better person' category. - Saving Maria (or trying to) awards an extra relationship point with Anathea even though she's a ghost now whereas saving the officer has no effect on the relationship points. - Saving the officer makes you Gardevior's enemy #1 whereas you're more a joke than a threat to her if you choose to save Maria. - Neither choice effects Melia. Supposedly saving the officer also allows you to refuse upcoming choices Gardevior (whom I am officially theorizing at this point is either Madam X or Angie) gives you. I'm leaning more towards the officer but is there anything else I should know? On a different but somewhat related subject, whilst reading up on this choice I read something that made me question if keeping the Magma Stone was the "right" choice. I was aware that in Rejuvenation the choices and relationship points are more important than in Reborn but not to what extent. I didn't realize that there are choices that are considered "right" and "wrong" until I read about this one with the Officer and Maria. What my research on the Magma Stone choice entailed seemed to suggest that neither choice changed much except when you get the Magma Drift TM and access to the TM shop. At the time my mindset was that preventing Cera from reviving Angie was more crucial than the Eldest's life and it helped that the Eldest agreed and urges you NOT to give up the stone (and it certainly didn't hurt to know that the Eldest survives both paths). The Eldest appreciating my trust at the end of the scene had been a big comfort at the time but now I'm wondering.
  12. Update: Before the hiatus he entered the final stretch of Sword Extreme Randomizer. He's just beaten Oleana in Rose Tower after having to for the second time rebuild his team due to a massive wipeout by Hop's Keyrum that literally only King (his starter Melmetal) survived. As do I and twice now this Sword Extreme Randomizer has cut him closer than I've ever seen to losing the Nuzlocke. It's quite thrilling!
  13. Hello again @BIGJRA. (Sorry about the double post). You're guide has been quite helpful to me throughout my play-through as a first timer but I need to point out an error that needs correcting. I'm at the Valor Mountain double battle against Zetta and Geara with Melia (and struggling with the damn thing but I digress) and in that area you have the following statement regarding the Blizzard TM in your advice: I assumed this to mean it is available in the Kristiline TM shop so I went all the way there and it's not. Apparently it was pre-V12 but was moved to Grand Dream City as noted in this thread: The Kristiline TM shop now has Avalanche instead. Don't worry my trip wasn't entirely wasted, I needed more Great Balls as I tried doing some shiny hunting in the ice variation of Valor Cave. Plus now that I'm in a travel area I'm gonna see if I can breed a fast Beartic.
  14. Yup. I finally managed to catch a Chansey after 2 or 3 of them fled and the prize was an Oval Charm. IA @Edonot worth it but oh well. Live and learn. 70 Zygarde Cells? Damn I've got 24.
  15. I do have the mods installed. That's a bit annoying but TY will do. My next gym battle is Amber but I'll be sure to take a look at that. Ugh, well if it gets me the Lucky Egg, it'll be worth it.
  16. I posted this in this thread: However, it's been about a week with no answer. The answer rate is a lot better here. I can't enter encounters in the Safari Zone. During the transition from over world the game crashes with the following error: I have a feeling that the woman in the lobby gives you the Lucky Egg for showing her a Chansey and if I'm right I could really use that. It also would have been nice to have a Drought Torkal for Crawli though Sunny Day Castform ended up getting me through that. Fortunately, I saved before both times I entered so I didn't lose the money, why does it cost a fortune?
  17. Just a head's up that this issue is resolved. He appeared after I did the cut scene with Melia and Vanem.
  18. My early game MVPs were: Simple Swoobat Magic Bounce and Ominous Wind Xatu Iron Fist Monferno Intimidate Mightyena Sturdy Solrock Psychic types in particular are a big advantage over the first 3 gyms. FYI you can also get a Spoink prior to the first gym as a Casino prize. I wanted to do this but experienced a glitch obtaining the Coin Case. Swoobat took care of me though. Important Features that differ Rejuvenation from Reborn: Achievement points: These are awarded for various natural activities such as running around in the grass, battling trainers and shiny hunting (Rejuvenation has the same shiny odds as Reborn). The most valuable use for APs is the golden items (Golden Ax, Golden Hammer, Golden Surf Board etc.). These items perform the HM functions in place of teaching the moves to a Pokemon which unlike in Reborn are in fact HMs not TMXs with the exception of Rock Smash thus require the move deleter to erase (though she is accessible fairly early in the game, trust me, the HMs can still be annoying). APs can also be used to purchase cards that provide access to EV training rooms in the Gearen City Lab as well as an EXP ALL, the latter of which can save you a lot of grinding. Help Center Side Quests: These are easy to moderate side quests that award good prizes such as Rare Candies, free Gourmet Treats which can be used to trigger static encounters (these are also purchasable in common marketing areas but are expensive), Super Potions, Great Balls, A Blue Moon Ice Cream (an extremely rare item that instantly maximizes friendship for those annoying but necessary friendship evolutions) and even a couple of Pokemon (specifically Pichu and Eevee). All of the quests also award money prizes, anywhere from 500 to over 2K which is the best money available early game. Some of them also have other benefits such as opening secret areas or shortcuts. Friendship Statics: There are some static Pokemon in the game such as Espurr and Growliethe that require interactions such as petting, playing with and taking Growliethe for a walk to develop friendship before they'll join you. Limited EXP and EV Gain: Like Reborn, Rejuvenation also has the obedience level caps but unlike Reborn, Rejuvenation stops EXP and EV gain upon reaching each one. The caps can however, still be surpassed using the Daycare and Rare Candies. New and Altered Field Effects: Rejuvenation has a lot of the same field effects as Reborn but also some different ones such as the Haunted Field and some with altered effects, i.e the Forest Field can no longer be converted into the Burning Field. At not that I've been able to figure out. There is a manual included with the download. Auto Save: As the name suggests this automatically saves the game at random moments. Just putting this out there because the icon that pops up as an indicator (a floppy disk with an arrow) can be difficult to see and you might want to disable if your uncomfortable with it which can be done in the options menu. If the auto save leaves you stuck in the middle of a cut scene, you can load a previous save assuming you have the sense to save before and after all major events or when you feel there might be one coming up if you're unsure (catching a new Pokemon, boss and gym battles etc.), but disabling auto save can eliminate the work to do that. This is all I know up to where I am now. Here is a full guide to the entire most recent version of game: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Dk0g5bVs0B4JNuSR-f4AAFIeWQozHosKFS-wPao9bc/edit Above all, have fun.
  19. Perfect. I'm still preparing but TY. Then it seems I have an issue since as I said Rorim B. isn't in my Hula Meadow. I'm actually there now because it has the highest levels for grinding and I'm shiny hunting a Trumbeak for the Crawli battle. It's a small area so doesn't take much exploring so I can guarantee he's not there. Full disclosure, I finished the Help Center quests.
  20. I'm in Kakori Village and a little lost. The last thing I did in the main plot was talk to Melia outside of Crawli's office. After a bit of dialogue, a boat pulled up to the island playing loud music and Melia having recognized the specific song rushed off. I've been all over the island and can't find where to trigger the next part. I also can't help being a bit concerned because BIGJRA's excellent guide describes a battle with Rorim B. in Hula Meadow after which Augustus is supposed to take you to Secret Shore which somehow regains you access the mainland (Gearen City etc.) but Rorim B. not there in my game. I haven't battled Crawli yet, is this meant to be sometime after that even though the guide lists it before?
  21. I have a feeling I need the badge. I kind of figured I needed some form of progression, thanx for clearing that up. Correction: It's not a badge that's required, you just need to do the cut scene in Crawli's office.
  22. Shortly after arriving in Kakori Village I started the Help Center quests. I've turned on the Bulbasaur quest and I'm told to search for the Team Xen thief in a shack on route 5, however, I can not access route 5. There is a woman blocking it at the entrance who says only certified individuals may pass. I'm at a loss for what I need to do. Am I just unable to do this quest right now? FYI I always Google before I create a thread here so this thread exists because that was unsuccessful.
  23. 'Sup? I've just gotten to Kakori Village and it seems I can't enter encounters in the Safari Zone. For my first visit I wanted to start off in the very first patch of grass just inside the entrance and during the transition from overworld to wild encounter the game crashes with the following error: Fortunately this kind of thing is exactly why I save anally so I didn't lose anything but it's a bummer and I want to know what the woman sitting inside the lobby gives you for a Chansey. I'm suddenly getting the feeling that it's the Lucky Egg and if I'm right I'm going to be salty that I can't get it. UPDATE: I tried going further in and still receive the same crash/error in different areas of grass.
  24. No big deal, we still got it sorted, thanx a bunch. I'm hoping that Seviper could come in handy for Narcissa's Mimikyu.
  25. Certainly. I'm saved in the gym, I never left after my last attempt as I anticipated that this might happen. Game.rxdata
